What is the succession if the VOP is ousted? Minority leader?
Need something with Cheney's scent on it, then give it to Fitz to smell and Fitz will feel the need to go after Cheney with a blood lust!
Wells' opening statement:
"I know Scooter Libby intentionally lied."
Intentionally? Huh? Interesting choice of words. How about Scooter lie or didn't lie...
Since when does a Special Prosecutor "drop into" "a blog" and announce lunch in the middle of not only this trial but any other for that matter ?
I suppose next he'll be dropping in on his dunny break !
Hi JB's
Looks like this trial will take a while if they cover all of the ground that is mentioned in the opening statements. Can it be that there is allready lard on the road, from Pork Rind being thrown under the bus, and is Wells implicating Cheney? This trial is apparently going to be a little about everything instead of everything about a little...
Go PJF there is more than one elephant in the room...lol
Folks,
You wonder why Irve should have plea bargained with the rugby man? Check out this statement from Wells:
Mr. Libby was known in the office as having a bad memory. He did not have a good memory. WOW. [The media room erupts in disbelief]
Can I ask a question? If Libby is known for having a bad memory then:
1. Why hasn't Libby seen a doctor with that problem?
2. Why is he holding 3 jobs?
3. Does Libby have a bad memory in his personal life and outside of his jobs?
4. Why is a person who a bad memory allowed to rewrite the sppech of Powell and Scooter McFelon?
5. Why was Libby that crisp and sharp with Richard Clarke about his information on the Saddam/ 9/11 connection?
6. And how in the hell did an attorney like Libby win his client, Rich's case, got Rich pardoned by Clinton, and collected 2 million dollars of attorney fees?
Finally,
7. Why is Libby still had a license to practice and currently employed at another job?
Correction:
6. And how in the hell did an attorney like Libby win his client, Rich's case, got Rich pardoned by Clinton, and collected 2 million dollars of attorney fees?
Rich was a fugitive. Libby didn't win per se but only getting him pardoned. I was typed wrong..
