Bush At Center of Intelligence Leak..?

The CIL?
"Attorneys and current and former White House officials close to the investigation into the leak of covert CIA operative Valerie Plame Wilson said Thursday that President Bush gave Vice President Dick Cheney the authorization in mid-June 2003 to disclose a portion of the highly sensitive National Intelligence Estimate to Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward and former New York Times reporter Judith Miller.
These current and former White House officials are among the 36 witnesses who have testified before a grand jury and have been cooperating with the special counsel's probe since its inception.
The officials, some of whom are attorneys close to the case, added that more than two dozen emails that the vice president's office said it recently discovered and handed over to leak investigators in February show that President Bush was kept up to date about the circumstances surrounding the effort to discredit former Ambassador Joseph Wilson.
The sources indicated that the leak probe is now winding down, and that soon, new information will emerge from the special counsel's office that will prove President Bush had prior knowledge of the White House campaign to discredit Plame Wilson's husband, former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, who accused the administration of "twisting" intelligence on the Iraqi threat in order to win public support for the war." Bush is born again and wouldn't lie. The higher power is watching over him. President Bush has never lied about anything. Now back to reality. By using religion was the first mistake and the second is look for God to handle that. Now all the do gooders and religious nuts can look to see what happens when you sin against God. Dr. Evil all the prayers wont help with this one. The lies and lost of life by young troops will be a heavy price to pay. We the American people let it happen and we could have stopped it but we didn't.

when I first read this some time ago:

President Bush, 6/10/04:
Reporter: "Do you stand by your pledge to fire anyone found to have done so?"
President Bush: "Yes. And that's up to the U.S. Attorney to find the facts."

That last quote is what will sink him.

During the XMAS fun-fest blogging of the indictments for Libby, I mentioned the expression on Bush's face during those infamous 16 words in the State of the Union address, demonstrated he was lying.

All I can say is,

I calls it likes I sees it.

So, PJF: he should be charged with deliberately misleading a FEDERAL INVESTIGATION.

NOT THE INVESTIGATION OF A NAVEL which is how he will play it down/spin it around.

His other words, quotations about firing ANYONE OF THOSE LEAKERS and assorted other 'choice bits' prove
he is deliberately engaging in deception, treason, high crimes and misdemeanors
NOT
plausible deniability about wilson, yellow cake and various other tidbits.

he had better plan to live in Siberia when he leaves office.

He most certainly is depised.

What will Granpa Alberto tell his grandkids regarding his role in permitting torture, and that pesky 12-hour window he gave his "clients" to possibly shred evidence?

He'll be dismissed when Justice says so.

Granpa Gonzo? That's too funny. But, hey that works! Great picture. All of the Gerbil'R Us and gang have to live with and sleep with one eye open with the lies and deception to the American people and the unneccessary deaths and injuries to the American people and Iraqs citizens and unjust rights of the detainees forever. For what? All in the name of money, money, money, power, power, power!

THE PRESIDENT: Okay, yes, very good. (Laughter and applause.) Good move.

Q You never stop talking about freedom, and I appreciate that. But while I listen to you talk about freedom, I see you assert your right to tap my telephone, to arrest me and hold me without charges, to try to preclude me from breathing clean air and drinking clean water and eating safe food. If I were a woman, you'd like to restrict my opportunity to make a choice and decision about whether I can abort a pregnancy on my own behalf. You are --

THE PRESIDENT: I'm not your favorite guy. Go ahead. (Laughter and applause.) Go on, what's your question?

Q Okay, I don't have a question. What I wanted to say to you is that I -- in my lifetime, I have never felt more ashamed of, nor more frightened by my leadership in Washington, including the presidency, by the Senate, and --

AUDIENCE MEMBERS: Booo!

THE PRESIDENT: No, wait a sec -- let him speak.

Q And I would hope -- I feel like despite your rhetoric, that compassion and common sense have been left far behind during your administration, and I would hope from time to time that you have the humility and the grace to be ashamed of yourself inside yourself. And I also want to say I really appreciate the courtesy of allowing me to speak what I'm saying to you right now. That is part of what this country is about.

