Is this going to be "DukeGate"? Just hazarding a guess that the tentacles in this octopus wind all over - and will strangle many.
Yup, a much bigger corruption than Cunningham.

"Today, ThinkProgress made several attempts to contact Dustee Tucker at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. We were routed to Jerry Brown in the Office of Press Relations. Mr. Brown couldn’t answer our questions about the inconsistencies in Ms. Tucker’s statements. He also informed us that Ms. Tucker was now on “scheduled leave” and would not return until “next week.”
I have feeling that Jackson may be good as gone from his job. And The Gerbil Administration trying to lay low from this scandal. And now Ms. Tucker is on "schedule leave" all of a sudden??? No one wants to talk...

Yeah right! Every person who bailed out as a cabinet member for the Gerbil Administration said the same thing! And you know Jackson is in hot water from what he did. He violated certain code of ethics for the HUD...

I think that Adminstration is trying to lay low from this latest scandal. Jackson probably on a leave of absence. This is a big deal. A lot of the contracts from HUD are minority government contracts. And Jackson denied any of the minorities government contracts because of their personal beliefs about the Gerbil, it is a very serious violation. And the Democrats will not let this one die. We are not taling about HUD in D.C. This HUD program is nationwide especially in the Hurricane Katrina areas...

Judge J. Michael Luttig, one of the country’s most prominent conservative jurists and once considered a likely Supreme Court nominee, has resigned from the Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Va., to become senior vice president and general counsel for the Boeing Co. in Chicago.
In a three-page letter to President Bush today, Judge Luttig, a 1991 appointee of President George H.W. Bush, wrote of his particular pride in helping define the law in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. “In the prosecution of those who committed the atrocities against America on that morning, the court has been asked to address some of the most complex and far-reaching legal questions of our day,” Judge Luttig wrote.
He’s replacing Douglas Bain, Boeing’s general counsel, who announced his plans to retire from the company."

BTW, Basheert, Judge Littig did say in his resignation letter that he spoke it over with his wife, Elizabeth... He's been a judge for 15 years... And Bain is bailing out.. Tells you something... And don't say it is because they want to spend time with family!
...and Louise Slaughter is all over this Jackson guy. She's a pit bull (a very angry pitbull) and she's not going to let this drop I'm sure!

and yet I sit here and wonder how these people can call themselves the "moral" party!
I'm not naive, I realize there have always been prostitutes and do believe it's a private industry (sort of) - however in many cases these are "men" who set themselves up as the "guardians" of righteousness. These are men (yes most of them do appear to be men) who set themselves up as judge and jury for the rest of us.
How incredibly venal of them.
And how incredibly stupid of them to get caught ...
Give Duke a little time in jail and he'll start thinking of what it was like it was on the outside.
If he doesn't start spilling his guts he'll die in jail for sure. He's not stronge enough to hold up in that enviorment.
