Yes, the Gerbil would do that to Ambien. People have to understand that the Gerbil has ran the WH like a corporate business. If you look at the pyramid chart where the CEO is on top, then the Chairman, CFO, COO, all the way down the food chain, the Gerbil is out to save his own neck and his family legacy.. And if that mean to cut the Ambien's throat so to speak, the Ambien will do it! Many corporate businesses are cut throat business where executives will throw one another under the bus to be in the top person in charge. The WH Administration is no different. CYA....

Forgot to mention this person and I got an email from him early this morning:

The next chairman of the Judiciary Committee, John Conyers, Jr.

Mr. Conyers's office has released two reports in the last year outlining Mr. Bush's various constitutional transgressions in the war on terror. The first report, released in 2005, focused mostly on his handling of pre-war Iraq intelligence. The second, released this year, was dedicated to the Bush administration's violations of the Federal Intelligence Surveillance Act in authorizing the National Security Agency to listen in to some domestic phone calls without a court warrant.

Ten months ago, Mr. Conyers introduced legislation to form a "select committee to investigate the administration's intent to go to war before congressional authorization, manipulation of pre-war intelligence, encouraging and countenancing torture, retaliating against critics, and to make recommendations regarding grounds for possible impeachment."

Patriot girl: You are welcome!

GEF & Granmanuk:

Well, first of all, I know that you want the Gerbil by the cojones. And Demcraic leadership is going after the Gerbil but no one is looking at what the agendas are for the Democrats and Pelosi. I know the first thing on Pelosi's agenda is not give Congress a raise in January. And I know that Murtha and other Dems are working on getting the troops home. And naother part of their agenda to spearhead to impeach the President and get hin on the 750 laws violated and the wiretapping and among others. But, Pelosi has a very heavy agenda. But, she made it known that she was going to drain the sawmp. The Democrats have a heavy agenda. And by Rummy steeping down after the election, this is a clear sign of a downfall Administration. I know, Granmanuk that you want the Gerbil remove. We all do. But, Conyers and Feingold will nail the Gerbil and Ambien.. I am on the House Democrats distruction list. And I did ask for a clear agenda if Pelosi becomes the speaker of the house. But, more great thing will come. But, the troops are on the Democrats' agenda.

"However Conyers investigation will surely untrench him."

Indeed, GEF!

"Next stop for the gerbil...

Let's not forget the public to do their part also to follow and through with their elected officials. This is not a one man show to have the Democrats do all the work. It takes the American people to do that part too. Yes, they are in office but both the public and the elected officals are accountable.

Advisers expect a battle royale over the balance of powers if Democrats use their new subpoena power to try to conduct what the White House is already calling "witch hunts." Bush and Vice President Cheney have made the expansion of executive power one of their hallmarks, and advisers say they do not plan to give up any of the ground they have won without a fight all the way to the Supreme Court. "We're going to have a fierce constitutional showdown over the boundaries of power between the executive and legislative branches," one adviser said. "The executive usually wins those battles, so we think we'll consolidate our gains."

Yep, that's it. Politics are Local and we must focus on what they're doing in our own State.

However we should now also catalog every decision that our state and local politicians make and then herald it to all their faces and inform our citizens when Election time rolls around again...

I propose one line snippets to keep it simple. Example:

Voted:
1. Stem Cell Vote: No
2. War in Iraq: No

and so on...

I also don't think that Porkbarrel bills should be allowed. Lumping alot of crap on referendums should be a no no. If you're gonna vote for 'this' then 'all of that' shouldn't be included because 'all of that' may be bad which negates the good that 'this' bill would do.

This forces politicians to vote NO on certain "Good" issues because in their conscience the other "Bad" Porkbarrel additions is not good for a given state!

Then come election time an opponent opposition shows the people look, your incumbent didn't vote for 'that' good bill...

When the facts are that the Incumbent was trying to balance what was right for his/her state.

So I say 86 Adding anything to bills.. Keep it Simple Stupid!

Then we'd really know where the Candidates stand and we could make a more informed choice!

This mash that we have now only serves the lobbyists which we need to 86 from Washington!

