Americablog:
Rove's imagines different outcomes for 9/11 -- how about if his boss was paying attention?
by Joe in DC - 8/25/2006 12:05:00 AM

Karl Rove is in full campaign mode. It's terror, terror, terror. He's always speculating about all the ways 9/11 could have been prevented:
Presidential adviser Karl Rove criticized a federal judge's order for an immediate end to the government's warrantless surveillance program, saying Wednesday such a program might have prevented the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Rove said the government should be free to listen if al-Qaida is calling someone within the U.S.

"Imagine if we could have done that before 9/11. It might have been a different outcome," he said.
It might have been a different outcome if we had a President who didn't ignore the August 6, 2001 Presidential Daily Briefing titled "Bin Ladin Determined to Strike in U.S." Imagine if we had a President who took terrorism seriously back in 2001. We didn't. The reason Bush and Rove accuse everyone else of being weak on terror is because they were weak. They ignored the warnings. And, Al Qaeda did strike in the U.S. -- as predicted by the CIA.

Bush got a free ride after 9/11...his failure to protect America was never fully exposed. If anyone challenged him, they were unpatriotic. As we approach the fifth anniversary of 9/11 and the first anniversary of Katrina, the White House will be in spin overdrive. Never forget that both of these disasters happened on Bush's watch.

Porkrind is living in fantasyland! Someone should tell Porkrind as he is traveling on the chitlin circuit that imagine the different outcome of Hurricane Katrina victims if the mangler-in-chief paid attention to the victims in need, did his job, and didn't ignore the cries of the victims in need. Otherwise, Porkrind is full of crapola! that's my 2 cents.. Biloxi is hanging his tights up tonight! Good night!

Karl knows that the Bush Administration knew there would be an attack. Most of the facts have come out soon more will come to light that our President knew. The memo was only one example of fact that Bush knew that there would be a attack. This is the GOP effort to have fear and attention to 9/11 for votes. Bin Liden said he applauded the action of the terrorist but he didn't know about it. Now we see there are numerous groups and most unknown to America who are terrorist. Al Qeada was the blue print that let others follow. Bush has helped create so many new leaders in terror we'll never know. Porkrind is losing it and so is the GOP. Their lies have caught up with them.

Hi Biloxi,

He's living in his fantasy land, of course he doesn't believe in the stuff that’s tumbling from this mouth but he knows what he's doing because there are enough people who're scared by this mysterious Damocles Sword of Terrorism that Cheney is portraying.

Already Plato said:
When the tyrant has disposed of foreign enemies by conquest or treaty, and there is nothing to fear from them, then he is always stirring up some war or other, in order that the people may require a leader.

And that is exactly what they're up too! No doubt there is terrorism and thread but not only do our governments further the hatred from which terrorism springs, they also exaggerate any thread to scare the population and make them believe that they need a strong leader.

Actually what is scary is that I have just been recently reading exempts from Goebbels diary in a book that has tried to look at Fascism and it’s rise from a psychological point of few and the methods of brainwashing the people has frightening similarities to our current governments policy.

Its a shame you could'nt have slowed him down.

If his political way of "twisting words" helps one person get in/back in office that will be one person to many.

Good Morning All,

Some of you kids were up late last night;-)

Rover really stepped into to it this time-both feet. As Jackie said, the memo was only a little example-what about all the intel warnings from allies? Hmm, Karl? Or to neocon buddies?

GMNUK, YES on the vote!!! Here in the corrupt "Heart of Ohio" we are doing an "extra ballot box" with paper and pencil-asking people to vote & drop it in the box, after they vote on touchscreen. We have volunteers manning the boxes.

Talk about a job-I'm anti-Iraq war all the time-but my friends will have me guarding a box on election day!

I'd like to see UN to come in, personally.
A major newspaper Editor in Cols is giving a talk next week at a church about the upcoming vote-I've got lot's of questions for him. Maybe he won't lie since he'll be in church!

As a previous poster said the media/Editors/Owners ARE the problem. Pressure from the public is the least of what they deserve...I think lawsuits are in order. They ripped off the public and their country.

Yeah, I thought that was cute.

By the way, are there any lawyers down there? Someone has to go after Yale. Qui Tam. Yale never had a Lyme vaccine and the testing for Lyme is still bogus, allowing more cases to go undetected and untreated.

Yeah, they knew. And I hope and pray that we the people won't be suckered by Rove's terror tactics. There are terrorists everywhere in the President's office.

5) There was thermite pre-planted in the World Trade Center before 9/11. OSHA would never, in a million years, allow a building to be loaded with explosives in any "just in case" scenario, yet WTC Building 7 fell down on 9/11, while it was claimed that the firemen said they could not put out the fire. That would be because it was a thermite metal fire.

Nothing's been done about all those very serious terrorist and illegal activities. Imagine trying to
put a Lyme vaccine on the market that they knew never worked:

They knew it before Phase III trials began. They knew it in 1992.

GMNUK said: Pretty convenient, wouldn't you say? St. Clair County

YES, I would say so...is there a voter rights org in your state? League of Women Voters, maybe? What about Conyers-cause he's not busy enough...haha OH has its hands full with "Hackwell"-W personally came to Cols-election night 2004 to thank him.

A cartoon from Stephen Pitt-here's the dirty dozen-and Richard Perle really looks like that in person ;-)
Almost made T scream!
Earth to Neocons

Kathleen-I read building 7 held documents that were involved in a lawsuit regarding the asbestos in the trade towers.

I think the Plame matter has Pinky's sac back in undescended position. All we need do now is penetrate the fog that now flows unobstructed from his bungus. That is, his mouth.

We will cut the prick off at the knees and go directly to Rupert-his propaganda minister. Lots of work to do here.

On related matters: If the health of Christofascism is measureed by the condition of the "Christian" Coalition, it too has fallen from grace, and into Pinky's smelly fog.
The sock puppet act is a bust.

The deepest ideologues must be panicked at the thought of the looming public skewering they are about to face. Seeing the smile ripped from Smilin' Bill Kristol's mug is a moment I'm ready for.

After its over, I don't want to see, hear, or smell a trace of these perpetrators. They betrayed us and now have the audacity to steal our rights to suppress resistance? Over my dead body.

Run neocon. Run.
