Why does that Hayden wear his military uniform in the hearings to be head of the CIA? Is he retired or what? It says, POLICED STATE, with all this tapping and snooping, and lies and more lies.

Who took our freedom? Osama? I think not.

Too outraged to say anything coherent at the moment, except, of course we all were sure of this, and now we know. Difficult to think straight. And to think, there will be any number of people out there who will support this snooping as vital to our national security.

If I am not mistaken, when Ma Bell was busted up in the 80's, all of the baby bell's operated as individual companies running a network over the original Ma Bell network. Basically, just because Qwest says it refused to turn over records, won't AT & T and others still be able to monitor Qwest lines just by virtue of the physical infrastructure? We need a telecomm engineer to post here.....

Tommy Franks thinking about running for politics himself.

"What we're talking about is neither 2,400, 24,000 or 240,000 lives," Franks said at the National Rifle Association's annual banquet. "Terrorism is a thing that threatens our way of life. It doesn't have anything to do with politics."

More than 2,400 soldiers have died since the beginning of the invasion of Iraq, the plan for which Franks developed and executed. He also oversaw combat in Afghanistan after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

"I watched as America changed," Franks said. "That's not near done. We have to secure ourselves. We have to secure our Constitution."

"I don't care about your politics. I don't. Don Rumsfeld is an American patriot."

Franks retired in 2003 after a 36-year career in the Army, highlighted by becoming commander of Central Command in June 2000. He received warm ovations from the 3,000 NRA members in attendance.

"It makes me think about going into politics," Franks said. "The great blessing is that thought doesn't last long."

I think I will puke now.

I just got off the phone with the Real Patrick Fizgerald's office and was told this is not Mr. Fitzgerld's blog. They did say he is aware of it and have gotten a lot of complaints. So I guess we just wait and see if Patrick will or can do anything about this faux blog.

well, well, well AT&T busted!!! Can't wait until I get my nitice for a class action lawsuit because I had that carrier a few years for a cell phone.... This will be the biggest lawsuit ever.. Verizon, Sprint, and other carrier better fess up if they are involved (I know Verizon is involved) before they become front page and be an embarassment to the public!
