Enron's Skilling & Lay Have Met Their Match...

Skilling to squirm in Enron trial on Monday

FYI, I recruited a young 37 year old trial lawyer last year to head up the Enron Task Force because Sean Berkowitz is a gifted individual and was the right man for the job. To date I could not be more proud. He reminds me of a young me and is doing a stellar job along with Kathryn H. Ruemmler, John C. Hueston and Cliff Stricklin in prosecuting the poster children of the era of corporate scandal.

Sean understands rocket science, but he speaks plain English which made him the perfect choice to prosecute this complex case. Most recently, I was very impressed with how he wore down and put Ken Lay's seasoned (and uber-expensive lawyer), John Ramsey in the hospital!

"I really regret missing parts of Ken Lay's trial," lawyer Michael Ramsey told the press in a telephone interview from his hospital bed Tuesday. "It's the first time in my career I've missed court because of health problems."

"Health problems," my Irish a**! Sure John, my advice to you is to stay in your Hospital bed, watch ESPN, Fox News and American Idol and keep healthy. This team of Government Prosecutors are "ambitious, driven and accustomed to winning," but more importantly all about protecting Truth, Justice and The American Way AND out for blood!

If Sean Berkowitz is anything like you, Skilling and Lay will probably wish they had never been born!
Skilling and Lay will be going down big time.

Well, all I say is that Berkowitz and the entire Enron Task team are doing an outstanding job on the Enron case. I have followed the Enron case from day one from the WSJ. Lay and Skillings' lawyer doesn't have a prayer to exonerate Lay and Skillings. A huge blow to Lay and Skillings was the testimonies of Fastow and the whistleblower. And both knuckleheads tried to use the Gilligan defense on why they were unaware of the Enron collapse. I read the transcript by their lawyers and died laughing. This is the same defense that the little soldier tried to use. Same strategy but different cases. I look forward for Berkowitz and team to convict both Lay and Skilling. Lay and Skilling are a disgrace to mankind of what they did to the employees, companies, individuals, and shareholders to their stocks. Berkowitz and team rocks! Look forward to following the outcome of the Enron Trial!

Thanks for letting us know another good Proscutor. Not much is given on the news about the Eron case. Its nice that you give support to others that you work with. Much is given to those that give. Looks like his case is going great. Oh and you called him young nice. At lease now when you say your leaving for the weekend I wont believe it anymore you work to much.

I think he's one of the greats personally, and he's dedicated to the truth and justice.

I know Mr. Berkowitz says he's not cut out for this job- but I say, don't be so modest!

He's a diehard at what he does and helped get those "deleted" emails, with the nosy assistance of Wayne Madsen.

These guys just might save the world, so I give any prosecutor working with you the utmost respect and thanks.

Just read in a Swedish newspaper that North Korea is threatening with a preventive attack against USA. Their defense minister states that USA isn't the only country that has the right to "preventive attacks" and maintains that USAs government is secretly planning an attack against their country. North Korea will not sit and wait for this to happen. They also have nuclear weapons.

He ]and Dick Cheney] are truly, mad if they believe that Iran will NOT solicit help/aid/materiele from Syria, Russia and N Korea...and those little things called 'nukes'.

Just disturbingly mad . . no other explanation for it.
