Quote Of The Year...

so far.

FBI’s Washington field office, Michael Mason, congratulated some 15 agents and 15 support staff under him on the case for “a huge accomplishment” in squeezing Jack Abramoff to make a deal after 18 months of investigation and negotiation, one that made
“a huge contribution to ensuring the very integrity of our government.”
But he added that “the case is far from over...”
Special Agent Michael Mason is a dedicated public servant and he rocks!

Finally, some clear and honorable voices in the wilderness that has been our government during this Administration.

I applaud all of those who make it their life force to punish those who think they are above the law.

There's more than Abramoff out there...

CREW FILES DOJ COMPLAINT AGAINST REP. JERRY LEWIS
Corrupt Activities Mirror Abramoff and Cunningham Criminal Actions

Washington, DC - Earlier today, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) filed a complaint with the Department of Justice against Congressman Jerry Lewis (R-CA), Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, and a possible contender for House Majority Leader. The complaint asks the Attorney General to have the Public Integrity Section initiate an investigation into the relationship between Rep. Lewis and lobbyist Bill Lowery and Mr. Lowery’s firm, Copeland Lowery Jacquez Denton & White.

A recent story in the San Diego Union-Tribune asserts that Rep. Lewis, as Chairman of the powerful House Appropriations Committee, has approved hundreds of millions of dollars in federal projects for Mr. Lowery’s clients. In apparent return, Mr. Lowery, his partners, and his firm’s clients have donated 37% of the $1.3 million that Rep. Lewis’s political action committee has received over the past six years.

Michael Mason ABSOLUTELY ROCKS

Prsctr Bil and PJF:
Off topic .. I need some guidance here ..

Earlier I wrote being a victim of Identity Theft .. though at that time only via phone directly to credit card companies. Town where individual lives have police report; where I live [ya, the infamous 6 miles] --uhm, they'll get back to me er, when they find the time, eh?

Individual has since persisted to now use the MAIL to send in false credit card appln using my name, SSN, with of course, the infamous diff address, which I have .. this is now a FEDERAL crime..

? whom do I contact. . . the local police where said individual lives, don't have jurisdiction, the 'juice' as it were.

Do I contact the FBI? the Michael Masons? what I don't want to happen, is this person realize where I really live [nope, I moved since the garnering of the SSN .. not yet in my credit file where he could view it] ..

? local police seem to be of little assistance on this ID theft stuff.

Guidance/assistance/much appreciated

6 mile -
The other day I heard a police officer telling a victim of Identity theft that the police only investigate these types of crimes if they invlove large sums of money - I think he said over $50,000. That is becuase Identity theft is so rampant that they just don't have the time.

Anon
thanks. ... we're at the 45K mark today :)
as least I got the guy jammed by having his address and the mail held [at least in my name .. can't change my name/SSN] ..

It is hard to make the LAWS stick at the local level
when the Administration
decides to choose which ones it will follow, eh?

Now Sam ... what do you say to have to say on that little issue of the Administration spying ..?

All these crimes that committed while saying your a christian has should that there is a God. The fall of the corrupt was not by accident. The team of investigators have God's help. As for blessing the chairs well satan isn't always who he seems and he can transform into anything or anybody. You guys just keep praying for God's help and this to shall pass.

My advice is first contact the credit bureau to and let them know that someone is using your name for identity theft. You want to protect your credit report. Secondly, if she knows the person who commit the crime (meaning stealing your identity):

1. you make a police report.
2. you can file a federal charge and or a criminal charge

Thereby, after the person is found guilty of the crime, you can send the copies of the legal decision by the court to credit bureau. The credit bureau will accept that.

On a side note, please be careful out there!

Fitz I read about Michael Mason's history with the FBI. It was very impressive but boy the hours he works are 12 or more a day. If you see him tell him that one of the PJF flygirls was named after Jackie Robinson yes I know its strange but my Dad wanted a boy so that was the only way to at lease make him happy with a girl me. I hope the other bloggers read about Michael his dedication to his job and his team is one to be proud of.
His son's should be very proud of their Dad I know I am.
