Let's go back a little while, to a long ago press conference:
"White House press secretary Scott McClellan said he knows of no leaks about Wilson's wife. 'That is not the way this White House operates, and no one would be authorized to do such a thing,' McClellan said."
So, now that we know that they did leak, and that the White House does things that way, don't we now also now "know" that the leak was "authorized"? I mean, here's McClellan saying that a leak could not happen unless it was authorized, and, if authorized, then a leak would be okay? Sure reads that way to me. Happy Hannakamas!
That is why you see less of Scotty McClellan.. He puts his foot in his month when he said, in a news conference in 2003, that he "spoke with Rove and Rove was not involved in the CIA leak." Scotty's days as the Press Secretary are numbered. Scotty has no creditabilty with the DC Pool reporters. Scotty's lie will catch up. I am sure that we will hear about Fitz's two days off on the blog tomorrow...

I'm watching MSNBC and they are saying that you haven't decided what you are going to do yet...They're showing tape of Capt. Karl this morning getting in his car...he looks a-scared!! In this administration where I trust and believe NO ONE, I've got all the faith in the world in you. I know youll do whats right - thanks Patrick - we'll see you when you get back. And screw eating healthy - binge a bit - you deserve it :)

I just watched online Chris Matthews' show: Hardball where there is a second meeting with the jury. That is why Fitzgerald is MIA today. The guests were attorneys Stan Brand and Scott Fredericksen. They both describe Fitzgerald's tactics as "maticulous and careful." Fitzgerald is definitely eyeing for Rove. Matthews explains that Fitzgerald is known for going after the "number 2 and 3 guy and then corners those people where they wish to plea bargain." Stan Brand gave a very good quote which will bring down the Administration: "If you are going to shoot the king, you better kill him." Rove is now scared and it will be a matter of time when the house of cards falls. We just have to patient with Fitzgerald and let him do his job....
