Fitz,

Or better yet pixie dust or Harry Potter's wand!!! What do expect from MSNBC??? Everybody has the answer about Porkrind's fate... MSNBC better worry about Tweety Matthews and his two paychecks that he cashes: 1. GOP checks and the MSNBC paycheck.. I like Schuster.. He should replace Tweety Matthews... I just want to be the fly on thre wall when Randall sends the memo of a press conference about the indictment of Rove. Now watch MSNBC, Faux News, and all of the media run like gerbils to get the scoop when Jason had the scoop all along! Ha! Ha!

Folks,

More in the news:

Check your freezer folks for missing money! This artilce is too funny about William Jefferson:

"And really, the most damning detail of all is that Jefferson evidently lied to Mody when he said he'd paid off the Nigerian VP. In reality, the cash (or $90,000 of it) was in his freezer, in "frozen food containers and wrapped in aluminum foil," when the FBI raided his house two days later."

2. And this next article is definately a joke!

From thinkprogress.com
Rep. Doolittle Just Wants The Same Benefits Every American Doesn’t Have

"Doolittle argued members of Congress should have:
– “a corps of staff to assist the members, to perform routine tasks such as rides to airports, pickups, deliveries, etc;”
– “an additional automobile” to use around the nation’s capital; and
– government-funded moving expenses when they relocate to Washington, DC."

Matthews: War Crime?
Matthews: War Crime?

Matthews: So what diverted us to Iraq?

Batiste: Good question. I don't know, and that's...

Matthews: How come nobody seems to know who this crime...this, this mistake was committed. How come everybody -- and maybe it'll look like a crime at some point because we were chasing bin Laden, we still haven't caught him, the President said at 9/11 "We're going to catch the guys that knocked down these buildings," but we have lost that pursuit. The top people in al-Qaeda are out there somewhere in Pakistan and yet we're stuck in Iraq with a course that had nothing to do with the people who attacked us on 9/11, right?

Batiste: Chris, that's the $24,000 question and I turn to the Congressional oversight committees, the other branch of government who is charged with getting to these answers.

I bet that was on purpose, so everyone can calm down. Count to 10 and relax. :-) I'm busy for 24 hours and this place turned into nasty chaos . . .

Wow, Robert Luskin spent a long time with his cat at the vet? What a guy! Has he produced a vet bill to prove it? I think we need to add a new course:

No Lame Excuses 101

I can teach that one. A young man once told me he missed class because the flesh-eating bateria was loose in his neighborhood. Instead of telling him I knew that was a lame excuse and in this case, a lie, I punk'd him. It took a lot more work on my part, but he did not miss class ever again, and I bet he turns into a good employee when he grows up.

OK, behave yourselves. I have to go back to cleaning the yard.

Roger--quit 'outing' where everyone works, OK? If they wanted others to know, then they would pass out business cards. ;-)

The folks over at the Congress Watch of Public Citizen have put out a report on the lobbyists who bankroll Congress. It features a list of the 20 biggest givers among lobbyists -- an interesting read, to be sure -- but they've also compiled a tally of the biggest "getters," the members of Congress who've pulled in the most money from K Street during the 1998-2004 election cycles.

Among current members of the U.S. Senate, guess who's No. 1.

That's right, the man who helped found the very K Street Project and then tried to deny its existence, our own junior senator from right here in Pennsylvania, Rick Santorum. Looking at those four election cycles from 1998 through 2004, Public Citizen found that the Pa. Republican had raked in $1,163,560 from registered lobbyists -- $838,133 from individuals, and $325,427 from their political action committees.

That puts Santorum in an elite club. Only four members have raised more than $1 million from lobbyists during that period -- the one who raked in the most, former Democratic Senate Leader Tom Daschle, with $1,687,721, was booted out of office by South Dakota voters in 2004.

The one current member of Congress who's taken in more lobbyist cash won't be around for much longer. That would be former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, who raised $1,322,906, but is resigning early next month to deal with his criminal indictment in his home state of Texas and is also under investigation for his ties to a disgraced lobbyist (what a coincidence), admitted felon Jack Abramoff.

(In the Wouldn't-You-Just-Know-It Department, the other member of this dubious $1 million club is Pennsylvania's other senator, Arlen Specter, at $1,019,317. Is this state "corrupt and contented" or what?)

