The video shows the "Bush Administration's willingness to use fear and smear tactics to gain political advantage in a tough election year," according to a DNC press release.
"Specifically, after years of hardly mentioning Osama bin Laden, saying that 'he wasn't that concerned about him,' and closing down the CIA office charged with his capture, President Bush seemed to have a new found interest, citing the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks seventeen different times in a speech this week," the press release continues. <more>

Osama was never in any danger as his family made the deal with the Bush family not to touch Osama. Notice how Bush said he doesn't think of Osama yet now that he needs to put fear back into the public out comes Bin Laden. I love the fake tape just released after 5 years, that propaganda money paid off. I notice that channel 9 showed scenes of the 9/11 TV movie with the same footage of the news report of film footage of Bin Laden talking to the 9/11 highjackers. Now I know it was a mistake but what a mistake. Makes since that the Al Jerzza got the tape after 5 years right in time for the fake movie.
Oh please, this is simply a raison de entrée that they actually win elections, when the credit goes to Diebold et al.
Meanwhile Democrat candidates become more "Republican," all the time. Surely a democrat can actually win someday, and the exit polls will confirm the authenticity of it.
The mainstay of politics is on the line here. It is whether the will of the people is the will of all the people. If it is not, then politicians actually appeal to their lobbies for election, rather than more broad based concerns.
A lack of a free exchange of ideas occurs in the current climate of politics. This is analogous to the nervous system, but what happens to a physical body when the nervous system is challenged? Maybe Father Damien and his story could fit well here. Over years of stifled free discussion, the nervous system is practically gone, and the country follows. Yes dictatorships, and those who usurp debate and well founded criticism of problems not people, are the equivalent of Hansen's disease.
There is almost no credible communication from Osama bin Laden, since all the videos are almost too easily debunked. At least PT Barnum tried to put out a good show while he noted "there's a sucker born every minute."
