Just say "No thank you!" to graft.

The Fed comment is true. We have to look back only to see that things and values have changed. So much has gone such as an honest days work for an honest days pay. The light of hope is still there with people like Fitz, his staff and people on this blog. Americans have to take back America. The root of this country is still here just the bad seeds have come out again with the help of honest leaders the rats will go back to hide for another time. So is the cirle of life.

Former fed,
Thanks for the reminder that not every government employee breaks the law and then rationalizes it as acceptable behavior.

The ones who do are no more than common crooks, albeit in high places, but as Willie Sutton said, it's where the money is. A better suit does not a better person make.

I too am a retired government employee. Over the years I went the extra mile to make sure everything was above board. In this political atmosphere, however, I fear for all honest employees. There is nothing the corrupt politicians in the current political climate wouldn't do to protect themselves. Fitz, you are in my prayers.

Former Fed is right. Our values have tremendously changed. We need those core values back. Yes, the government needs a major cleanup!

This is too funny not to pass along. Want to know what is happen to the man who running for President, Dr. Quack Frist. Talk about lack of leadership. He hasn't bee nominated for President and showing himself as an idiot from the get go. From Americablog:

"Yesterday, Frist tried to pull of an event for an immigration group and the press to make himself appear more balanced on the immigration issue. In fact, he's been one of the anti-immigrant leaders in Congress. But we heard a great story about how a funny thing happened on the way to Frist's event: Congressman Joe Crowley showed up and took it over.

Even though Frist's office arranged the event in the Capitol yesterday, Frist didn't show. He sent a staffer to brief the group and the press that showed up (including Telemundo, Univision, and Telivisa, and the newspaper Hoy.)

Crowley was actually the only lawmaker who showed up. His view on immigration is the polar opposite of where Bill Frist stands."

Frist, next do what you said and, for goodness sake, SHOW UP!

Thank you 'former fed' and Mr. Fitzgerald,-- (I'm probably the same age as you!) for having decent, honest values. I'm glad my mother and grandmother have passed on, although they would have followed these cases. Their poor hearts probably could not have taken this corruption.

I tell my kids--20, 18, and 16 years old--without your character and values...you are nothing and that only you can allow it to be taken.

Keep acting on them those straightforward and honest efforts.

One good leader is all it takes right now-you have the support of not just this gang, but millions of Americans :-)

A salute to our former prosecutor!

All it takes is one fire in a dark silent land to light a hurricaine.

As a bonus, every elected congressman or woman who took dirty Abramoff money can buy a T-shirt!

"I LOVE GRAFT!" It would go so nice on those picture frames! :-D