There's the truth right there!

Well that's true GEF. For example, there were officials that voted for the war and later changed their minds or the ones that were against stem cell research or equal rights for gays and so on.. And yes, hold of the flip flop officials.. Now, I really wrote a harsh email to an officals that compaigned for Lickerman when Lickerman was running the Dems ticket.. And that officials straightened up.. So, I think people need to pay attention to what measures, laws, and people that they vote on because then you can hold them accountable on his or her decision...

WASHINGTON, Nov 8 (Reuters) - The presumed new chairman of the U.S. House of Representative's budget-writing committee on Wednesday said that he would push to end chronic deficits and balance the federal budget within five years.
Rep. John Spratt, the South Carolina Democrat who is expected to head the Budget Committee in next year's Democratically-controlled House, also said that any new spending initiatives his party will seek would not be allowed to add to budget deficits in the near-term.

"We would simply like to go in a measured way toward deficit reduction and a balanced budget within the next five years," Spratt said in a telephone interview with Reuters.

CREW:

Dear Supporter,

While votes are still being counted in some states, the results of the 2006 elections are crystal clear. Across the nation voters sent a message to elected officials: Corruption will not be tolerated.

Thanks to your help in amplifying that message, CREW was integral in making corruption the surprise story of the midterms.

CNN exit polls showed corruption was the issue most often cited by voters as extremely important -- more than terrorism, the economy, or the war in Iraq (watch and discuss Bill Schneider's analysis on CREW’s blog).

These results are encouraging as CREW’s mission is to identify, publicize and root out political corruption. Yesterday voters did what congressional leaders have refused to do -- they sent eight of the members identified by CREW as the most corrupt in Congress packing.

Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) – Lost

Sen. Conrad Burns (R-MT) – Lost
Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ) – Lost
Rep. Richard Pombo (R-CA) – Lost
Rep. Don Sherwood (R-PA) – Lost
Rep. John Sweeney (R-NY) – Lost
Rep. Charles Taylor (R-NC) – Lost
Rep. Curt Weldon (R-PA) – Lost
In addition, Rep. William Jefferson (D-LA) faces a runoff and several others faced closer-than-expected races due to their ethical issues.

This election vindicated our belief that ethics count. But the fight against corruption is not over. CREW will continue to pursue the surviving members included in Beyond DeLay, and seek to make ethics reform a top priority in the new Congress. Members of Congress must be held
accountable to their actions.

Thanks for your support,

Melanie Sloan

Today is a day for us all to celebrate! America is coming back -- with a Congress that has heard them and a Congress that cares about them:

No more rubber stamp Congress
No more free passes to the Bush Administration on Iraq
No more arrogance
No more give-aways to the most powerful
No more cozy corruption

Yes to accountability on Iraq
Yes to consumers
Yes to our families and our children
Yes to the environment
Yes to energy independence
Yes to affordable health care and stem cell research
Yes to an increase in the minimum wage
Yes to the recommendations of the 9/11 commission

Can we get it all done? Yes, if our colleagues in the Republican Party recognize that this is what the American people want -- and in a democracy, it is what they should have.

I am hopeful because the people have spoken very clearly. By electing a Democratic House and, if all goes as it it looks now, a Democratic Senate, the American people have clearly spoken out for change -- and with your continued help, that's exactly what they're going to get.

Thank you so much for being on my team. Our PAC for a Change community made a great contribution to this amazing election victory -- and it would not have been possible without you.

He was nominated to become the Director of Central Intelligence in early 1987, but withdrew the nomination after it became clear the Senate would reject it due to controversy[4] about his role in the Iran-Contra affair. I wonder if you could tell us what parts of their agenda are still on your radar screen, and if you think they're right to be frustrated? And also, Mr. President, may I ask you if you have any metrics you'd be willing to share about your reading contest with Mr. Rove.

Raw obtains letter detailing Democrat's 'oversight priorities'

Congressman Henry Waxman (D-CA), the the ranking member of the Government Reform Committee, has long maintained a list of "oversight priorities" that would presumably be implemented under a Democratic majority, according to a letter acquired by RAW STORY.

