"Away Go Troubles Down The Drain..."
What My Victim President Should Do About Plamegate
"The gentle whooshing sound audible throughout the Greater Beltway is the deflating hopes of assorted journalists, Bush haters, and Democrat officials whose fantasies of frog marches and impeachment hearings are now dead.
Today, the Wall Street Journal excoriates Richard Armitage, Colin Powell, former Acting Attorney General James Comey and Patrick Fitzgerald in terms so strong they seem to have read my mind. The Wall Steert Journal recommends a presidential pardon for Scooter Libby. I would not go for a pardon, though.
If I had the President’s ear, here’s what I’d advise him to do about the conspiracy."<more>
Fess Up, Mr. Armitage
Time to put the Plame conspiracy to its final rest
"All of this matters because it also casts doubt on the thoroughness and fairness of special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald's probe that began in December 2003. The prosecutor never did indict anyone for leaking Ms. Plame's name, though this was supposedly the act of "treason" that triggered the political clamor for a probe. Instead, he has indicted Mr. Libby for perjury and obstruction of justice."
"Meantime, as he absorbs the partisan and ultimately trivial truth of this case, why shouldn't he pardon Mr. Libby and put the entire sorry saga to rest?" <more>
Ode to Scooter
Now that we know who to blame for the Plame game
Will the media stem the floods from that dam?
Or will they continue to inflame with the same claim
That the White House orchestrated this fantasy scam?
They have probably gone too far this time,
So silence will be the deafening sound
Of those whose disinterest will be sublime,
Whose complete ennui will fail to astound.
Scooter who? It will be very hard to recall
A name so forgetful, so yesterday.
The scandal is over after all,
Don’t let painful bygones get in the way.
The bad righting of Clarice Feldman, the Wall Street Journal and Mimi Evans Winship = the gentle whooshing sound audible throughout the Greater Beltway.

A crime was committed and one person was indicted by a grand jury not Patrick Fitzgerald. There is a sealed charge that the grand jury indicted. Now if Bush were to be stupid again and pardon Libby then the Americans will see that our court system doesn't have the power to act on a guilty person if he/she is a friend of the sitting President. As President Ford pardon Nixon for his past and future crimes our new King George will allow criminals that are his friends to be pardon for past/future crimes. Cunningham and Abramoff and Tom DeLay will be set free. Ken Lay can get his case dismissed and come out of hiding as he is faking his death. Let's see how the American people feel about criminals running free because King George has the power. Let's see how the courts react to the King George rule that is more powerful then the Supreme Court.
Wow! Really BAD righting! LOL
Anon it's late give me a break ok just read between the lines you get my point.
Have a good night
LOL, not you Jackie - the three pieces Fitz is citing! ;)
You write very intelligently and really well. In fact, in my opinion, the wise owl on this blog. :D
"ultimate trivial truth" OMG!!!!
Why they are mad as a hatter!
Clarice, you know what you look like to me, with your good bag and your cheap shoes? You look like a rube. A well scrubbed, hustling rube with a little taste. Good nutrition has given you some length of bone, but you're not more than one generation from poor white trash, are you, Feldman? And that accent you've tried so desperately to shed? Pure Beltway. What's your father, dear? Is he a Republican? Does he stink of the Elephant? You know how quickly the 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue boys found you... all those tedious sticky fumblings in the back seats of cars... while you could only dream of getting out... getting anywhere... getting all the way to the Wall Street Journal. Be gone with your lies...
Hannibal is speaking for me today (I could not resist)...
Oh the stinky spin is in high force...
We know our PJF Team, and we can wait for the hour...
Something just tells me that this is not the end of CIA/Plame Treason..
If it was Armitage, then why the lying and obstruction which points directly the smurf's boss Ambien ?
hee hee...More chum for Fitz to wade through...
P.S.
Does this mean that Sealed v. Sealed will go away ?
hee hee hee...
Fitz:
Bring them all to their knees!! :)
Does this mean that Sealed v. Sealed will go away ?

They only wish it would! They seem to have forgotten who they're dealing with! Fitz ALWAYS gets his man/men! :)
It looks as if the long knives are out for Fitzgerald when you put these articles together with the discrediting post by Peter Lance which appeared in HuffPo a couple of days ago. Either that or Fitz is willing to fall on an awfully long knife. I always thought Bush would pardon Libby after the election, but now I'm gambling that he does it before. If the Dems take control of the House and John Conyers wants to hold hearings on the Plame Case, Bush (Rove, whatever)would then argue that there was no need for hearings, that all had been settled.
Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening folks!
Happy Thursday!
To put it bluntly: blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah....
Every since media has a spin on the Armitage confession and about the little soldier!!! I find it amazing on the article about Scooter how there is a spin about Scooter possible being pardon by Gerbil. Now how can the Gerbil pardon anyone in the leak case when he was indirectly involved in the matter. A crook pardoning a crook!!! The media is trying to make of grounds with the public after getting pie in the face in the Jon Benet's suspect, Kerr! We all know that the many of the media are saying that they want to put the leak case to reest because the Administration wants it to reat.. It is a distraction in their hidden agenda.. And the Administration nor the media do not want to discuss the sealed vs. sealed documents.. There are too many crooks all connected to the Gerbil and his hidden agenda for the Geril to pardon.. Otherwise, he would empty out about 90% of Congress...
Roto-Rooter. That's the name. HA!
