I have seen Spike Lee's documentary yet.. Unfortunately, I don't carry cable.. I have someone that will be taping the documentary.. Most likely I will watch it over the weekend... From the few people that I spoke with about Spike's film, they told me that it brought them to tears and they were angry or slow rescue by FEMA and the Gerbil... What pisses me off is that the Gerbil-in-chief has not talked about remembering Hurricane Katrina. All we get from the incompetent ass is the preparation of the 9/11 rememberance.. Not knocking September 11. But, both 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina changed our lived forever. And those events should be remembered.

Cheney said the issue had to be addressed by increasing the supply of energy.

Lawrence Korb: Strategic Redeployment in Iraq

I have been to Topeka and it was an unpleasant experience! I was with some of my family, who are NHRA Racers, and we were there for a huge race one summer...
The hotel we stayed at seemed nice and secure. However, we awoke to find we had been robbed! They broke into our vehicles and several others, as well and they stole everything they could get their slimy hands on!!

Hmmm. I remember seeing an article awhile ago talking about how they needed to split these gang leaders up in prisons in California. The plan was to send them to different prisons. Come to find out, the gangs had a code (in artwork, I think) they used to send out the orders they wanted done. Good morning, Great posts as usual. well, that certainly isn't happening with our press. So if corporations of certain like minded people buy up or drive others out of business, they control it. Add blackmail, pay-offs, bullying and there we have it. Things evolve over time. Like Bush's treatment of reporters with a nickname , interrupting them, embarrassing, bullying....it is like the drunk abusing the family. Sooner or later, everyone learns their roles in the family...you do not get out of your role or 'else'.
Survivors see through this bullshit for what it is and know that covering up for people like this is enabling them to do more. You take away the dignity of breaking cycles for future generations, in effect...committing murder of the mind, body and soul (literally nowadays.)
There are millions of people, IMHO, watching this play out across the world. I hope certain people that think they might know everything or are embarrassed by the past events that might try to rewrite history...it doesn't work, does it? Nor does it promote healing and empathy. You sometimes cannot understand what is happening now unless you understand the past generations with an open mind to help break the cycles for our future, our children. They deserve it, not the insanity of fear (terror) that we heap on them daily.
