One more thing on Ken Lay. On Talkleft.com, In September, the justice department tried to get Congress to pass law that vacating criminal conviction on a person who dies. Not one member of Congress voted for it. This tells me that Lay preplanned his death. He got the Gerbil to make sure that Congress wouldn't pass thar type of law. So, he fakes his death, he has a quick cremation which we don't know whose corpse it is, timeframe of the police officers' arrival to Lay's home in Aspen, a quick funeral, background ties to the family, the Gerbil family, and corporate businesses, as so on. Lay precalculated faking his death. He had an airtight plan. Good night! Biloxi out!
Frontline on PBS has show on about Iraq. Sounds like maybe more excuses and CYA.

What's on my mine is why did the Congress let Ken Lay get his case cleared. Now when Lay comes back he has not criminal record. The attorneys worked so hard I don't blame them for leaving. NO Justice No Peace.

And, btw...SPB...Prince Bandar was in Aspen at the same time. Now his home is for sale and so that means he won't be returning to Aspen.

SPB you are so right. Now let's look at the time line. It works. Lay died in his home in Aspen. Yes hours pasted before calling the police. Yes the body was taken and cremated at once no one saw the body. Yes fast funeral. With luck of rain you couldn't see the faces of the visitors. Lay could have attended his own funeral. EARASER IS THE WAY KEN LAY WENT. I hope those who lost their life savings keep looking for where Ken Lay is hiding. Look this was plan B if A didn't work. Yes Bush and Halliburton company knew the plan and it worked. Notice the delay in time before the police were called. Check the flight records during the hours of the delayed time as that would show what fights left Aspen. He might have just gone to Canada while everyone was looking. All the hard work of the DOJ was destroyed by Congress and the White House. These guys gave up time with their families to bring this crook to justice only to see our government let him off the hook. I pray Ken Lay gets caught and makes the hard work of the DOJ worth justice. I really do believe he is alive and it was planned if he was found guilty.

Paul Evans is the real deal. City Councilman in Monmouth, Oregon at age 18, Evans has been twice elected as the city's mayor, served in the Air Force and the Air National Guard and been a teacher at Western Oregon University and Oregon State University. Evans is currently running as a Democrat for the State Senate in Oregon, his campaign representing one of the party's best pick-up opportunities in the chamber this year. And now he has been informed that he will be shipping out for duty in Afghanistan on November 5, as Peter Wong reports for the Salem Statesman Journal.
He is scheduled to leave Nov. 5, 10 days ahead of his original deployment date. His mission will last 60 days -- which means he would be back for the opening of the legislative session on Jan. 8 if he is elected Nov. 7 to the Senate District 10 seat. more

That is too bad that the Justice Dept is out of whack. And Gonzo the worm is no help. And there are hard work attorneys that overworked and underpaid. And it is too bad that good people are leaving the DOJ such as Sean Berkowitz and John Huston. BTW, I do wish John and Sean great success are their new jobs. Ken Lay was in his home in Aspen when he so called "died." He wasn't in a hotel room. Smart slicksters like Lay don't check into hotel room as a disguise especially with camera in hotels. While the MSM and people were focused on Colorado and Texas where the funeral was, Lay proably went in another direction to head to Canada and chartered a private plane out of the country.. But, his plans was well calculated.. And I don't think Prince Bandar was connected with Lay. Yes, he has a house in Aspen but so does a lot of wealthy people. But, Bandar was not in Aspen. Remember, he bailed out from his job and he was selling his mansion. The real connection with Lay and the Gerbil is the company: Carlyle Group. The Carlyle Group is connected to the Saudias and the Saudias are connected to the Bin Laden family...But, I believe the Gerbil family know alot more about the "death" of Kenny Boy.

You're correct...it wasn't a hotel...he had rented a home in Aspen. He had previously sold his home in Aspen and that is why I was thinking he was staying in a hotel.

Whereever Ken Lay is, Lay had a well planned plot to skip long prison. And the corpse that was used as the body of Ken Lay and cremated quickly probably missed some teeth so that you can't trace dental records. What a slickster to escape prison time. And and nice payment to the coroner office. And a bummer for the corpse that used and his missing teeth! LOL! Or maybe Lay joined Bin Laden..
