I Bet The "NSA" Has A File...

of all my phone calls.
And if I were a betting man I would wager that there is an effort to find leaky leakers and the journalists who speak to them by our friends at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for political purposes.
Just a Monday morning FYI and heads up for you to chew on.

I wouldn't be surprised that all of this blog is being followed by the FBI and/or CIA and/or NSA. There used to be some clear laws, implementing regulations and/or instructions on this kind of endeavor, but under the Bushies, all bets are off.

I assume my communications of all kinds are subject to eaves dropping and so should anyone else that speaks out against the current administration.

These are frightening times for the United States. We might want to re-read, or read for the first time, what happened in Germany in the 1930's. Our country might be closer than we think to an absolute totalitarian regime.

Welcome to 21st century George Orwell's book: "1984!" Would never believe that the Gerbil has turned this country into a totalitarian society. Big Brother watching you...

I know I'm on the list. They know I call my sons regularly and e-mail Peaches 6 times a week. Ya I just tell it like it is and I always tell who ever is listening to have a nice day. Big Brother is watching and it's not for terrorist. As for who leaked the notes from Cheney well Cheney has millions of enemies and the rest don't like him so good luck at finding that one person. Cheney's polls are below 18 so it might even be one of the 18 as this is a group of back stabbers they turn on each other.

Well, I understand Mr. Fitzgerald's statements when he was on that panel defending the Patriot Act, sure it helps him somewhat....but I wonder if he is so gung-ho on the Patriot as he was back in '04 (before the elections)?

He sure didn't seem worried about our civil liberties either then. Matter of fact, I think he might have helped expand the Patriot Act. He said defend yourself, take it to that is a laugh. Too bad he didn't realize not everyone is as honest as he wishes they could his boss.

A good source for what is taking place in USA, read Edwin Black's book.."IBM and The Holocaust", relates about "punch-cards..Germany had the largest Data Base in the world..One reason for the Tattoo's was they knew what a persons profession, job, abilities were immediately..If you were a scientist, doctor, welder, whatever.they knew where to use you. They could also move troops, spy, etc. A must read for what this Gubmint may have in mind. So sad.. Go, Fitz, Go!! All American Hero..We love you.

I would bet money on it. So . . .

Dear FBI, CIA, and NSA: I am sure you are thrilled to death to listen in on my cat stories to my mother and to hear the latest report on who regularly attends church every Sunday night. But, you folks are all doing this the hard and expensive way and you are not getting anywhere. It is too late to fix the past but for the future, do not be afraid to tell VP Cheney to 'shove it' the next time he has a really stupid idea!!

For the NSA specifically, the next time someone with an untraceable IP address tries to get through my firewall right after I visit the NSA Web site, please get into my e-mail and grade my students' homework for me. Because of the price of gas, natural gas for heat, fear of no Social Security, and Illinois raiding the pension fund, I now work multiple jobs with about an 85-hour work week. I'm tired. Your assistance would be much appreciated!

By the way, VP Cheney can be expecting an envelope of my phone records for the past few months to arrive shortly. That should make it easier on everyone. There would have been more, but I had some time on my hands and I shredded past phone bills. I would suggest that the next time VP Cheney doodles on the newspaper, someone gets a shredder. Has Fawn Hall retired yet? I heard she was good at making evidence disappear.

Thank you, and enjoy reading this blog!!!

Oh please, that was not Fitzgerald wanting the patriot act.

That was Senator Fitzgerald for chris sake!

And also Michael Chertoff is who wrote the patriot act, Fitzgerald's former boss.

Why don't you ask him here about it?

He doesn't trust that guy as far as the army could throw 'em, lots of people got fooled by neocon Michael fact, he never even liked their ridiculous CALEA program.

Night Owl,

You are too funny!! I don't think that NSA would bother with your open letter and life.. That is certainly a yawn to them...Now, if NSA hears a converation with you that you and Bin Laden are homies and Bin Laden will be shopping at Safeway to stock up food for the cave, then now we talking!!!!

The NSA is all crazy neocon fruitcakes.

Kathleen its time to scrub this sink clean the hard way, and toss out all the garbage.

I am sure they have us bugged, I just wish they would quit messing up my mail, I keep having to pass the spam test to send a reply to one person. The subject: Impeach Bush!! Maybe that's why, huh?
Have you noticed every time they say "We wouldn't do that...without a warrant!", next thing you know, they've been doing it all along and didn't ask for a warrant because they thought they would be turned down.
Go Fitz, get those dirty rotten scoundrels for a better America!
