Alito is scary. With what I've read about him and his belief of the law, I don't see a good future.
In some ways I'm glad I'm old because I know I would want to live like people did in the 20's. I was blessed to be at the begining of civil rights so I just experienced a little of the hate that this country showed. I was raised in believe it or not a town in New Jersey that treated all kids equal. I saw only a little first hand as a young adult. But Alito was to bring back those years as Lott wants the South to raise again. You young people will have to fight like hell to keep our country free from the likes of Alito and company.

I agree, Jackie. I grew up in Memphis in the sixties. People lost their lives in violence and riots to advance civil rights. I still remember the cross burnings and how scared I always was. I hope that doesn't happen again.

I know there are great people in the South, not to mention the best food, and Bush only pretends to be a good ole boy, but damn, there are days I wish we had let them secede.

The religious right is really just an excuse to keep women barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen, and everyone else "in their place."

To call them religious when they are really a group of hate mongers towards anything not exactly like themselves, is to fly in the face of what this country was founded on.

Sam Alito, you have storm clouds over your head.

The sad thing about Alito and others is that they represent the worse of the South. I have friends and found family from the south. The beauty and love of the people that made it from those bad days are the heart of sole of our country. I just hope Lott/Alito don't destroy the progress the south has made.

Kit your right and I to hope women don't have to go backward to the days of hangers and rape. We tell other countries to give women equal rights under democracy yet our government is taking womens rights away.

Fitz we need you to stand up for women along with fighting the criminals. At lease the guys will listen to you.

Sam doesn't view the law important and will try to uphold the law on wiretapping. That's the problem number 1 fitzgerald.

Whatever you think of sam, you've got to help stop him because he will try to throw out ALL of the wiretap cases thus getting criminals and even bush off with a slap on the wrist...

This is a big deal- fight it like the wiretap cases boys..

Spammers now can get jail time for their bullshit, zionists beware!!

Damn -- I didn't yet connect those dots.

What the heck was I thinking . .
Sam.

Be your own man.
This spying thing is absolute huge PJF and Sam .. and also the Plame case is pivotal to either halt or advance Bush's private agenda which is tantamount to having the Constitution shifted to being irrelevant; just as we've seen with Kyoto Treaty and now Nato, the UN.

Should that be the case,
Sam, not sure many would want to know you.

Be your own Man. Make sure you cannot be bought, metaphorically speaking.

Today's news, folks: Why did NBC's Tim Russert resisted in testifying in the CIA Leak? Was he afraid of the big bad wolf prosecutor, Fitz? Or was Russert crying for his mommy?

I vote for the 'cry to mommy' .. he's owned.. owned by someone.

I'll point to mommy now, and later as facts reveal,

Russert is certainly crying to his mommy like Woodward did when he is SO AFRAID of Fitz. Anyway, here is the Washington Post article. It can be seen on the Washington Post online:

According to the NY Times, Abramoff claims that he is broke and lonely. Pfft! Was Abramoff THAT LONELY when he was ripping off the Indians???? Also, was Abramoff that broke when he was living the "fat of the lamb" and didn't give rip about anyone else??? Finally, here is a update from Raw Story updating. More corruption:

Grandmanuk - trust, but verify - I like Sam as a Klingon Scrabble pal. In DC you don't have to agree 100% with someone's politics to be friends.

Strategerie - Interesting, huh? How about I let Libby off if Seattle wins? ;)

Patrick, that's an interesting offer, but we all know that it's not best to take the first one! How about a nice Karl Rove frogmarch instead, hm?

In the meantime, get used to hearing "Super Bowl champions, Seattle Seahawks"...

Fondly,
-S
