By The Book..BY THE BOOK..!

Damn it! Or you are just as guilty as those you are prosecuting.

Good to see Andrew Lourie is hard at work trying to fill the big shoes left behind by Noel Hillman in the DOJ's Public Integrity Section. Keep your nose clean, Andy. I am watching you. Seriously!

Another one bites the dust! When people separate themselves from the mass (meaning the people who fall prey to corruption like ex-prosecutor, Convertino), you know that you are the only appreciated and respected for honesty and integrity. People like Convertino sold their soul to the devil. And there are prosecutors, such as yourself that are unbrought. Laurie will be watched since he was replaced by Hillman (And Hillman is another story. I won't go there!) along with upcoming prosecutors! My motto is "action speaking louder than words. You have to show me before I can believe you."

Switching gears:

Coming to Las Vegas Convention on June 8-11, 2006:

From Firedoglake:

Announcing Yearly Kos Panel on CIA Leak Investigation

"I’m very excited to announce that on June 9, 2006 we’ll be having a panel at the Yearly Kos convention to discuss the CIA leak investigation. I’ll be moderating, and the panel members will be:
. Christy Hardin Smith, former prosecutor and blogger at Firedoglake
. Ambassador Joseph Wilson, husband of Valerie Plame and author of The Politics of Truth.
. Marcy Wheeler, who blogs as "emptywheel" at The Next Hurrah
. Larry Johnson, former CIA official and blogger at No Quarter
. Dan Froomkin, whose column "White House Briefing" appears at the washingtonpost.com
We will be discussing how the actions taken by Joe Wilson to tell the truth about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq lead to the exposing of his wife, CIA agent Valerie Plame. We’ll focus on the subsequent investigation by the Justice Department and Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald. We’ll be discussing the actions of the Bush Administration, the indictment of Scooter Libby, and the integral role played by journalists and the media."

And yes, you will are in discussion at this event. I just wish that I was a fly on the wall to hear Joe Wilson's discussion!

Joe Wilson doesn't mince any words that is for sure! And he is not afraid of the Three Stooges either.

Mr. Fitz, I don't how you can stand to be around the likes of Gonzo. He makes my stomach turn after watching the hearings, he is a disgrace to justice.

I waa reading on Thinkprogress.org on why Bolten wants Snow replaced. Well, Dennis Hastert played a major role of wanting Snow out. For instance, Hastert was irrtiated by Snow's discussions of the ecomomy: "The grousing about Mr. Snow was so loud that even Democratic Congressional aides were aware that the Hastert had complained to Mr. Card and Mr. Bartlett that the administration needed to be more aggressive in talking about the economy." Yet, Hastert was the same person who 'sealed the fate' of the first Bush Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill." However, Hastert and Bolten get along so well. Makes you wonder about the buddy bubby thing. The conservatives want a new Treasury Secretary to “reassure financial markets.” In order words, fluff the numbers... Keep your eyes and ears open for Snow if he comes knocking at your door for info if he is tossed out like rag by Bolten.

I live in Southern California in an agricultural community that borders Mexico. We have a very serious problem with illegal immigration here. The Border Patrol does their best, but they are outnumbered. What I would like to see more of, is the prosecution of those who smuggle the aliens. Many of people have died on our highways from smugglers with no regard to the law trying to evade the Border Patrol or California Highway Patrol and kill people in head on collisions. The smugglers will risk everything to get what they want with no regard to life.
Each week, our local water utility along with the local Sheriff's dive team retrieve a least 1 person a week from our local canals who have perished trying to come across. Hundreds have died crossing our deserts where the temps are at least 116 in the summer. Our Congressmen and
representatives both on the State and Federal levels are not doing nearly enough to combat this problem of illegal immigration. Our local hospital is suffering financial difficulties in treating these people. It has strained the local EMS services and police. It is easy to say things of support to illegal immigration but try living around it 24/7 and alot will agree with me. It has to stop, and the time is the present.
People are paying smugglers into the thousands to come across, why can't they use the funds to do it the right way and obtain the necessary paperwork? Please don't get me wrong, as I do feel for these people's plight, but there has to be an end or at least a good resolution to combat the problem.
On a more positive note,I really wholeheartedly appreciate Fitz and his entire staff for what they do. Even though I am not one of his original flygirls, sometimes I wish I was. We need more people like him out there in the world.
God bless him and everything he does.

Fitz, SPB, and All,

Some guy just posted on another website that this blog/site is a fake. He claims that he emailed the DOJ and they said it would be unethical for a govt appointed employee to make such comments.

Please clarify this for me.

Like the DOJ has time to reply to emails from trolls? Oh yeah, Bush just emailed me in my inquiry as to whether or not he knew there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq - his reply was that it would be unethical for him to tell me the turth. ;)

laughable, that someone would insinuate from the Oval, DOJ or elsewhere about an appointee having a blog that doesn't offer lies.

interesting. fabulous.

perhaps we should just take note from the idiot named Commander-in-Chief and post lies, lies and more lies?

yike. we may leave that to Scotty and the Oval Idiots.

come on!

S-Q,

A side note: No one from the government is saying anything of the Gerbil being a blogger! If the President of the United States (a moron) can blog on the Washington Post and the National Review without that being illegal, I don't think th peole who developed a website and/or blog like Fitzgerald, John Kerry, Howard Dean, The Little Soldier. Tom Delay, Kenneth Lay, Prosecutor Ronnie Earle, John Edwards, The Gerbil, etc. wouldn’t be in violation. The internet has been known for freedom of speech. Fitzgerald doesn't make one penny from this blog and neither of the people that I mentioned. Ask Libby why he is soliciting money from the public from his website!

S-Q,

Sounds like another jealous troll spouting nonsense from the rafters. Maybe its neocon Moschella who is still at the DOJ?

After all, I've talked to them myself and this place is in fact real. If it wasn't, someone would shut it down and you know how!

By the way its good to know you are keeping an eye on Lourie! Fitz, if there was an entire army out there like you we wouldn't have this crazy Washington D.C. we do today!

What a pit out of the rock, I would give anything to have a graft free washington D.C.!!!

Lets go get 'em off the Abramoff block o' shock!
