About Me
- Name: Patrick J. Fitzgerald
- Location: U.S. Attorney On Assignment - WDC, Illinois, United States
Think Globally Prosecute Locally - I grew up in Flatbush, kept my nose clean, went to law school. Now that I am in Chicago and D.C. I have found that the rampant graft and corruption to be a travesty - a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty of two mockeries of a sham. ---Favorite quote --- "Conditional love is an oxymoron." - Yours truly

Oh I got that already Fitz! But, I appecriate you posting those up!

More interesting reading tonight! :)
Who determines who the "rogue states" might be? 'Cause who Cheney and Bush might call our allies, others might disagree.
Were you the Krispy Kreme man delivery dude who offered me a Franklin but I bargained for an extra dozen glazed?
It's amazing what you can sneak out in your socks...did you borrow that technique from the the Berger Heist.
It was an interesting day. Looking forward to Cathie Martin's testimony tomorrow!

PS I would not be surprised if the GNP went down during this trial...I know my productivity has been suffering. But I wouldn't miss it for the world. LOL

Hi Teak,

Hi little Alex! Cute name! :)
Alex the baby troll! ROFLMAO
"Were you the Krispy Kreme man delivery dude who offered me a Franklin but I bargained for an extra dozen glazed?"
If that comment was for me, nope! Never bribe a prosecutor..
"Biloxi, you better get a shot for what else you got."
Hee hee.. ;-)
We're watching a case where the White House for 6 years have lied and Libby is now trying to confuse the jurors. Crime doesn't pay, you always get caught in the end no matter how long it takes.
I was a young teenager yes Fitz I was young once when we heard of two kids missing. But then the news reported three civil rights men missing. Never did hear about the two kids again until today. After 43 years justice will be served.
Ex-Miss. sheriff’s deputy charged in ’64 deaths
Now one would think what does that have to do with current crimes events. Well Fitz is fighting for Justice in the case that the White House lied and covered up the fact that they with the leadership of Cheney leaked the CIA's name. Justice will prevail as long as we have an honest legal system with honest lawyers. I can't say it enough THANK YOU FITZ AND YOUR TEAM you bring the light back for those who have hope.
Fitz,
Those documents just implicate the whole gerbil Admin for going to war on flimsy intelligence without following up on it before they decided to invade Iraq.
If business people ran their companies like the WH acts on flimsy intelligence then business owners would all go into bankrupcy.
Too bad the trial is not about the pre Iraq war intelligence fiasco.
Talk about a major Blunder and Impeachable offenses!
Geez...

Darth doesn't want to talk about the truth and the facts, does he? He simply wants to continue with the lies that we've heard for 6+ years! Disgusting!

Only thing Cheney is good at is shooting his friends in the face and he probably just got lucky there..

New thread
GEF:
From the link you posted:
"Part of the problem that we have, I think, is because we didn't — we didn't involve the Congress in this when we should have."
Bingo!!
Yep... BINGO!
You can say that again - follow the link and read about me, I was smart.
"The established wisdom in the state department, intelligence community and the Future of Iraq project was that we had between three and six months after the end of the war before an Iraqi revolt. This is the time you had to get things going nicely for the Iraqis before they turn against you."
The state department had, through its Future of Iraq project, detailed plans on how to proceed. There were plans for all the ministries. Months were spent preparing reports that once they reached the Pentagon ended up in the waste basket. Chalabi was in; everybody else was out. It really is strange how often his name comes up when people start talking about Why Things Went Wrong."
"Apparently there were people in the western desert before the war and there were contacts made with high-level Iraqi army officials - but "the basic message from the agency was: 'Go home. Drop your weapons until it gets to be time, and then come back.' And that is why the dissolution of the military was such a big mistake."
The Americans did not keep their part of the deal. When Paul Bremer, the US administrator in Iraq, decided to get rid of the Iraqi defence ministry, 400,000 people ended up jobless and angry."
Which leads to much despair, more anger, stress and people will fight back or find something to cope with like the Valium I've heard is available without prescription in Iraq. (via Oprah)
The Iraqis, JMHO, were set up to flounder and die.
This article makes me think of the people in NOLA and surrounding areas. All that money donated and from the government, probably ended mostly in the hands of private and corrupt corporations. Leave the people in despair, ruin, jobless (use the corporations for rebuilding, no bids please) and then make sure there is plenty of coping powders and pills pushed by the greatest drug smugglers/pushers of all time. Eugenics, a helluva game they play.
