Brass Ones...

or Supergirl?

Pelosi Wants Probe of 'Corrupt Congress'

You go, girl!

House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi said Republicans had created "one of the most closed, corrupt congresses in history" and urged the House ethics committee to investigate GOP lawmakers linked to lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

"It's hard for the American people to understand how corrupt it is here," the California Democrat said at a news conference.

Nancy, I understand, we all understand. Let's get busy.

In your words Fitz " And now come Women". Yes we do stand and speak out and you will listen. We will not go backward if you remember behind every good man stands a great woman. Even Alito wont stop us from standing up and speaking out for truth and honesty.

I agree with Kit. It is about time. Pelosi is not a supergirl but a person who speaks her mind and want corruption to end. I had a chance to meet her. She is standing up like other citizens. Let's not forget Senator Boxer in CA. Now, she is very outspoken person in California who opposes the Administration's antics and had a few choice words with Condi Rice. You are right: Let's get to work!

Brass Bra with a leather whip, fish net stockings, and thigh high boots - Pelosi is a new and improved Wonder Woman to clean up Congress...the former is my idea of the ideal wife for Pat Robertson.

Sightings at Sunset in DC - just finished watching about 12 or so contrails from military planes pass high above DC. Must have been at 50K feet going somewhere. I hope they are staying at home and not on the move to Iran.

One of many opins lately...

"Knowing when to hold your tongue -- With Republicans frantically rushing to repair their image in the face of budding scandals, the jubilation of Democrats has been muted by concerns over their own House leadership -- namely, Nancy Pelosi. Key minority members are growing more uncomfortable daily with their floor leader's seeming inability to set a positive tone."

Alito's wife as crying yesterday, but our beautiful democracy has been crying and may soon be silenced by these guys like Bush, and his pick Alito. Why did Bush pick Alito? What were those talks about when Alito went to the Whitehouse. YOu think they were discussing baseball?

PJF, we know he is your friend but he tips the balance (even if he is a moderate-which according to his record, he is not)in an already conservative court. All of this corruption, spying, the Wilson-Plamegate, Libby, Rove -when you indict him, wiretapping, etc...the illegal war and the lying that went with it in order to start the war so Bush could play Commander in Chief, all of this stuff could be and most likely will be thrown out with a conservative court. "Unitary executive power" which means Forget about the Constitution - I'm in charge - and democracy is then dead.

Did you see SYRIANA? They gave that attorney a few bites to make it look like the goverment was doing something about corrpuption. Please don't let it play like that. That's not what's going on here is it? To fool us and make it look like something is happening when really you are in the game with them?

hmm, the connundrum of getting the GOP'rs to scatter..

* Abramoff = good one
* Indictment for Rove = even better
* Indictment for Cheney = toasty
* Impeachment for W = like wildfire.

A beautiful sight.

While Rove is still allowed on the Chopper to smear people it's just a matter of time we hear Nancy hangs out with Cindy Sheehan.
I can feel it coming.

Indict Rove. :)

But until the smears (GO NANCY)

Please, please, please investigate. We Republicans can't wait to see Dorgan and Reid snagged in the same net as us.

Rep, Pelosi has led you all to two easy conservative Supreme Court appointees and a Patrick Fitzgerald investigation that led to a bogus charge against Libby.

I wish we had an opposition party with ideas and balls. Instead we have have Pelosi and Reid and neither have any.

Sad, really.
