Still Busy...

BUT good busy!

I feel like an overworked Santa meeting this self-imposed year end deadline.

Forget the gym, I am losing weight the old fashioned way - no food and little sleep. ;)

To keep abreast of the news, most of which continues to be somewhat accurate as of late - go here, here and here.

The credibility of journalists and politicians leaves most of us watching the progress of this investigation with some hope that there will be a wake-up call to those contemplating future treasonist acts. I wrote on your snake origami post that you might be the "St. Paddy of DC"...running the snakes out of the Capitol. Hope it's so.

Maybe if you finish this by the end of the year...you can take on Diebold. Wishful thinking. Still makes me furious that so many votes were likely stolen.

Mr. Fitzgerald,

Please take care of yourself. Don't get too ragged down. I could come down to DC from Baltimore area and give you a nice bottle of Italian wine which would help you relax and get rid of all that stress after this is over :)

PJF: fine stuff-

Now, I seem to recall another White House official, yes, the very same that sits in the lauded Oval chair, who gave the appearance on CNN that he would 'fire' anyone involved in the leak.

By knowing whom was the leaker, does he not himself indicate he should be fired as well?

Is there a case you are able to build on deliberately misleading the public, just on that very statement?

Its really an outrage, this has just continued under some 'cloud' of ...'I did not know whom'...

BS BS BS BS BS

What is really outrageous is that they've gotten away with so much and Fitz IS like David hitting Goliath with perfect aim.....

(Okay, Fitz, you're like Michelangelo's David too, which seems to have gotten some bloggers eager to get you nice and relaxed, but I digress)

Fitz is reigning this crisis back in to a point where it seems we might get control again. I hope! But that it has gotten to this point is really scary. And without Fitz, it would have gotten worse. Why are we all basically so helpless and powerless in this situation?

God bless you and keep up the pressure.Lots of folks are depending on you, among which are many Military Families.

So keep on punching and take some of these people out.

Make """I do solemnly swear that I will ... .. protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. So help me God," mean something again.

And happy holidays to you and yours.

I read your information. Well tell me something I don't know. These guys are late for dinner, your bloggers already knew what they all news. Rove is boxed in. Bush did the same as Nixon, he told them to do it. Now as for the journalist comments on you. Thanks for letting us know who you are, boy are they wrong. Oh your picture looked good. Novak seems to be wanting some press time boy is he talking. I guess now that the cat is out the beg he needs some work. I know Mr. and Mrs. Wilson will be glad you solved the case. Then we'll talk about your future. Your really smart and you know how to not show your cards.

Fitz I forgot to tell you don't go on Chris Matthews show or anyone else. These guys are only looking for ratings and will do anything to move up in there job. I watched Matthews use Bubba's problem to get on NBC. He went beyond what any journalist would do or say. If you want to go to talk after this is over go on Larry King or 60 minutes only. Ya Oprah ok but no one else. Others will only use you for their on benefit. I don't want you used or hurt.

Amen. I second Jackie and all the Anonymii. This is not just about WHO outed Plame. This is about thugs kidnapping and abusing our country and constitution and then
putting it on the market for oil, profit and the profiteers of it -Cheney , Halliburton etc...at the sacrifice of how many lives? How long will this continue?

What I don't get: Bush says Iraq was a threat even though it turns out they didn't have WMDs. And he would have invaded them anyway. But I thought the reason he said they were a threat was the WMD’s. But this week he said, well even if they didn’t have the WMD’s what we did was right because they were a threat and we invaded them because of the threat of WMDs... even though they didn't have any and I would have done the same thing anyway..
But why were they a threat? Because we thought they had WMD’s….whoa! Can I have a Tylenol, please?

Well Iraq used to be basically the only middle eastern SECULAR country, so the threat of Muslim extremists wasn't a problem.
And because they had few allies in the middle east because of their secularism, well that wasn’t a threat...
And the sanctions had basically crippled them for the last several years...so indulge me... can someone tell me how they threatened US? US as in United States, also as in we, you and me?

Ok, so Mr. Bush is saying he invaded them because he wanted to. Why? Could it be strategical placement in the Midddle East to control oil? And all that money that ensues from that? And to control that area well, you need instability and chaos…and all that chaos, well that’s the endless state of war and the endless state of profit…and all that money...

By the way, we are now building a billion dollar embassy in Iraq. I would infer from that, fellow Americans, that this means we WILL be in Iraq and for quite awhile.
And they, the "architects" such as Rove , Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, etc have planned on this, and most likely will continue to "gain" from it, while our country, normal Americans such as you and I, will not profit from it but will actually lose from it. And our military literally will pay as they are now paying, with life and limb. And the billionaires will get their taxcuts.

Speaking of threats to US? China basically OWNS us now. We are so indebt to China by way too many zeroes… Oh, isn't China communist?

Yes the party of the "fiscal" conservatives, the Republicans have put us so in debt that your children and your grandchildren will love to hear to the nostalgic tales about America as you once knew it. What will they be inheriting? A country that is always at war? A country always in fear?

We need to make sure that doesn't happen. We can do amazing good in our own country and we can be again an amazing place of enlightenment and encouragement in the world.

But we can't just stand by and let Fitz do all the work. We have to support him and be active and awake and somehow acheive greatness thru goodness. Otherwise, we aint so great.

To Bluewild, the WMD that Iraq had was they switched to Euros in lieu of the $ and we could not tolerate that and Russia and others are either in the process or have yielded to that also. and regardless of that they were in the crosshairs of some of the PNAC earlier in the predecade of the last century. They are strategic for other reasons and it is not simply the embassy, look at the 14 or so vast bases we have c onstructed therein.
To Fitzmas, keep your head above water and watchful and Merry Christmas.Question; do we get to open the present on Christmas Eve????
