Not too smart? People are not going to be happy reading how the Director of Intelligence has been living like luxury on the taxpayer's money and still collecting a paycheck. Tom Ridge, ex-director of Homeland Security was certainly living off the hog when he was in Hawaii on a business trip. There was a special on the 20/20 show exposing the lavish and bogus business meeting with Tom Ridge in Hawaii. Ridge did more socializing on that trip than business. And a lot of wasted money was spent on that trip. And still, it was the taxpayer's money.

Reported on NBC news , FEMA wasted 900 million dollars on mobile homes. Those mobile homes were supposed to be for the Katrina victims. Not one of thosemobile homes is being occupied by the victims. Those mobile homes had been sitting there for months. Again, wasted money!

This is not smart for President to boast to the public on how great the economy is when his base is living off the hog on taxpayers' money while collecting a check and when Americans are losing their jobs (10,000 jobs will be lost to Bell South with the merger of AT&T), have no healthcare, homeless due to the economy or hurricanes, huge deficit, huge credit card debt, etc. Need I say more?

Fitz,

I hope you start digging into Libby's two positions and salary and his performance evaluations. Since Libby is claiming memory loss syndrome, how did Libby functioned in those two positions. and did Libby live a life style like the Director of Intelligence and Bush's base off the taxpayer's money while collecting a check?

So Negroponte needs a "comfort zone" because he has such a "tough job"?
This is ridiculous.
May he choke on his next steak dinner..

And this is why we are so much in a deficit. It is so bad that guess where the Snow is tapping into:

ECONOMY -- BUSH ADMINISTRATION MAXES OUT FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S CREDIT CARD: Treasury Secretary John Snow notified Congress yesterday that the administration had taken "all prudent and legal actions" to keep from hitting the $8.2 trillion national debt limit. In urging Congress to raise the debt ceiling, Snow said the Treasury had already hit a crisis point because it had exhausted the $15 billion Exchange Stabilization Fund and is now tapping the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund which should provide a "few billion" dollars in extra borrowing money.

Can the little soldier's defense hurt Bush? Here is the latest of the CIA leak case:

CIA says Libby defense could disrupt intelligence

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The

"CIA would have a hard time advising President George W. Bush on security threats if a judge forced it to provide all documents sought by a former vice presidential aide accused of perjury, the agency said in a court filing made public on Tuesday."

Love to see those taxpayer dollars hard at work!

Whilst enjoying massages, cigars, etc., how much is the club fees costing the American taxpayer whilst we are unable to provide
appropriate gear and armor for the guys on the FRONT LINE?

Insidious. Diabolical. He should lay under a pregnant ant and be eaten by a cockroach, and thats just for starters.

Well its great to be a friend of George Bush that way you get a job and don't have to work. Now we know why Iraq is going into Civil War. I wonder how much this is costing the taxpayers now that we have an 8 trillion dollar deficit. If we stay the coarse the US will have a 12 trillion dollar deficit by the end of the Bush term. As now his spending the social security money for what ever he wants to.
