Letterman -- Top Ten Reasons Alberto is Stepping Down

NBC5.com - Durbin: Fitz Could Be Long Shot To Replace Gonzales

CHICAGO -- U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin said Monday the top federal prosecutor in Chicago might be a long shot to replace outgoing Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.

The Illinois Democrat praised U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald for being a career prosecutor who has proven time and again that he looks at the law and not politics. Fitzgerald's Chicago office has prosecuted several high-profile cases, including former Illinois Gov. George Ryan.

Durbin has been a frequent critic of Gonzales. He said he is glad Gonzales is leaving his post next month, but he wonders about the timing of it.

Dick, the timing is perfect -- my lease is up next month.

However, I don't trust Dick Durbin and his motives.

I'm not giving up hope that Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald, Jr. runs for the Presidency in '08.

I know it might be wrong to want something for him that he doesn't want for himself.

I'll try to smile, the world will go on, in some way.

Look, there is still is a Rome! Gibbon's got it all wrong, Rome is still there. The reports of Rome's demise, in the "Decline and Fall" are premature, Rome is still there.

Just a few minutes ago, I completed signing up for an Arabic course, the language.

Sigh, I guess I can get used to wearing a veil. Not all veils are equal. I saw a really nice, black diaphanous one, on a pretty arab girl, last week. She was dressed very stylishly, and in fact the veil made her look mysterious, like an arabic Veronica Lake.

Since we won't have a President Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald, Jr. to save Western Civilization, I might as well be ahead of the curve and learn the language of my future rulers.

Halliburton has already ceded and moved to the mid-east. I might as well prepare myself too.

On-line edition of the British magazine, "The Economist" is going with Chertoff. (Guiliani is for Chertoff). They make no mention of anyone else.

The Economist on Gonzales: "In his testimony, the attorney-general cut a pathetic figure. He repeatedly contradicted his subordinates. He took refuge in ineptitude, saying that he could not recall dozens of relevant facts."

I planned on taking a course in Arabic and Islam this fall.

To understand its influence on poetry of the Renaissance.

In the spring I had been reading, looking at the art, listening to the music, of Islamic cultures.

I became aware of Islam's incursions into Europe, pre-Rnnaissance. Three major thrusts, Danube River valley up to Vienna, the Iberian peninsula, and oddly enough, Italy-the regions of Tuscany and Umbria.

The force of Islam in Tuscany and Umbria was intellectual and brought about changes in the culture. Finance, banking, art, science, in Tuscany. And a mystical tradition came about in Umbria with St. Francis of Assisi, and Angela of Foligno.

So I wanted to learn a bit of and hear some Arabic.

Here it is: Mystery trader bets market will crash by a third (Financial News) sorry the link wouldn't work, it was too long

An anonymous investor has placed a bet on an index of Europe's top 50 stocks falling by a third by the end of September, as world equity markets plunged for a third day and volatility hit a three-year high.

The mystery investor has bought put option contracts on the DJ Eurostoxx 50 index that will result in a profit if it plunges to 2,800 or below by the end of September. Based on the 2,800 strike price, the position covers a notional €6.9bn, and potentially even more using a market price of about 4,100 when the trades were done on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The identity of the investor is unknown but market sources speculated it was either a large hedge fund hedging itself against deepening losses, or a long-only fund manager pressing the panic button to protect its gains.

The investor has bought a total of 245,000 put options on the index. The September put option with a 2,800 strike was the most popular DJ Eurostoxx 50 contract yesterday, according to data from Bloomberg.

The bottom line if it can be said, is Patrick Fitzgerald and the warriors won.

Valerie Plame will have justice against the apparent traitors.

You underestimate things severely. The real Fitzgerald occasionally comes here and he has been reading everything you, each and every one of you write to him most of the time.

This is a war that will surely end in curtains for the mob.

http://insider-magazine.com

Karl Rove was caught red handed. They merely had to nail him, and Scooter Libby behind the scenes to ensure it was a victory.

