And the look the Gerbil's face on the left of the photo can paint a 1,000 words. He certainly didn't look amused. He looked like he was yearning for the bottle!!!

Folks,

This came in my email of news that I read:

1. "FOCUS | US War Costs "Could Hit $811 Billion"
http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/042906X.shtml

The cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan has soared and may now reach $811 billion, says a report by the Congressional Research Service."

This war will cost over 1 billion for sure!!!

2. Bush Rejects Tax on Oil Companies' Profits
http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/042806R.shtml
"President Bush on Friday rejected calls by some lawmakers for a tax on oil company windfall profits, saying the industry should reinvest its recent gains into finding and producing more energy. He also said: "These oil prices are a wake-up call. We're dependent on oil. We need to get off oil."

Unhuh, and I saw on cable on Friday that Chevon had their huge profit and yet, the Gerbil said that he found no gas gouging from investigating. It is amzing that it took less than 3 days to investigate the gas gouging all 50 states and yet the Gerbil andcompany received huge dividends and oil profits from Chevron , Exxon Mobil, and Shell!!!

3. ETHICS -- SIX CONGRESSMEN MAY BE IMPLICATED IN CUNNINGHAM PROSTITUTION SCANDAL:

"For the past six months there we have been hearing a lot of rumors that not only the Congressman Cunningham but as many as a half dozen other Congressmen may have been involved in this."
The real question is which 6 Congressmen???

4. 750.
"The number of laws “President Bush has quietly claimed the authority to disobey…since he took office, asserting that he has the power to set aside any statute passed by Congress when it conflicts with his interpretation of the Constitution. Among the laws Bush said he can ignore are military rules and regulations, affirmative-action provisions, requirements that Congress be told about immigration services problems, ‘whistle-blower’ protections for nuclear regulatory officials, and safeguards against political interference in federally funded research."

Mr Truthiness just kicked Chimp's ass. The looks on McChimp and his Stepford wife were the funniest part of the night.

Folks, more in the news:

"CBS/AP) Actress and political activist Susan Sarandon says she received death threats and attacks from parts of the American public after she spoke out against the Iraq war."

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/04/30/entertainment/main1561644.shtml
It is amazing that this would happen to actress, Susan Sarandon. Her partner and actor, Tim Robbins is also an activist. I just hope that he is not threatened.

And:

A Tic for Tac from Powell against Girl Friday:

"WASHINGTON - Just back from Baghdad and eager to discuss promising developments, Secretary of State

Condoleezza Rice found herself knocked off message Sunday, forced to defend prewar planning and troop levels against an unlikely critic — "

Also, tomorrow, May 1 is the 3rd anniversary of the Gerbil's victory speech on May 1, 2003 of the victory in Iraq called "Mission Accomplished." The Gerbil should tell that crap to the families who lost their loveones in this duped evasion in Iraq!!!

I guess the Gerbil has brought a new Jon Stewart for himself. At lease this way he can get his paid man to help improve his polls. Ya look at whats been happening already the American people are losing jobs, paying the oil company's profits and we have a criminal who's broken 750 laws while the public say nothing or its ok. Americans are handing over their country to a crook and he's laughting all the way to the bank. When China and the Saudi's ask for their money back Bush will have left office and say as the Dems or raise the taxes to pay the loans.

Day after day, alone on the hill
The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still
But nobody wants to know him
They can see that he's just a fool
As he never gives an answer
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning around

Well on the way, head in a cloud
The man of a thousand voices talking percetly loud
But nobody ever hears him
Or the sound he appears to make
And he never seems to notice
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning around

And nobody seems to like him
They can tell what he wants to do
And he never shows his feelings
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning around

He never listen to them
He knows that they're the fools
They don't like him
The fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning around

Gonzo should start right there in Washington looking for pedophiles, instead of wanting everyone's ISP addresses.....most people google for news that the MSM refuses to report, and the evil actions of Bush/Cheney era.

Men who tell the truth are the hottest. I hope this starts a trend.

Colbert is also Irish and a Chicago person (Northwestern and Second City).

With no dirt or name calling from Clooney, Wilson or Plame there is not news. American news media only wants dirt or name calling or your names not in print.

I thought Colbert was French. He was born in France.