Waxman enumerated those priorities in correspondence with chairman Tom Davis (R-VA) in February 2005, but as the minority party, Democrats have been unable to advance the agenda.

Citing the uncertain outcome of the November elections, Karen Lightfoot, spokeswoman for the Democratic Government Reform Committee staff, would not comment on which of Waxman's initiatives would take precedence if the Democrats win the House, or on when they would likely appear on the committee agenda.

The letter, however, clearly enumerates Waxman's priorities.

Many of the items included were also listed as part of a fact sheet released by the minority staff of the Government Reform Committee in October 2004. That document notes that, among other omissions, Congress has "failed to investigate... the role of the White House in promoting misleading intelligence about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and ties to al-Qaeda." Both documents also list grievances relating to detainee abuse, the vice president's role in government contracting and influence over energy regulations, and the outing of CIA covert operative Valerie Plame.

Joe Wilson talks about Plame leak at meeting

With Hall and Rep. Maurice Hinchey, D-Hurley by his side, the former ambassador to several African countries slammed those he believed really betrayed his wife and the country.

"When elephants fight, it's the grass that gets trampled," Wilson said, making reference to an African proverb. "Novak is only a blade of grass in all this. There are bigger fish to fry." He named Armitage, Vice President Dick Cheney and Bush's chief political strategist, Karl Rove.

Wilson recommended that people read "Hubris: The Inside Story of Spin, Scandal, and the Selling of the Iraq War," a book that claims Plame was disrupting nuclear programs in Iraq, North Korea and Iran before her identity became known. "That's what Bob Novak, in his efforts to be a shill for the likes of Karl Rove, compromised," Wilson said.

I have feeling that Novak is still under the radar for the Wilsons..

6:59 PM
Blogger Phx said...

Yep, Novakula ain't getting away that easy...

Neither is Kristol or Wolfowitz, who I'm sure will end up being named in Court...

That's when the line of questioning should go: Well in your drafting of the PNAC doctrine which Wolfowitz masterminded, what were the long term goals outlined there ?!

I'm sure that Iraq was preplanned by the NeoCONjobs back when daddy gerbil was President..

Now you can understand why the Ambien needed to shred documents..

Ambien has played alot of roles in his long tenure and I'm sure some clever Prosecutor somewhere on this planet is dwelving deep into Ambiens history...

The Wilson's will have alot more information for their civil suit as the rats tell on each other. I heard from Peaches yes the troops in Afghan are cheering the news of Rummy's departure. Most are looking forward to Cheney's announcement of resignation.

Think of the men and woman in uniform that are so badly damaged, that they will be in wheelchairs for the rest of their lives....think how they feel.
All for these criminals. Yes, criminals.
The Bush Crime Family is still around just circling the wagons. We are going to have to work really hard and demand much from our elected officials.
I know that Pelosi is very shrewd, she says that impeachment is off the table, she said she wouldn't bring articles of impeachment, BUT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN after the hearings reveal just how bad it is. No wonder the idiot bought 93,000 acres in Paraguay (with stolen US Gold) he's gonna need a place stay and it ain't Crawford Texas.

And yes, I am convinced paper is the way to go. Low tech low cost low maintenance! People act like it a big deal to count-it isn't-four poll workers would count an ave total of 800 ballots. The poll workers told me it would be easy and require less training!

Is that bacon Fitz is burning?heehee

I wonder why Nancy P is just saying no to impeachment,is she waiting for an indictment.

Where did pork rind go anyway? Free repug isn't as angry as I thought about the election-I think they might be a little relieved. I sure am:-D G'Night

I never mention from my comments about the real Conservative Republicans as part of the Grand Old Perverts did I? I said Grand Old Perverts! That means the officials in the GOP that are perverts. Just like all attorneys are not sharks! There are attorneys and there are shark attorneys. If the GOP offical is not part of the pervert gang, then they are not part of that group.

"..by the Way I still think we need to get rid of those e-voting machines and return to paper ballots.."

And thank you very much Congressman Global Evil Doer Fighter for your comments. I'll make sure I vote for you next time! LOL! People should be given whatever choice that suits them IMHO!