Those boys are certainly finished. And the main adversary, the Cheneys and all their various traitors are going to be singing the swan song.....

All we have to do, is make sure Jim Comey....

.....not that fool Mik'ael Chertoff, becomes Attorney General.

Then all of the stuff will come out by the truck load. There will be a new dawn.

The evil majesty will have fallen and they will go crawling away it looks like.....then what happens...

We write the book, no?

We write the book, no?"

Yes, the history book. :-)

Even if we have to wait to get rid of Cheney/Bush, we got our Christmas in August. Gonzales is gone. We don't want to get rid of Bush first.

Because, unlike chess, where the game is over when you capture the king, this game will go on, and on, if only Bush leaves.

We don't want to take Bush and leave Cheney still on the chessboard.

Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald, Jr. for President! (0 / 0)

To ImpeachKingBushII said: "Instead of surrendering to Mister Bush before the smoke cleared from the first skirmish of the first battle over the timelines, maybe our leaders could do well to study the actions of the greater leaders who preceded them. No great leader in history ever accomplished his goals by prefacing it with, "I don't think we have the votes"

Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald, Jr. for President!

If you want change, you have to get a different kind of leader. We have to chose our leaders carefully, because of their symbolic value.

What could be better than our first "netroots" driven election? And our first netroots President.

Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald, Jr. for President!

It can be done.

There's a basic formula, it has 4 elements.

Morton Blackwell I'm trademarking this right now! Thanks for the education.

VOTES + Governors + ruling oligarchs + media = President Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald, Jr.

VOTES are not equal to what the Governors + ruling oligarchs + media, want. The electorate VOTES can be overriden, see Bush/Gore race.

Broad strategy,

1. Get Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald, Jr. on the ballot in all 50 States.

2. Get the Governors on board, they have more power over the election process than you can imagine.

3. Get the ruling oligarchs, the real power-behind-the-throne of the Governors, on board. The top 20 or-so families in each State, are the ruling oligarchs.

4. Get the media attention. Hey, you guys already have that! Now break it down to the netroots-to-grassroots message, big media, to local media, to neighborhood papers.

That's the broad plan, the tactics to work this, are a trade secrets.

I'm a grad of a DC think tank, I've done this before. I know the power of one and I can just imagine that the power of each one the Kos bloggers will not just be added, not just multiplied, but will be exponentially increased.

And does Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald, Jr. have experience in foreign policy?

He's prosecuted those who have actually hurt us. What better message to send
to those who would hurt us.

We've got President Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald, Jr. on your case.

We are the good guys. We are fit to make the rules the world should live by.

Because our President, President Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald, Jr. is morally fit.

We musn't take no for an answer.

I totally agree. They won't though. She got the who's who list of Johns and perverts in D.C.

Are you sure the poster wasn't speaking about Vitter? If you set yourself up to be promoted, blackmailed and bribed to harm the American people or humanity...stay the hell out of politics or power.

Hey Fitz,

If you're on vacation, really be On Vacation.

Tell yourself repeatedly. I am on vacation.

Till you really really are in a vacation frame of mind.

Soak up the sun, enjoy the green of nature, the

richness of the blue sky, the sound of the lake, or

the ocean, the birdsong, the cicadas. have a beer,

some barbeque, enjoy people, kids, sing songs,

laugh! YOU'RE ON VACATION! Let go. Kick back.

Praise life, hug your friends, count your blessings,

look back at this year's labor, and be glad. Get in

the water. You're On Vacation. Be a kid. Have some

FUN! After all, you're ON VACATION

However, long or short your vacation may be, even

if it's only this weekend, Remember YOU'RE ON

VACATION!!

I belong to a few of these organizations your link has as the global elite. I don't think of myself as one of the elite.

I was born in Slovenia, a tiny village in the eastern Julian Alps. Where small streams, filled with melting alpine snow, flow into the Danube. The village, Tisina, means "stillnes, quiet."

