Jurors: We would like the following additional supplies:

a dozen of Krispy Kreme donuts

2 Liter bottles of Coke

A box of tissues for a laugh from that transcript of Wells' closing arguments

And a bag of chips for hunger pains.

teak,

I read it as a good one -- at least they are trying to make sesnse of the case -- there where quite a few witnesses they probably never heard of before this trial.

It could be just one or 2 confused jurors and the foreman or someone else is trying to guide them with visuals as they review the testimony and counts...

I wonder if those were written by the Jury foreman?

I want a handwriting analysis! I'm hoping there's a "uniter" in charge.

Surely, they've already agreed on those of making false statements and perjury and are working their way through the obstruction of justice.

I would say the Jurors are doing a thorough analysis and that's a good sign! :)

I find it amazing that media sheep finally woke up and now telling the public about Dick Cheney's role in the Plame leak. I would like to tell the media: please the Q-tip out of your ears and remove the duck tape from your mouth and go to Truthout.org for the answers. Jason is always ahead of the game. Jason wrote an article back in February of 2006 about Cheney's involvement in the leak case. A year ago for goodness sakes!

Cheney Spearheaded Effort to Discredit Wilson

Found this article from 2003 of an other involvement of Cheney that is linked to France:

A Nigerian Contract at the Heart of a Corruption Affair

A judicial investigation has been opened with regard to ?the bribery of a foreign public official?, for the first time in France. It focuses notably on the French company Technip and the American Halliburton, which were associated in a Nigerian operation. Such an international inquiry is possible since the 1997 adoption of an OECD convention on the ?fight against the corruption of foreign public officials in commercial negotiations? which came into effect in French law in 2000. It?s within this new judicial framework that the Judge Renaud Van Ruymbeke is conducting his investigations and the Paris court contemplates an eventual indictment of the present United States? Vice President, Richard Cheney, in his capacity as former CEO of Halliburton. The investigations concern 180 million dollars of commissions paid on the occasion of a gas complex bid in Nigeria.
The hypothesis of an eventual indictment of Dick Cheney is officially contemplated by French justice. According to projections of the case, he could be charged with ?eventual complicity in supplying the means or the orders or the reception (of stolen goods)?, for the misappropriation of public property. If such a prospect is not on the agenda, it is possible since the opening of the judicial inquiry October 8 for ?the bribery of foreign public officials and misappropriation of public property? targeting the American company Kellogg Brown and Root (KBR) which is the principal subsidiary of Halliburton, known for having obtained more than 2 billion dollars worth of Iraq reconstruction contracts from the American government and over which Richard Cheney presided as CEO from 1995 to 2000.

The media has been IN on the deception.

In cahoots with the powers that be.

They'll hold out on reporting on certain things for as long as they possibly can.

Until it becomes public knowledge.

If they didn't report on it at that point, they would lose all of whatever credibility they still have.

This shows the jurors paid attention. Take each one of the witnesses to seal the truth. To bad Wells never gave Libby a defense for the jurors to review.
Or as SPB says: Bummer

"The media has been IN on the deception."

Stephanie:

Be careful with words. Not all of the media has IN on the deception. Some of them have hookwinked by the WH, some of them have been in the backpocket of the Gerbil, and very few of them defy the WH. Thank goodness for the fewjournalists such as Leopold, FDL, Waas, and others that stick with their integrity of journalism.

That's right. "Some of the media" would have been better worded.

(Or maybe "Most" .....)

Stephanie,

Jason told me in an email that certain media circuit were purposely handpicked by the WH especially NBC for their political purposes. But, nevertheless, it is ashamed that the name of journalism is tarnished. The WH has created a lack of trust of the media to the public from their lies.

Jason Leopold appears to have put up with a lot from the corporate media and their supporters that didn't want the truth told to the public. I am very thankful for Jason's articles and have much empathy for him.

Not surprised about NBC, spb.. GE profits well from all that war mongering. Everyone should boycott NBC, their sponsers and as many products as you can made by GE.
