Just Who Is "Hit Man" Karl Rove..?
WARNING: It is not pretty.
Riddle me this: Why would President Bush employ a Brain Bug of such dubious character? A protoge of Donald Segretti the Watergate "rat f*cker" no less, Karl has a track record of his own illegal break-ins, dirty tricks and falsification of documents - Karl Rove was part of the team that was supposed to bring back respect and integrity to the White House?
- Early life and political experiences -
Karl Christian Rove was raised in Colorado and Nevada. His family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah when Rove was in high school. At Olympus High School, Rove began his involvement in politics in 1968: In a 2002 Deseret News interview, Rove explained, "I was the Olympus High chairman for (former United States Senator) Wallace F. Bennett's re-election campaign, where he was opposed by the dynamic, young, aggressive political science professor at the University of Utah, J.D. Williams."[1] Williams then took Rove under his wing, leading to Rove's internship with the Utah Republican Party.
According to a 2003 New Yorker profile, Rove, the second of five children, found out at nineteen (during his parents' divorce negotiations) that the man who raised him was not his biological father. Rove's mother would later commit suicide (in Reno, Nevada in 1981).[2]
In 1970, at the age of nineteen and while a protege of Donald Segretti (later convicted as a Watergate conspirator), Rove sneaked into the campaign office of Illinois Democrat Alan Dixon and stole some letterhead, which he used to print fake campaign rally fliers promising "free beer, free food, girls and a good time for nothing," and distributed them at rock concerts and homeless shelters. Admitting to the incident much later, Rove said, "I was nineteen and I got involved in a political prank." (The Nation).
Rove dropped out of the University of Utah in 1971 to become the Executive Director of the College Republican National Committee and held this position until 1972 when he became their National Chairman (1973-1974). As Chairman, Rove had access to many powerful politicians and government officials of the Republican party, and formed ties with George H. W. Bush, then Chairman of the Republican National Committee (1973-1974) -

Interesting stuff about the rise in power of Karl Rove. Interesting how he was the mastermind in the destruction of 2000 primary election between Bush and McCain: "allegations were made that Rove was responsible for a 'push poll' conducted in South Carolina, that used racist innuendo intended to undermine the support of Bush." And also the Novmeber 2000 in Florida, Rove "organized an emergency response of Republican politicians and supporters to go to Florida to assist the Bush campaign's position during the Florida recount." Rove is a driven person and driven by power. But, every person driven by power has a weakness. Fitz, I am sure that you will find that weakness in him. As I said, Rove is much stronger than Cheney. Cheney is strong in the finance and business. Rove is strong as an architect and the blueprint in Administration. With both of their inner fighting for power in the Administration, that is why both are turning on each other. Right now, it is every person for themselves in the Administration.

I see you brought back that posting and you correct your profanity word. You don't want Ms. Jackie to scold you on your language. But, instead of "rat", it should have been "fat" and the other word was right about him! Rove is piece of work and his nickname serves him right. I am confident that Rove will get his. And when you do indict him: STICK IT TO THE MAN! Someone like him who do harm with malice like he has done to the American people doesn't get or deserve any sympathy!

PBS's FRONTLINE did a feature on Karl Rove that you can still watch online. Karl doesn't attack his victim's weaknesses, he attacks their strenghts (Swift Boaters to John Kerry).
I always wondered how all these narcissistic people hooked up and how they co-existed...not well, apparently when a sane person (Fitz) outsmarts them. Be careful, narcissists are some dangerous people when they are losing control.

Rove's life is like a movie. Young man hooks up with the watergate crook and then teams up with the Bush family. Trying to be part of the rich group and the choices he made now he'll have to pay. This is the making of a good movie. As for Steven/Stephen I'll still in shock with the name change but then again its no more of a shocker then watching Strom Thurmond for so many years then to find out he had and cared for a Black daughter. I guess we really see that some people aren't what they seem to be. As for Bush and Paris video well thats Hollywood for you.

Fitzie, I don't know you but you are a wonderful person. I just want to get that out of the way. Now, for those of you who think this site is a fake....it's not a fake. It's the real thing. The past few months, I have developed a friendship with Fitzie's cousin in Ireland and he says this site is the real deal. And if you don't believe me, I'll only give you the front alphabet of his cousin's first name...and that is a G.
And if any of you ladies come here to try and snatch a date with Fitzie, forget about it. He has a girlfriend in the states in Chicago and he also has one waiting patiently for him to pop the question in Ireland. I shouldn't be telling you all this but I figure posting this anonymously on a blog. . . . it wouldn't get back to the people involved. This is the world wide web, after all.

I just read the entire profile of Rove in the Wikipedia. I can see why there is a strong connection between Rove and Bush and why Rove is Bush's brain. Even though Rove came from the wrong side of the tracks and build his career by simply being the politcal circles and Bush came from a family with a silver spoon in his mouth, they both share something in common: both have a need of importance. Bush tries to please his father and never accomplished anything in life. Rove who came from a broken home had a need for accomplishment and decided to live in a different world in which he grew up in. Yet, with Rove's influence through the circle of friends, Rove provided that need for accomplishment for Bush. They might come from different backgrounds and class but they share that need for accomplishment and sphere of influence in the poltical world.
Holy smokes Batman! It just keeps getting better minute by minute.

Biloxi is a rookie lawyer, there's alot of DOJ newbies who come here.
Sometimes the facts of a case are more complex than one would like, that's why you need a breather once in a while. Good way to let loose & figure out new strategies!

I only happened to come across this blog by accident, what a find! I have only told one person and asked their opinion of this blog and if it was real (giving it kudos first hand of course). She thought it was 'great blog, very fancy' but no way is it Fitzgerald's. She referred to some kid having to do all this work on it! Ha! (Must be why it is light years ahead of their postings, too bad she passed on actually learning something.)
