Ohio Coingate Crook & Bush Fundraiser Gets 18 Years in Prison

TOLEDO, Ohio -- A former GOP fundraiser at the center of a scandal-plagued state investment in rare coins that helped Democrats seize power in the midterm elections was sentenced Monday to 18 years in prison.

Tom Noe, a prominent coin dealer accused of taking at least $2 million, was convicted last week of theft, corrupt activity, money laundering, forgery and tampering with records.

Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Thomas Osowik, who described the crime as an "elaborate scheme of theft on a large scale," also fined Noe $139,000. <more>

Just say, "No, thank you!" to graft. It is good to see Ohio cleaning up their act...whodothey think they are, Illinois? ;)

Look for more to come with the fall out and guilty findings. What amuses me is how heartless some of the GOP are. Yes Dems too but so many GOP have committed crimes it's overwhelming. People work all their lives to have someone sell that life right under them.

I read about the summit with Iran/Syria/Iraq. No Bush invite to spoil the discussion. I remember when any Summit held there was always an American President invited as a leader with knowledge and input. As the world see that Bush/Cheney are idiots no need for their input.

Hi Ms. Jackie,

How is Peaches?

Is it just me or does anyone else notice that almost everyone who poses with President Bush ends up being indicted and sent to prison? Thank goodness I am camera shy... ;)

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Gunmen shot and killed a television comedian today who was famous for mocking everyone from the Iraqi government to U.S. forces to Shiite militias to Sunni insurgents.

Walid Hassan's slaying came as the Iraqi death toll rose to more than 1,300 for the first 20 days of November — the highest for any month since The Associated Press began tracking the figure in April 2005.

Fitz our Peaches is find I'll let her read your posting ok. I'm getting good on this computer stuff.
Your right all those who hug Bush end up convicted but remember Bush has the Libby illness he can't remember it's that memory loss.
I know your shy in from of the camera but you doing much better. You are looking good and standing straight so be proud of yourself I am. It's funny and I know you don't want me to say this but your an attractive man with the face of a little angel. Some lucky people keep the look of the child but grown up to be strong honest respectful men. I am so proud of you and I know anyone who really loves you are just as proud too.
I do pray that you would take a little time for yourself and start your life with someone who can love you just as much as I do but differently. When this case is over take that personal time or I'll be making that trip to your office and I'm not going to be a happy lady. Even Randell can't help if I have to come to Chicago.

O.J. appearance canceled on FOX.

"I and senior management agree with the American public that this was an ill-considered project," said Rupert Murdoch, News Corp. chairman. "We are sorry for any pain that this has caused the families of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson."

Yeah right, only after people complained. Rupert Murdoch has no class.

The Oxford Research Group report said recent political changes in the US would make "very little difference" to the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hello everyone!

Hi, Waterflake!

Anyone that either associates, breathes, and rub elbows with the Gerbil is hosed.. The Gerbil is now been treated by his so called friends like AIDS. He is like a bad smell to them. That is why they are distancing themselves from the Gerbil. His friends know that the Gerbil is losing his power..
