The public was given a preview Tuesday of the loot, which was laid out in orderly rows in a warehouse near Los Angeles....
There is a leather sofa. A solid cherry sleigh bed. Nearly a dozen rugs. Marble-topped nightstands, armoires and sideboards, many featuring stained glass, brass fittings and intricate carvings.
''There's a real mix of different styles -- Art Deco, French provincial, American pioneer,'' said Britney Sheehan, who works for the company that will auction the goods.

Somebody should make a film of the auction, with closeups of everything Cunningham bought with his ill-gotten gains going to the highest bidder, then show it to every elected official. And make Cunningham watch it every day he's in jail.
Dirty money bought it. Send it all gift wrapped to the White House.
A luxurous rummage sale by Cunningham to pay for his debt. That money should be given back to city of San Diego. That city has dealt with some many scandals and financial burden. Politicians certainly should have two terms: one in office and the other in prison (stole that slogan from Jackie's picture of DeLay's mug shot from prior blog.).
I sure need a decent bookcase for my living room at my apartment LOL!

He should donate all items to Salavation Army/Goodwill.
