Dems stand behind 'bribed' Rep.All of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, Democrats and Republicans just say "No, thank you!" to graft.

Corruption has no color line. I am an African American and I think William Jefferson should be treated like all the other crooks. To use race is not a defense for letting a criminal get a get out of jail card. The honesty should be by the person not the race. I hope the people of his state see to it that he doesn't get back in office. No party is above the law. We have race problems but this is not the way to get equality. Jefferson is using his race and African Americans just as he used all Americans when he committed his crimes. All those that support him are just as bad for backing a criminal. Justice is color blind at lease thats the way our founding fathers built our courts.
Well, another politican on the chalk board for graft. And some of the Democrats are standing behind this knucklehead??? Amazing... Some of the Democrats are no different than some of the GOP that are implicated in graft and using the "stand by your man" theme. As I said, both parties need a serious ass scrubbing of all graft politicans!!!!
Please tell me this is a hint that the Democrats in Illinois are next! Thank you again so much for taking care of former Governor George Ryan. Please thank your staff and especially thank Tammy Raynor. Whistleblowers in Illinois are treated like they have bubonic plague, so she is one brave and strong lady.
Where is our state pension money, Gov. Blago? How can you have $10 million in your re-election war chest, Gov. Blago, when no one likes you? Could it be pay-to-play?
Or does Gov. Blago have to get in line behind Mayor Daley?

This just describes the dilemma for the American voter. Who do we vote for? We have way to long tolerated illegal and immoral behavior by politicians. Both parties participate in it and support the behavior when it becomes public knowledge. There is always some excuse. This simply emphasizes that it is up to the American voter to demand change. In my opinion, the Republicans just say stay the course and the democrats don't say anything that matters. We need some new and progressive ideas in government at all levels, but above all we need honest people who will listen and respond to the American people for whom they work. The days of corporate greed and political pay backs has to end if the America we love is to be recognizable.
There's a fine line between graft and politics. Witness the fact that our US Attorney did nothing while the CT DCF had all Yale "experts" determine I was insane, and invented what I did and said.
Yale was against whom I filed the RICO complaint with the US Attorney.
Me and my kids, who have Lyme disease, cannot get any help from anyone, because of the FRAUD committed by Yale. I have one kid who has Lyme and Ehrlichiosis.
She's disabled.
We get harassed and I get thrown in jail for exposing this FRAUD, I am STILL being harassed by Edward McSweegan- who participated in this crime, and we have no law enforcement protection.
AT ALL.

Jackie is right, There is no color line when it comes to committing a crime. And Mr. Jefferson shouldn't get preferential treatment because of race or color of committing a crime nor does Tom Delay, Karl Rove, Scooter Libby, or anyone else of race. color, or creed. "Graft" doesn't a have description of race, gender, color, creed, or religion. You say yes to graft then you go to jail regardless of who you are, period!
That Graft Dollar is a long ole dollar..
