Welcome back Fitz! And an Happy belated New Year to you. I am sure that the Texas prosecutor will have a wonderful 2006 year with Abramoff pleading guilty. I am sure that Abramoff have a lot to fess up to bring down DeLay and others. Funny how that coincides with the plea bargain of Richard Causey, ex-accountant of Enron, in exchange to testify against Lay and Skilling. We cannot wait to hear the house of cards fall on the administration. Justice does prevail....

PJF: welcome back and Happy New Year.

A few of the faithful, such as myself, sincerely missed our daily [sometimes multiples in a day -- kind of like vitamins] your posts!!

Over the holidays, my mom said she had read an article about your style and how you go for Number 2 to get Number 1. Flip Number 2 to get Number 1..

I like that style, I love the strategy!!

Well, this is like a pyramid scheme/house of cards....

pull out a critical support to the corruption and well, the rest just sort of naturally comes down.

YOU WERE MISSED!

WE LOVE FITZMAS!!

hmm. So the same firm, which employed
ABRAMOFF
and knew about his nefarious dealings,
was also the SAME firm
involved in the 2000 RECOUNT?

Believe this nugget could be the one they don't want you to find any more facts about Fitz...

I just read on Raw Story more on Abramoff. A big round of applause to Emily J. Miller, the ex-fiance to Scalon, who squealed on Abramoff and Scalon all because he dumped her for another woman. Boy, crime does pay. Where is the love?

No more long vacations for you Fitz I just can't take it. Now Abramoff is singing like a bird and there will be more to come out of this case as others try to save themselves. I've tried to keep up with the news over the holidays and it seems that all this corruption started in Texas. Thereby taking the White House. Just a thought you should ask the NSA for their illegal tapes that just might clear up your case fast.
Hi to all the bloggers.

What's this I read about an upcoming profile of PJF in Vanity Fair? Do you ever get sick of those Fitz/fits puns?

From the NY Daily News:

He Fitz the mold of a relentless U.S. prosecutor

Vice President Cheney's indicted former aide, Scooter Libby, probably won't be comforted by Vanity Fair's upcoming profile of Libby's nemesis, Patrick Fitzgerald.

The 45-year-old federal prosecutor - who's throwing the book at Libby for alleged perjury and obstruction of justice in the outing of CIA operative Valerie Plame - takes no prisoners, David Margolick reports.

"He has an almost puritanical view of the world: You're either a sinner or you're saved," New Jersey defense lawyer David Ruhnke tells Margolick about Fitzgerald's zeal.

The Brookyn-raised Fitzgerald - who investigated terrorism and prosecuted the first World Trade Center bombers as an assistant U.S. attorney in New York - seems to share a certain obsessive workaholism with his longtime target, Osama Bin Laden.

"There are the tales of the socks and underwear he keeps in his office desk, of having to stop at his office en route to weddings to pick up a suit, of colleagues calling at 3 in the morning to leave messages on his office phone and hearing him pick up," Margolick writes. "From his discombobulated apartment comes lore about lasagna grown petrified after three months in his oven - that is, once he'd had his stove connected."

Not that Fitzgerald doesn't have a puckish side - like the time he succeeded in convincing a colleague "that one could tell the Chinese dialect people spoke by taking prints of their tongues."

But as for romance, he sounds like a lost cause.

"You can see that he isn't going to cancel any plans to see you or make it to a party you've been invited to," a woman who dated him confides. "He keeps waiting for the next assignment to be over so he can see his family, get married, get a life, but he just never gets there."

Question?
NSA taps =national security
Plame outing= national security
Why is the Man loud on one and silent on the other?
Aren't they both equal in the crime of national security?

agreed . . .
think the folks in the senate/house/administration at large believe this is the
'teflon theory' ...
if they give it back/donate it,

well, its teflon -- back on to someone else.

we all know that Fitz and fellow prosecutors are too brilliant to let slime get away with it ..

I'm tired as a Patriot of this Fine Nation, to have this unbelieveable corruption penetration and permeate almost every facet of existence here in the US of A.

Our founders of this nation are surely, surely rolling in their very graves ... and looking for the honesty, integrity, to return back to the Oval.

I knew that I have a feeling that the major players in the Abramoff's scandal are connected Fitz's case of the CIA leak. More and more will unravel. Speaking of Abramoff, I didn't buy that act of how all of sudden that he found "God" when he fess up to his dealings. He didn't find "God" when he was stealing from the Indians. Bush has a lot to worry about since he is connected with Abramoff. Bush, all of the sudden, has given back 6,000 that he has given to Abramoff. Here are all of the players that are connected or in the process of being investigated in the Abramoff scandal. I found this on the Think Progress website:

I was checking back here to see if Fitz was weighing in .. no doubt when he comes up for air from the massive, and still growing cow flop corruption pile that spans the nation, he'll have a few minutes to weigh in.

Thanks for the List. I see 'W' on the list and the bs maneuver to fork funds back over the transom.

Fitz. Nail this jackass. I'm tired of him twisting the law, the constitution to suit his own personal, greedy, dubious agenda.

There is an old saying: It will come back and bite you the butt. Bush will get caught. It is just a matter of time. He is emulating too much like Nixon in the Watergate: his ideas and methodologies. Yes, we are all sick of tired or being sick and tired of what is happening to the United States. We just just have to be patient with Fitz and the other prosecutors on this case to bring justice. Bush is like a mystery novel. You read the novel, find the mystery, solve it, and then the novel ends. This whole scandal should certainly make a movie with all of scandal, sex, and corruption. I would personally name the movie (starring Libby, Cheney, Bush, J. Miller, Rove, DeLay, Abramoff, Scalon, and anyone connected to the Abramoff and CIA Leak case): Shag in the City. The men's version to cable show, "Sex in the City."

Frist gives money back to tribe linked to Abramoff

By Bill Theobald / Gannett News

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist decided today to return a $2,000 campaign contribution from an Indian tribe represented by convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

Speaking of Dubya. Did you know that Bush is only giving back only 6% of the money tied to the Abramoff scandal? Here is more info from MSNBC:

Yet the Bush-Cheney campaign is returning only a fraction of the campaign contributions it received with Abramoff connections. During the 2004 campaign, Abramoff was a top fund-raiser for the Bush re-election effort, raising more than $100,000 for the campaign. While exact figures on how much he raised for the campaign aren’t known, Abramoff told The New York Times in July 2003—months before active fund-raising began—that he had already raised $120,000 for the Bush-Cheney campaign.

For now, the Bush-Cheney campaign has no plans to donate or return funds raised by Abramoff from other individuals.

You are a riot! I laughed out loud with the moniker:
Shag in the City ..
How these people are able to hold their heads any where above a pregnant ant's head is amazing-

As for W . . . well seems that Abramoff's firm helped with the dubious recount in 2000, heck, you know, its real money that would have to be given back now .. I'm sure he's checking a way to squeeze more dollars out of the middle class to cover that 'whoopers' . . .

We've got trouble in River City and its bigger than we'd ever imagine.

Some 60? We're starting with man at the top who claims he never met Jack. Think that's the T Shirt recommended earlier!
