KW- Most of that is first time reading for me too-however, I have read about the case, ect and that was not the conclusion I came to about its relation to 911.
The FBI is on the record that there was not enough evidence connecting OBL to 911 for them to put him on "most wanted" for this crime.
Able Danger is another long story and I'm not sure why anyone would expect the DOJ to act as intel- gathering or analyzing.
Several allies intel agencies warned Bush/Intel about upcoming 911 attack and he took no precautions-also see Aug 6, 2001 memo warning OBL wanted to strike in US, so I still don't get where this guy thinks DOJ acts as intel. Maybe Lance confuses Fitz with Miami Vice? ;-)(He did write for them!)
But I must call 'BS' on this quote

The news yesterday that Faux News ratings have dropped 28% was de-lightful...and that CNN and MSNBC ratings are increasing exponentially.

Peter Lance is trying to sell books...there may be some tidbits of truth to his story, but I smell some serious BS there too...only PJF would know the truth about the acusations against him...but I am highly sceptical
Respectfully 't', this news about Mr. Fitz has been out there for a long time (in other places). Being humble and not knowing much of anything, it is something that you tuck in the back of your mind, that and the support of the Patriot Act, which one can see on video.
Being fair, I do understand both sides of the Patriot Act...except I believe it was created to cover up crimes as much as to uncover crimes. The trouble with covering up crimes of leaders is that the next ones (or the ones that return to power) repeat these crimes even worse. I would think the American people not to mention the citizens of the world have had enough of this nonsense, don't you?

Teak, I'm sure it has been out there for a while-but my focus has been the war and pre-war, so I missed it;-)
On the PA, I knew Fitz stand-but I'm sure he's been wrong before-granted not often. I disagree with Fitz and of course can back my arguments-it goes way too far and should be scrapped. If Fitz used any of it against this cabal-they would already be in lock down-so I am not convinced that he still fully supports it.
You got it-we are all fed up with the whole thing! I look forward to the day when regime change takes place-here in the USA;-)
Olbermann didn't just spank Rummy. He kicked Rummy to the curb and than some! Way to go Keith! And I love his quote by Edward R. Murrows which none of the journalists today are not on that man's callabor.. I am glad that Keith is sticking to the true word of journalism.. He should have said that Rummy needs to commited to a nursing home...
Rummy has stayed to long at the dance it's time to leave. Edward R. Murrow was a journalist who spoke to truth as did Olbermann. The truth hurts and corrupts are uncovered but as we stood strong in the past we will clean up this current mess.
