Jet Blue...

If you are flying anytime soon or over the holidays, show some respect and say a prayer because there may be U.S. military personnel killed in Iraq in the cargo hold of your domestic commercial flight.

Please set a timetable for withdrawal and bring them home with respect, dignity and hopefully alive, Mr. President. I would heed Rep. Jack Murtha's advice, while letting Dick Cheney serve out what little time he has left attending the funerals of these brave sons and daughters.

In my line of work I am judged by my actions and results, not words. Demonstrate that you both know the meaning of the word "heroes" and not behave like it is just another word scrolling by on your teleprompters to manipulate the hearts and minds of America.

Thank you for your comments. My daughter is in the army and about to leave for Afgan. I pray for her everyday. Some of her friends have died. I talk to her by e-mail everyday. I stories I hear from her are not on the news nor are they told by the President. Why are we their as we invaded Iraq. First WMD's then Freedom, now we're sitting ducks. Even the Iraq people don't want us there. Peaches joined the army before 911 and with the new law of you have to stay she will not leave until Oct. 2006. The troops know the truth now but they only talk off the record. I support Rep. Murtha BRING OUR TROOPS HOME NOW!!!!

While the Oval and 'friends' are lining their wallets with OIL money, terrorizing the loyal US taxpayer with contrived oil/energy shortages, and annihilating those that don't agree on 'point' with them, Rummy, Condi, Cheney, Bush are just looking to cut a few $ to ensure they get more out of the 'pool' available. This is how we have our veterans treated -- transported worse than cattle, animals back to their loved ones.

This Administration is the most twisted, most despicable, lacking-in-patriotism we've ever seen in this United States of America.

Good Riddance!!

AMen was also my first thought also...and also remember the disabled of all the Wars...I am caregiver to one who scrificed much for all. waving a white flag as a political move against another party are the deeds of Fraternity Boys and Sorority Girls.
That symbol used by those who did not serve backfires on them and shows no respect or no knowledge battle.
And thinking Americans are not amused. America is not your Country Club. You will pay dearly at polls across this land.

Dominionists in their ignorance seek to fullfill the prophesies of Revelations by strict interpretations of a book that theologians roundly discard as having any validity. That many die and nations are destroyed is specifically in their plan as they try to force Armageddon on the world. Their vindictive Bronze Age God will only return until after the world is wasted.
When St. Bush makes remarks like "I trust God speaks through me" his Messianic complex is more than hinted at.

Thanks from this corner as well. Dear Jackie,
I hope you are already a member of Military Families Speak Out http://www.mfso.org There are local chapters in each state-nearly 3,000 military families nationwide are members.

This organization has been a Godsend for those of us military families who feels this war is a misuse of our military. We want our troops home NOW.

May God Bless our troops and keep them safe until their leaders have the good sense to get them home.

Thank you to Rep. Murtha for having the guts to say it!

I worked as a supervisor for an airline in San Diego and we handled military bodies all the time. They were always treated with the utmost respect and dignity. They were always escorted with an officer onboard the aircraft and he or she was always planeside when the body came off the plane and followed it through until the funeral home or military arrived to pick it up at the freight facility. It was sad and at the same time made me proud and always brought a tear to my eye. I am a lifelong democrat and hate the war we're fighting, but every time a fallen member of the military came through, the sense of patriotism and respect was palpable.

Having Worked in the Airline Industry, the Moving of Coffins is not new, Airlines dont speak much about it. Having to put a coffin into a Cargo Hold is no Fun, to the passenger the airport is Mayhem, we say our silent prayers, unseen by public eyes.
I dont like speaking of this Subject.
You are 100% correct, this is Deplorable to treat these Heroes as nothing more than Cargo, This practice must be stopped and give these souls, whom payed the Ultimate price for their country, the Respect they So deserve.
As passengers you never know whats under your feet so please Take time to think not about yourself, but others.
Thanks..
