no worries. we've got enough people here to assure
curtis doesn't get elected.

thank you Mr Al Rogers for that encouragement-

A supporter of Tom DeLay described him as waking every day thinking about how to get conservatives elected. My response was to wonder why he had to make such a power grab, and redistrict to "guarantee" Repub victories. Does he not believe in his own value system and the voters choice? Is cheating the only way to succeed?
Or is he so caught up in his own "value" that he believes all the "perks" of office are his by divine right?
The sad thing in all this is that there are genuine conservatives who truly believe. They are the ones cheated, because they have been used to further agendas of those who have no idealogy, wearing one only as a ploy to get elected.
The needed dialog, about the direction our country should take, will get shoved aside, as name-calling and trials become the issue. These people came to office on values and morals and turned out to have neither. Beware those who drown out dissent, they are selling air. (And apparently not clean air, either, based on their environmental record.)

Wow, as of late, I am having a hard time keeping up with all these comments. I am instructing one of my interns (also an "Independent) to engage in an experiment to moderate the comments and enforce any restrictions she sees fit on any posters she sees deems "disruptive."

Rosemary informs me that a new visitor has been placed on triple secret probation. ;) And she is no stranger to the word "delete."

She is particularly offended by more than 5 posts by the same author, especially post after post after post and offers the following advice - "Keep your comments short and sweet, and use your freedom of speech here judiciously or I will strip it from you as quickly as you can say Gitmo or Patriot Act."

Tough cookie, be good to each other!

Grandmanuk,

When Fisher first made his appearance here I did some investigation and exchanged with print and web journalists who had interviewed him previously. I was told he will not divulge even a hint of anything he says he has and his stories are consistantly conflicted and I quote.."unbalanced".

Rosemary -
sure.

on FT: America cannot have it both ways with Russia
Selective co-operation - the idea that the US can reap the benefits of partnership with Russia on Iran while rolling back Russian influence - is a chimera, write Nikolas Gvosdev and Dimitri Simes.

With Bush and Co focused on Iran and oil [see 'Obama' from two days previous], we will have further descended our ability to be viewed as a true democracy, no less with Ms "Shopping for Nordstrom Shoes while people drowning in NOLA" Rice, TELLING the Iraqis how to govern and whom should govern... we need to halt the madness ...

Rove is a key architect. So is Cheney-
Fitz. A very merry Fitzmas needed.
and soon.

We must not allow him to press a button on Iran, nor shift Russia/Putin close to them.

We will only lose more troops and American lives here and abroad.

We are certainly if not the most depised nation, much closer as a result of their silly unclever manuevers.

CJT,

The fisher story is in fact very real and quite a long twisted journey. I won't bore you with the details.

Presently certain information has to be kept "tightly wrapped" so as to not disrupt all investigations which are in progress....

I will let the clowns play with Clint Curtis, since the blog is now moderated.

=)

Needless to say, Mr. Curtis never revealed the full story....and that is a complicated narritive which will be told at some point.

Rogers and a few "others", turned against Fisher early on and stopped investigations by completely discrediting him.

Also the investigations were lighting fires around AIPAC so they had to be "plugged"..

As far as I know that won't be a case anymore, because internationally this is being tracked closely....and all of the information will be exposed in D.C. and other areas at "ONE TIME PRECISELY".

I can not reveal anymore beyond that, however I have seen ironclad proof and have IP addresses as well as names.

At one time I even wrote down "plates".....and that information will get to the proper individuals.

Hi bluewild, we wondered where you have been! Welcome back.

Rosemary, can't we just block dr desperates IP. After all if you want to listen to factually ignorant comments, we can go to Queenie Drudge, perv bill O'reilly and so many others.

Why aren't you lurking there,DD? You refuse to educate yourself-or you wouldn't support criminals. Treasonists at that...
