Senate Report: Five Nonprofits Sold Out for Jack
"Five conservative nonprofit organizations, including one run by prominent Republican Grover Norquist, "perpetrated a fraud" on taxpayers by selling their clout to lobbyist Jack Abramoff, Senate investigators said in a report issued today."
"The groups are Norquist's Americans for Tax Reform; the Council of Republicans for Environmental Advocacy, which was co-founded by Norquist and Gale Norton before she became Secretary of the Interior; Citizens Against Government Waste; the National Center for Public Policy Research, which was a spinoff of the Heritage Foundation; and Toward Tradition, a religious group founded by Abramoff friend Rabbi Daniel Lapin."
And Sen. McCain thought Italia was such a nice young lady...

Definitely Gale Norton needs to be investigated. She bailed out of her job at the WH and yet denied her ties to Abramoff. The non-profit group was a front for Abramoff and others for profit. Both Abramoff and DeLay created nothing but a scam. DeLay created a bogus company to funnel money into DeLay's company. The paper trail will catch up to Abramoff and DeLay.

Anyone wanna doing some auditing ? How about EFI, a 'for profit' , John Bush ,Chairman of the Board . Never shown a profit funded by taxpayers. Tedium trace , foriegn service offices, understand the 'friendly' fees are not sorted by country. He said , 8 years ,I've enjoyed such missions and envoys.........and we say , not 'severing our bond 'with you .........yet.....

Heritage Foundation-- Is that corrupt, too? Didn't Rep. Jim Ryun get his sweetheart deal on his DC townhouse from them? I think I read he did. I know he had much remodeling done that most of us could only dream of thrown in for such a bargain price---NOTHING.
Dick Cheney blew into Kansas, brrr..stumping for Ryun yesterday. All of us are called 'liberals' like John Kerry for "cutting and running" in Iraq. For 30 years, Ryun has tried to convince the liberals in DC that we need fuel alternatives, but he will keep 'trying'. Only 30 years, what other sweetheart deals has Ryun gotten in those years? Like Nancy Boyda asks (his challenger) how much does it cost the taxpayers for Cheney to blow into states. She also says that Ryun isn't going to do anything about the big money that controls congress. I agree.
Back the candidates that don't have corporate funding or foundations do their 'remodeling' on their sweetheart deals. Ryun doesn't think the minimum wage should have been raised either, I have an email to prove it. He thinks Bush/Cheney are doing a heckuva job, got that email too.
If I'm a 'cut and run liberal', is Ryun a 'Grand Ole Pedophile'?
