Separate That Church From State...

CREW FILES IRS COMPLAINT AGAINST LIVING WORD CHRISTIAN CENTER
Pastor Endorses state Sen. Michele Bachmann for U.S. House Seat -- Allows Bachmann to Give Stump Speech

"Churches, like Living Word Christian Center, are absolutely prohibited from intervening in elections for any public office. This prohibition is a condition of the very favorable tax benefits public charities receive under section 501(c)(3) of the tax code.

On October 14, 2006 Ms. Bachmann delivered a campaign stump speech from the Living Word Christian Center’s pulpit and the church’s pastor, Mac Hammond, openly endorsed her candidacy. Pastor Hammond’s comments and Ms. Bachmann’s speech were made during the Living Word Christian Center’s weekend services, presented before the entire congregation and broadcast over the Internet. By using church resources to promote the candidacy of Ms. Bachmann, the church jeopardized its tax status." <more>

Ryan Katcher Update On His Death
I spoke to my cousin Jim, and he found tracks from the vehicle where Ryan Katcher was parked by Kickapoo Lake. He was on his way home from a party. No drugs or alcohol were found in his system due to the length of time (5 years submerged in water), but my family suspects that something was put in his drink. We aren't sure if he even drove himself to the lake because his seat belt was fastened before the truck was pushed in. Ryan Katcher never wore his seat belt. My family is being told it was suicide by the FBI, but we know better. Now if I correlate it with the attempted poisoning that I went through after working on Fitzgerald's investigation, where I was brought food by a Polish Mafia member, became ill and had hair loss, for the second incident, cold chills and tremors, was it strictnine or arsenic? The FBI certainly does not do it's job, is one assumption I've come to.
The laying to rest of Ryan Katcher was a huge turnout. Jim said it was a really beautiful outpouring of church members and supporters.
Thanks to Laurie Cabot, Ryan Katcher was found a week after I emailed the good salem witch for her help.
Our family is laying low, still finding it hard to find jobs because of these incidences of our outspoken behaviour in defending our country and our rights. Never did I believe that it would come to this.
Well, that's all I've got to say on this issue. It's a sad ending but like my cousin said it gave everyone a sense of closure.
Take care everyone, Sarah

And good for the CREW! Politics should not be the house of GOD. It is interesting that the church in California was taken away their tax deductable privileges because the priest spoke out against the war and yet the Gerbil picks and choose what churches that he wants in his backpocket!

Apparently, you've never heard of Kansas AG Phil Kline. Wants to get into everyone's medical records because he is so against abortion. Real piece of work.

The local news station (that supports Republicans big time) always makes sure they send out a news crew for Kline when he does his guest "sermons" in church.