Now I'm in Chicago, I belong to the same private gym, that Obama and Oprah belong to. The East Bank Club. So what.

I belong to The City Club of Chicago, where the real Fitz is a member.

I am a member of the Chicago Council on Foreign Affairs (now called "The Chicago Council on Global Affairs"). Obama & Hillary among others, show up for small gatherings. Again, so what.

Obama talks big, but he's a made man, his maker is the Daley clan. He's useless to me. He's refused to sign laws regarding penalties and treatment for child molesters.

Politicians are never what they seem to be.

Celebrities are not on my radar and I'm not on theirs.

I'm looking for an answer.

Celebrities don't have answers.

It would be unseemly for me to go up to any celebrity/politician, just to introduce myself. There would be no reason for me to do that. None of them has the answer to what I want to know.

My clubs/orgs. are all open membership. Anyone can join. You just abide by the club rules, that's all.

(The Trilateral Council, is by invitation. only. As are a few others, like Tavistock.)

I don't really care what anyone thinks.

"What Do You Care What Anyone Thinks" and "Surely You Must Be Kidding, Mr. Feynman!" are two books evey kid should read.

Physicist Feynman had answers. His lasar-sharp mind cut to the core of why Challenger blew up. O-Rings. And he could explain -in a way that anyone with at least a 6th grade education could understand- how temperature, O-Rings, and leaking fuel, caused the Challenger explosion and death of our astronauts.

As for rogues and perverts among the so-called elites. Yes, probably. But they hide behind CIVILITY and MANNERS.

One aside about perversity and the East Bank Club, Oprah and Obama's (and my) gym. It's practically a four-star hotel, with 6 private snoozing rooms in the women's shower area.

The men's shower sleeping/snoozing rooms were closed, permanently, because of rude behavior (sex) by men in said rooms.

My father has never said anything about the men's showers/bathroom. I doubt he would ever say anything, anyway. He's just quiet that way.

NOw I remember! I lost interest after Bush's "brownie" comment.

I knew Bush only chose toadies who would agree with him.

I was sickened by the Katrina story. I thought it was an intentional decay of the infrastructure (levees) so that they could relocate marginal people. New Orleans, except for the French Quarter, was one huge ghetto.

Racial cleansing by Bush.

MSNBC-Breast-feeding ads blunted

In an attempt to raise the nation's historically low rate of breast-feeding, federal health officials commissioned an attention-grabbing advertising campaign a few years ago to convince mothers that their babies faced real health risks if they did not breast-feed. But plans to run these blunt ads infuriated the politically powerful infant formula industry, which hired a former chairman of the Republican National Committee and a former top regulatory official to lobby the Health and Human Services Department. Not long afterward, department political appointees toned down the campaign.

Again, I ask you. WHY would ANY respectable woman call herself a republican?? Jan send this guy the angry baby face!

The Raw Story | Military spin machine targets Democrats visiting Iraq

There was a news piece not long ago about big funds being spent at the Pentagon to begin new propaganda surge...now we know what taxpayer's money is being spent on.

Wonder if the military members know about what their leaders lied about to them and the nation? And still continue to lie and manipulate?

Breast feeding: it's a good thing!

It's there, you just 'whip it out' discreetly.

No need to refrigerate,
you don't have to heat,
you don't have to check to make sure it's
not too hot for baby,
there are no left-overs, or stuff to dispose of (good for the environment).

And babies agree,
breast-feeding comes in cute containers!

torture to death any "friend" who will hurt my mom---do it until the weapons are stopped and we have an official organization that bans these weapons. JUST KILL THEM TO STOP THEM FROM DOING IT AGAIN TO OTHER PEOPLE TOO...THEY ARE MONSTERS. NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF HUMANITY, HAD THERE BEEN SUCH PEOPLE WHO CAN OWN PEOPLE'S MINDS, BODIES AND SOULS. SO TORTURE THE PERPETRATORS TO DEATH IMMEDIATELY.