Stephen,

I agree that AG is cancer but so it the entire Gerbil Administration. We need to remove the cancer from the entire Administration before it spreads too much.

e,

The little soldier know that he doesn't have a case. He tried to Greymail strategy, the Gilligan Defense, pointed the finger to Cheney, blame game of the CIA employees, blame game of the State Dept, removing Fitz from the case as so on. He sees that the Administration is not helping him. He sees that the entire Administration are fighting one another, bailing out on one another, and pointing the finger at one another. You see the changes within the Administration thanks to the Gerbil. And how quickly no one is taking abougt Rove? Remember, Rove turned over email information to Fitz. You can see that Rove is not going down with the rest the nimrods. In Libby's eyes, the only way that he feels that he can beat this rap is to point the finger the President. He knows that the President's popularity has gone down, Feingold and the American people are spearheading to censor Bush, more scandals of the Administration points back to the Bush, etc. So, why not put the blame on Bush. Libby saw exactly what he was worth to the Administration by their actions. Of, course, he doesn't want to go down with any of the players. But, still fact remains, Libby seems to forget that he is charged with obstruction of justice and lying to the investigator. He just playing cat and mouse game with Fitz to who leak the name. Bottom line: Libby is charged with obstruction of justice! He is going down with the rest of them!

Remember our conversation not long ago about removing all from office and voting for a new administration, for the first time in this country's history? What did you say that was called?

5:22 PM
Blogger SP Biloxi said...

No, Rove is not off the hook! He may have turned in the emails to Fitz. But, you know it is not from the kindness of his heart. He doesn't want to go down with the rest of them. Remember, Fitz knew the leaker from the beginning. And since Fitz knew, I think that he wanted to see what each one of the player will say and do. The real question is did Rove lie to Fitz under oath? And see, Rove and gang did know what Fitz knew already. So, Rove, Cheney, and the Gerbil may just hang themselves. And I ma sure that Fitz will be combing through all the players interviews with him, compare notes, and see any inconsistences in all of their statements. I will bet that Fitz will!

On side note: Fitx already said that he was building a timeline on Libby. What make you think that there is timeline with everyone of these players, who, what, how, and why from each player that Fitz has or is creating?

S-Q,

I said that we would have to hold for the first time in history a national election for a President. With all of the lastest scandal, There is no way that a President from the list that I posted from Fitz's posting "Getting Warmer" would be selected. Here is the list again:

Anyway, to answer your question on the order in line for POTUS? Here you go:

1. Vice President: Cheney
2. Speaker of The House: Hastert
3. Secretary of State - Condi*
4. Secretary of the Treasury – John Snow
5. Secretary of Defense - Rummy
6. Attorney General - Gonzales*
7. Secretary of the Interior - Gale Norton
8. Secretary of Agriculture - Mike Johanns *
9. Secretary of Commerce – Carlos Guttierrez *
10. Secretary of Health and Human Services - Elaine Chao
11. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development - Alphonso Jackson
12. Secretary of Transportation - Norman Mineta
13. Secretary of Energy - Samuel Bodman *
14. Secretary of Education - Margaret Spellings
15. Secretary of Veterans Affairs - Jim Nicholson *
16. Secretary of Homeland Security - Michael Chertoff *

* means that these people are new kids on the block or on the job training. They were replaced by the Bush's original 9 cabinet members that bailed out.

Up to date: Some of those cabinet members bailed out recently, under investigation, or on their way out!

CHECKMATE!

Or should we call it, "fitzmate"

=D

Special Prosecutor Biloxi, they will have to put up air-guards in this administrations building and all over the Capitol.

Just to air out the enormous neocon stench. There won't be anyone going back in the hazardous zone, for at least 48 hours and once they put on special gear!

Clearly Bush knew as did Cheney. Time for the Grand Jury to indict the officials and move on to the last leg of the game....

I say indict Gonzales if he does not stop breaking his own laws and stonewalling the NSA wiretapping!
