Hi folks,

A little of topic but;

I don’t know about the rest of you but I found myself caught up in watching the Paralympics. Why does the world stop watching as soon as the ‘normal’ athletes leave the scene? Those people have so much more courage, discipline and are truly amazing. They are the real stars of what is referred to as the Olympic Spirit, so turn on your TV’s - the Winter Games are still on!

I would be happy with Scooter, Cheney and Rove, no more, no less. It is doubtful that Fitz goes for more than 2 or 3 indictments.

If he does....it would be nice to have one of those Italian Mafia style trials where 20 people or so are in a cage in court. :D

WOW backward WOW All these people are withiin the inter circle of King George so it makes sence. No wonder you can't get an honest answer. For one Scott would lie through this teeth as has done so many times. You and your staff have a really hard nut to crack. I hope the Judge understands this and lets you do what you have to do. I noticed Powell's name isn't in the group is that why he left? Well their robbing us blind before you lower the hammer anyway. In a way it shows their leaving even Cheney is begging for money was he packs his things.

Ola SPB,

There's a featured post of Clooney on Huffington Post

"We have to agree that it's not unpatriotic to hold our leaders accountable and to speak out."

Clooney – I’m a liberal. There I said it!

From WP-Judge Unexpectedly Recesses Moussaoui Trial
U.S. District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema called it "the most egregious violation of the court's rules on witnesses'' she had seen "in all the years I've been on the bench.''

That is Gonzo's brand of "justice" for you...I want even accused terrorists to have a fair trial. He just wants to justify the Patriot Act-if this case falls, add it to the list of PA failures.
You know, I am so convinced of the American system of justice, I even want the Bush admin to get a fair trial-p HURRY-Waiting on Checkmate...

I find another planet to live on! You certainly would make a better Press secretary than the buffoon Scotty McClellan!

anon at 12:18 pm,

I did read about Moussaoui. Looks like Bush violated this man;s constitutional rights.
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - An angry federal judge considered Monday whether to dismiss the government's death penalty case against confessed al-Qaida conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui after a federal attorney coached witnesses in violation of her rules.

The Bush Administration is aking the public to stock up on tuna and milk in case of the birdflu. Everyone on this blog head out to Kmart's bluelight special for the 10 dented cans of tuna for a $1.00:

Planning for a possible flu pandemic shouldn't be just a government task but should be a priority for all households and businesses, officials said at a statewide summit Friday.

"When you go to the store and buy three cans of tuna fish, buy a fourth and put it under the bed," Health and Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt said. "When you go to the store to buy some milk, pick up a box of powdered milk, put it under the bed. When you do that for a period of four to six months, you are going to have a couple of weeks of food. And that's what we're talking about."

If the bird flu now spreading around the world ever mutates into a flu pandemic strain that spreads easily from human to human, no state or community would be immune, Leavitt said.

And let's not forgot that Rummy profited 5 million dollars! This is such a joke!

Uh yet another lame try to keep people busy and not look at the political f...-ups

There're already several medications out there to battle bird flu.

It's really only up to governments to prepare and stock pile it but looking at the Katrina mess, maybe you all should head out and stock up

Waterflake,

This government is not going to stock up with birdflu. Why do you think Rummy and other Bush's friends are making a profit from the company who supplies the birdflu. This is just a scare for people to buy into the birdflu, make the pharmacutial companies like Merck, Pfizer, etc, wealthy, make the Bush Administration profit, have the American people pay money out of their pocket (because I am sure there is no co-payment for this drug) for this birdflu with or without insurance. This is all propaganda!