---reading some of the messages after all these years, I cannot believe that any of the readers are not wondering why are there so many violence committed by children now? And random murder in movie theatres1? Remember going postal? Is there something in the air that makes a form of violence prevalent? Remember that woman who cut her husband's penis? Followed by another similar crime? Remember infanticide of the 90s? One news after another... I really do not think it is the culture.

Don't laugh it off--you or your child or spouse can be the next victim of someone going berserk in a movie house and shooting people. REMEMBER the retired cop who was watching a movie in New York--and he was "irritated" by the sound of the woman texting on her cell phone? DO NOT FORGET THESE THINGS. TAKE THEM TO HEART AND THINK.

and don't forget to kill BOB P. BURNS AND ALL HIS FRIENDS.

---Aileen Aranzamendez-Large----by the way, BOB P. BURNS WORKED FOR HOMELAND SECURITY AS A DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL TECH, HE NOW WORKS FOR DARPA. If he or any of his friends cannot arrest me for writing this---what does that tell you about me? I AM NOT CRAZY. I AM ALLOWED TO WRITE THESE THINGS AND WHEN BOB P BURNS IS KIDAPPED, ALONG WITH HIS FRIENDS---that tells you that I am right all along.
So be smart and help me. I keep my promises.

DON'T FORGET MY NAME: AILEEN ARANZAMENDEZ-LARGE ALSO KNOWN AS AILEEN LARGE. if you googled and you read this---then be smart about it--the tech I am talking about is true and I will sue for billions of dollars with the others too.

so much intrigue--personally, I find intrigue so boring, I can go to sleep. However, whatever it takes to bring these monsters from our government and military who are torturing me and other people---geez---they've been using mind control since the heyday of the ekplane! ekplane! Remember 'THE LOVE BOAT" now that's a clue. To the people reading this here in the US AND ABROAD: now's your chance to finally help to stop this torture and to be able to have money in the future. MAY I REMIND YOU THAT LOCKHEED MARTIN COST 40 BILLION OR SO. AND WHAT ABOUT THE OTHERS? like BOEING...they have exotic weapons machines. AND WHAT ABOUT CERTAIN NSA GENERALS AND OFFICIALS WHO CAN BE SUED INDIVIDUALY? THERE'S ENOUGH FOR EVERY PERON typoe--IS THAT THE NEST NEXT WORD???

THERE'S ENOUGH FOR EVERY PERSON WHO DO NOT LIKE TO BE THE MASTERCLASS OR THE MASTER RACE. INCLUDING FOR THE soldiers and the people who work with BOB who cannot stand his lies and his experiments since day 1. Well--I'M SURE ATTY. COMEY'S AGENTS ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE AT WORK so you can cooperate and get those bastards who carved out high positions for themselves sin is a typo in government by torture and murder and corruption--you know . . . has -- been kidnapped yet?

--go ahead complain about what I write--you'll only provide AN ISP even if it's not yours--it's something that can be used as evidence and exhibit.

Are you sure the higher ups are telling you the truth--even if you're in Canada? How did I KNOW THAT? How did I KNOW YOU WERE PLANNING ON USING FAKE ISPs to set up something very bad....geez guys, how did WE know that? You'll be dead before sarsi AND ROXANNE.

fyi--THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN STOP ME FROM HELPING TO REVEAL ALL THE ATROCITIES YOU COMMITTED IS BY KILLING ME--BY LITERALLY KILLING ME---AND I AM SURE THAT THE PEOPLE WHO PROTECTED ME FROM THE START WILL NOT LET THAT HAPPEN.

sorry--I GOT ANOTHER CONFIRMATION---ANOTHER SON OF SOMEONE IN THE WHITE HOUSE IS GOIGN TO DIE THIS YEAR. 7/27/2015 I DON;T KNOW IF IT WILL BE SUICIDE, MURDER, ACCIDENT OR ILLNESS THAT WAS ONCE THOUGHT TO BE GONE BUT COMES BACK WITH A VENGEANCE. Then why the hell did they approve of things they did not understand?
