Libby Locker Room In Turmoil...

WASHINGTON (CNN)-- I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby's lawyers are debating whether to call Libby's former boss, Vice President Dick Cheney, to the stand, a source with knowledge of the lawyers' discussions told CNN on Thursday.
Libby's lawyers also are debating whether or not Libby should testify or throw in the towel and negotiate a plea, the source said. Ted Wells is arguing, "if Scooter takes the stand we are screwed," while William Jeffress is countering, "without Scooter we are screwed."
One compromise under consideration is to postpone the inevitable embarrassment of the Vice President pleading the Fifth by only playing video tapes of him on Meet the Press, saying:

I think Libby should plea guilty. Just the words on tape by Cheney will send him to jail. The word competent and honest stands out. Now the word competent vs. memory lost. Honest vs 5 witnesses that discount his testimony. Cheney is already by Libby's own words the person who ordered the leak while still classified as national security. The Little Angel will blow Cheney off the map and as for Libby he will be crying like the baby he is. Wells and Jeffies will do better for their client to wave the white flag now. Already the Wilson's case has been made with all involved even the Gerbil. Leaders from around the world know this White House are full of liars and crooks and don't tell the truth. I also noticed that many female jouranlist are talking a little to friendly about the Little Angel I'll keep an eye on that. Three cheers for Randall.

NEW: Libby's lawyers debating whether to call Vice President Cheney to testify
Here are my thoughts concerning the trial and the defense:
Fitz had a pretty much straight forward and no brainer opening statement that use a timeline of events to prove that Libby committed perjury. And Fitz pretty much rest his case with his strategy being very solid. Russert's testimony with Fitz was only 12 minutes. Russert's testimony with the defense lasted 5 hours.
The defense has left a lot of holes in swiss cheese with Libby's defense. For the defense, there are uphill without a paddle having Cheney take the stand because all focus on alot of testimony and the Scooter's GJ testimony audio are on the deep involvement of Cheney in the leak case. The defnese knows that Fitzgerald will hammer Cheney on the stand. But what leaves questions to the jury are:
a) why was Libby an scapegoat for Rove?
b) where is the evidence that proves the Libby just simply had a bad memory and didn;t intentionally lie to investigators according to the government's timelime?
I know that the defense wants to call the NY Times reporter to squash Miller's testimony. But, the defnese has a week an half with defense witnesses on the stand to get into the hearts of the jurors to favor Libby's defense. The possible defense witnesses, Rove and Joe Wilson, are left in limbo.
Russert told the truth by being backed into a corner but make no mistake, he knows he's a damn fraud and is helping destroy his country.
Judy, the Andrea witch, all those slimey frauds so called elite in DC are nothing but traitors to their country and humanity.

The nation is on PJF's side, well most of 'em, the rest we will convince them.
I stand by my previous comments that neither Cheney nor Libby will take the stand in the trial. If Scooter takes the stand, it will cost him come sentencing time under the sentencing guidelines.
If Wells and Jeffress ever acknowledge that both of them are correct in their statements about Libby being screwed, then they should be smart enough to understand that the "least worst" option is for Libby to cut whatever plea deal that Fitz is willing to offer. And Fitz, if he is smart, will offer Libby something in the plea deal to make it better for Libby than if he was convicted by the jury.
The question is whether Libby has the guts to tell his lawyers to stop arguing and cut a deal with Fitz.
