Top o' the mornin'......Keith Olbermann gets it so right! Good for him. It is way past time for this administration to start having some accountability for the messes that have been created on their watch! All of this horse manure that they are throwing out there about helping the enemy with dissent....they apparently think that the sheep mentality of our American public is still in play. We have some news for you GOPiggers......WE THE PEOPLE are watching carefully!

You have killed our children in an illegal war; you have allowed 2,000+ of our citizens to be killed because of your ignorance; you have allowed almost 2,000 more to die in the wake of Katrina and Rita with your "do nothing" approach to government; you have sacrificed our children and grandchildren's futures with a chorus of corrupt and mismanaged appropriations; you have trampled on our rights and stolen elections.
give up on calling us "traitors"! Look in the mirror!

Come on November 7th!!!!

t....I'm here DC waiting for you!
(Actually, I'm just visiting my family!) Let me know when you'll be
here again.

Top of the Morn to you All

That was excellent-I'll have to email KO and tell him how outstanding that was...

Hey GMNUK, stick around! I'm teaching workshop on Patriot Act Sept 16-but I'll be there a little earlier and again toward the end of the month. It should be a good time for all.
Ray McGovern will be there the same time also doing workshop-can't wait to meet many people there-Cindy will probably sit this one out, I read.

Could someone please explain this to me?

It raises some serious questions about Mr. Fitzgerald, and I feel extremely uneasy about this.

Good Morning Team Fitzie & Justice Bloggers...

My favorite part of the Olberman video is the Murrow quote:

"We will not walk in fear - one, of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of un-reason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men;
Not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate, and to
defend causes that were - for the moment - unpopular."

KW- Most of that is first time reading for me too-however, I have read about the case, ect and that was not the conclusion I came to about its relation to 911.
The FBI is on the record that there was not enough evidence connecting OBL to 911 for them to put him on "most wanted" for this crime.
Able Danger is another long story and I'm not sure why anyone would expect the DOJ to act as intel- gathering or analyzing.
Several allies intel agencies warned Bush/Intel about upcoming 911 attack and he took no precautions-also see Aug 6, 2001 memo warning OBL wanted to strike in US, so I still don't get where this guy thinks DOJ acts as intel. Maybe Lance confuses Fitz with Miami Vice? ;-)(He did write for them!)

But I must call 'BS' on this quote
"understand what a disservice Feds like Cloonan and Fitzgerald did to this country "

That's quite a strong statement and I know I'd be pretty hot if someone said this about me-unless it was an idiot like Rummy or similar codger

CC: I hope all the viewers that Faux news lost saw KO;-)

KO said it so well...

"Mr. Rumsfeld is also personally confused, morally or intellectually, about his own standing in this matter. From Iraq to Katrina, to the entire "Fog of Fear" which continues to enveloppe this nation - he, Mr. Bush, Mr. Cheney, and their cronies, have - inadvertently or intentionally - profited and benefited, both personally, and politically."

Yeah spank the Rummy Dummy and his friends...the Baron, the Gerbil, the Turdblossom! Hey, this sounds like a new cartoon series for Batman!! LOL

Just sent a "thank you" the Keith Olbermann recognizing the fact that some in the mainstream media are waking up to the fact that they've supported this wacko for 5 years and it's about time they started speaking up.
The news yesterday that Faux News ratings have dropped 28% was de-lightful...and that CNN and MSNBC ratings are increasing exponentially.

Sorry, didn't have time to read "3 Shakespeares" recently - (think he could actually NAME 3 titles? Eventually he might be able to come up with "Romeo and Juliet" but I dont' believe "My Pet Goat" was written by "Old Will". We're still on the floor over him reading "Camus" ... as if!

We're off to Spain for 2 weeks tomorrow 0-dark-thirty...we chose a long time ago to go Business Class so I'm excited I get toothpaste courtesy of the airlines.

If I get a chance, I'll check in off and on - 2 weeks on the Mediterranean is looking real good right now.

You'all take care - behave yourselves!! And when I get home, I do expect something concrete to be done about that idiot Bush.

Enjoy this everyone...

Good morning everyone! Go Olbermann, that was awesome. A lot of people around here have been discussing this with me already this morning. Appears to have made quite an impact with some people, which is always a good start.

I probably missed this on the blog, because I haven't been around, but did anyone see the Gerbil at St. Louis Cathedral during the Katrina Mass? He looked bored out of his wits (what few he has)!

Then I came to the obvious realization. He doesn't need to participate in church services, and he looks bored because he has no soul. Everything made sense then.

Have a great day, Justice Bloggers!

Toothpaste? Wow! You lucky girl! Glad you're not sitting on the tarmac during the daytime heat!!

Have a great time in Spain and send me photos, when you can, ok?

Thanks for the article about Bush! :)

LMAO @ "He looked bored out of his wits (what few he has)!" and

I'm so jealous -- would love to go to Spain -- have a safe trip and lots of fun!!!

Peter Lance is trying to sell books...there may be some tidbits of truth to his story, but I smell some serious BS there too...only PJF would know the truth about the acusations against him...but I am highly sceptical

Respectfully 't', this news about Mr. Fitz has been out there for a long time (in other places). Being humble and not knowing much of anything, it is something that you tuck in the back of your mind, that and the support of the Patriot Act, which one can see on video.

Being fair, I do understand both sides of the Patriot Act...except I believe it was created to cover up crimes as much as to uncover crimes. The trouble with covering up crimes of leaders is that the next ones (or the ones that return to power) repeat these crimes even worse. I would think the American people not to mention the citizens of the world have had enough of this nonsense, don't you?

Thank you T. I appreciate the answer.

I am not familiar with the inner-workings of the DOJ so I wasn't sure where this guy was coming from.

Keith Olbermann is the man! The transcript has been posted and re-posted throughout the blogosphere!

Teak, I'm sure it has been out there for a while-but my focus has been the war and pre-war, so I missed it;-)
On the PA, I knew Fitz stand-but I'm sure he's been wrong before-granted not often. I disagree with Fitz and of course can back my arguments-it goes way too far and should be scrapped. If Fitz used any of it against this cabal-they would already be in lock down-so I am not convinced that he still fully supports it.
You got it-we are all fed up with the whole thing! I look forward to the day when regime change takes place-here in the USA;-)

Olbermann didn't just spank Rummy. He kicked Rummy to the curb and than some! Way to go Keith! And I love his quote by Edward R. Murrows which none of the journalists today are not on that man's callabor.. I am glad that Keith is sticking to the true word of journalism.. He should have said that Rummy needs to commited to a nursing home...

Rummy has stayed to long at the dance it's time to leave. Edward R. Murrow was a journalist who spoke to truth as did Olbermann. The truth hurts and corrupts are uncovered but as we stood strong in the past we will clean up this current mess.

Note to all:
Peaches is doing ok and hoping like her follow soldiers that Nov. election brings changes. She often ask about my friends on this blog and yes I always let her know that your praying for her and our troops. Thank you from both of us.

I'm happy he didn't say that, I would have choked on my dinner! LOL I was already shocked (happily shocked) that someone had the guts and brains to call Inspector Gadget out for being such a crappy Secretary of Defense.

Inspector Gadget: "Go Go Gadget Retirement Home"

Apprentice : "Sir, do I really Have to dig in the garbage again for scrap metal?"

Inspector Gadget: "You need to understand Gumshoe, it's simply a matter of physics."
