I wouldn't say it's a pancake, Clarisse, but I just read Jeralyn's TalkLeft site, and she bears out my impression that it is the defense who is taking down Judy. Jeralyn said that Judy "sailed through" Fitzgerald's questioning but began coming unglued when Wells and Jeffress started in on her. Some bloggers want you think that Fitz scores a knockout in every round and that the defense lawyers are just blithering idiots, but that is not being objective and could lead to some disappointment.

It's true that the defense lawyers are putting pressure on Judy. I suppose this is a planned tactic, since they have said they won't put Scooter on the stand. They will be able to wrap up the final arguments by claiming that they have shown that all witnesses have memory problems, and therefore the jury must accept that Scooter did, too.
Unfortunately for him and in spite of how Clarice wants to delude herself, the live report from FDL indicates that Scooter had many, many more conversations about Valerie Wilson, than anyone else who has testified so far.
If the trial ends right now, it has been well-established (beyond a shadow of a doubt) that Scooter did not first learn about Plame and her status from Russert on July 8, as he testified to investigators.
The Jury would have no choice but to find him guilty of perjury under oath.

Good job, Fitz and team today! I just read all in today's hearing. In a nutshell, Judy is in deep trouble. And yes, she is protecting someone. Yes,I think it is another government offical. The question is who did Miller meet with on May 23 or what was her schedule on May 23? and when did Miller get a security clearance card?
I'm not going to comment on gas queen Feldman. I had a busy and exhausting day. No time to read the toilet paper article! She can't even help the gnome Libby.

The VP can tell Scooter whatever he wants, as long as they both treat classified information as classified.
Scooter is charged with lying to investigators about what he told the media, not what Cheney told him.

Another busy day in DC-one day this week I will hunt down a certain Ohio Representative and give it to him good. And I'm not talkin' about a kiss.
Today two military moms met with him-he was so rude and disrespectful to them, they left in tears.
That jackboot licking snake will be in tears when I leave him...Oh but they respect military and their families HA He will write them a letter of apology or I will bring soldiers into his office with me to demand it.
Anyway, Judy, judy judy...heehee and Clarice you too, can always be counted on for a laugh. Apparently its the only job gals like that can get. Clarice do you sleep with your sources too? Geez what is it about republican women? They tell themselves they are superior to other women, thus the reason they get ahead. Yet they use the oldest trick in the book!
