I can see that you are repeating this post because today is the day that GJ make the decision to fry Porkrind on the grill! Can't wait to hear the results. Hopefully, it will be today!

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening folks!

Happy Wednesday! And Today could be the day for curtains for Porkrind!

In Gerbilnews:

Boston College snubs Girlfriday.

Boston College faculty object to honorary degree for Rice

"BOSTON --Nearly 100 faculty members at Boston College have signed a letter objecting to the college's decision to award Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice an honorary degree."

"On the levels of both moral principle and practical moral judgment, Secretary Rice's approach to international affairs is in fundamental conflict with Boston College's commitment to the values of the Catholic and Jesuit traditions and is inconsistent with the humanistic values that inspire the university's work," the letter said.

Folks,

An update on Hookergate It gets more and more bizarre and more politicans' names are coming out in connection to Wilkes and Cunningham:

Odd Links to Wilkes Surface in Shirlington's Records

"The main tie seems to be the persona of Jerome Foster, another San Diego-based defense contractor, who sat on the board of Shirlington Limo from its inception in the early 1990s until 2000. As Josh explains it, the two are connected through a third man, former Rep. Bill Lowery (R-CA):
If you've followed the Wilkes story, you know that the guy who taught Wilkes how Washington works and has been in the mix with him ever since is former Rep. Bill Lowery (R-CA). Wilkes first spent quality time with Lowery back in the 1980s when one of Wilkes' jobs was to take Lowery on trips down to Central America to hang with Kyle "Dusty" Foggo and the Contras.
Good fun like that can't last forever, of course. And in 1992 Lowery lost his seat to freshman Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham after the two San Diego reps were pushed into the same district and had to run against each other.
Out of work, Lowery decided to become a lobbyist. . . Not surprisingly, after Lowery set up his lobbying firm Copeland Lowery & Jacquez, Wilkes hired him to lobby for his company ACDS. Between 1998 and 2002, Wilkes paid Lowery's outfit some $200,000.
Anyway, strange as it may seem, another one of Lowery's clients was none other than Jerome Foster's Pentech. "

Rep. Bill Lowery?? Who is next???

Why would it take until Friday to announce if the indictment comes back today?

SPB, If they decide, how long until we know something? Any ideas? That is great about Rice getting snubbed-its about time...

According to Fitz's posting on Friday, he presented evidence to GJ to indict Rove. He mentioned that the GJ resumes Wednesday (today). Now, if the GJ is in agreement with Fitz to indict Rove, then the media has to be notified within 24 hours of a news conference. That is why there is rumor that the press conference would be Friday. That is only IF the GJ is in agreement with Fitzgerald. If not, then that announcement would be delay to next week. We just have to keep our fingers cross that GJ do the right thing today.

Folks,

I know that everyone on this blog is a bit ansy and excited to know what the GJ says. But, be patient. Justice will prevail. We have come to far on this blog to support Fitz. It is now in the GJ's hands. If I was Porkrinds, I would be pretty damn scared!!!

Thanks SPB, Anxious indeed. Chomping at the bit! We certainly support everything Fitz and staff have done to take down this cabal! In fact I am ready to clap and yell when those indictments come down...and no I wouldn't want to be Rove. Granny says "Rove is screwed, blued and tattooed!"
(She's Scotch-Irish Catholic, Independent and loves Fitz)

Anon, thanks for that link of a timeline

Yeah, I know, Know, eveyone on this blog want the announcement of indictment for Porkrind. I want that too as well as Cheney. Speaking of Rove. I thought I pass this information about Rove and his mysterious finance. We hear about Cheney and the Gerbil but not Porkrind. This is some intersting information:

Rove's Unexplained Personal Wealth
by citizendc
Tue May 02, 2006 at 07:17:07 AM PDT

"Have you ever wondered how a man who owns a $1,500,000 house in DC, a $1,000,000+ house in Florida and a $48,000 cottage in Texas manages to survive on $161,000 a year federal salary? It's odd.
Would it raise questions that same man had sold a property to a shell company controlled by his former business partners and that man made between $250,000 and $750,000 profit?
Maybe it would raise further questions if those former business partners that bought the property were raking in millions of political dollars from the Bush-Cheney presidential campaign, the RNC and multiple other Republican candidates? Would that just be a coincidence? Well, those are a string of coincidences that happened to Karl Rove."

Now, we understand why Porkrind is called the "architect" to the Gerbil. He was rewarded very well for the Gerbil's reelection. But, he won't living that lifestyle any longer when Fitz indicts him!!!

That grand jury has a room reserved at the courthouse every Wednesday and Friday. Sometimes they use it, sometimes not. Even when they do use it, it's not always for the leak case.