Anyway, lest there's any doubt who's the king of K Street dollars, the study also took a snapshot of all members of Congress in the current 2006 cycle and found that Santorum is now the undisputed leader, with another $560,738. His closest challenger, Hillary Clinton, with her sights on the Democratic presidential nod in 2008, is a not-close second at $417,565.

So, no wonder Santorum is so busy trying to change the subject, accusing Democrat Bob Casey's campaign -- without any apparent evidence -- of peeping into the house that he claims as his voting residence in Penn Hills, Pa. (The suggestion that the house is empty came from a local newspaper reporter). There's nothing inherently illegal or improper about taking money from lobbyists, but with voters on the warpath about ethics in Washington (and in Harrisburg), this doesn't look good, either. This report doesn't even look at lobbyist donations to Santorum's "leadership PAC," America's Foundation, which paid for all those trips to Starbucks.

Now, voters, reporters -- and maybe the Casey campaign itself -- should start asking more questions about just what Santorum might have done in return for all that dough.

Domain Wars: The U.S. Versus .xxx

May 22, 2006

Be the first to comment on this article

Newly released e-mails allege U.S. government officials pressured a leading Internet authority into voting against creating a kind of red-light district for adult Web sites.

The apparent involvement of the U.S. Department of Commerce, President Bush's chief political operative Karl Rove and others is significant. If true, it means the U.S. government violated terms of a complicated arrangement it has with ICANN, the Internet authority that voted 9-5 last week not to OK the .xxx proposal.

PointerClick here to read more about how ICANN has come under this kind of fire before.

What ICM Registry wants is permission to distribute Web addresses that end in .xxx to be used exclusively by adult entertainment sites.

The proposal won support from the Wired Safety & Wired Kids, the Internet Content & Ratings Association and other child safety groups because of the way it's expected to make it easier for authorities and parents to police the Internet.

Detractors say it just makes it that much easier to find porn. ICANN voted it down 9-5, after seemingly being on track to approve of the effort.

Since the ICANN vote, ICM Registry has made public e-mails, here in PDF form, between members of the Department of Commerce, various other branches of the federal government and ICANN. The company had asked for the communications earlier under a Freedom of Information Act request.

After discovering many of the emails had been redacted, ICM on May 19 asked a judge in Washington, D.C., to force the Department of Commerce to fill in the blanks.

PointerClick here to read more about how the .xxx proposal has stirred controversy.

ICM says the e-mails show how the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, a branch of the U.S. Department of Commerce, were subjected to intense pressure to intervene in some way on behalf of the The Family Research Council, and Focus On The Family, two religious conservative lobbyists.

eWEEK.com Special Report: Politics Meets IT

NTIA members then started keeping watch as to how the .xxx proposal was reported in the media, had drafted letters protesting the .xxx domain addressed to ICANN, helped facilitate meetings between ICANN and concerned groups, and otherwise "marshaled our resources at ICANN," as one NTIA official put it in an e-mail.

As the e-mail blitz was going on, Bush's main political operative, Karl Rove, met with James Dobson, the leader of Focus On The Family, to air his opposition to the .xxx proposal, ICM learned through other sources.

A secret "Stop .XXX" order went in effect shortly after the meeting, according to the documents.

This was all taking place in spite of a ban on such activities called upon by a memorandum of understanding allowing the Department of Commerce to work on a particular project with ICANN involving domain name servers.

"The documents released so far reveal that the United States government exerted undue political influence on ICANN's consideration of the .xxx domain application, and treated an independent corporation as a client agency of the United States government despite a lack of any legitimate authority to do so," wrote Stuart Lawley, ICM Registry president, in an e-mail to eWEEK.

Comments were not immediately available from ICANN, plus the two conservative religious groups and NTIA officials that took part in the e-mail communications.

I don't know why someone named "anonymous" would get their panties in a bunch about who runs this blog .

Being such an ignorant person, I guess I should sit down, shut up, and wait for the press conference by Fitz.

Well down the drain, I can give you pretty much authoritive answers to all those questions.....

1) As far as everything we personally confirmed, this blog is for a fact irrefutably real.

2) We know several prosecutors and lawyers who run their own blogs on the side.

3) All our facts point to a meeting taking place at Pratton Boggs last week, Fitzgerald also confirmed so here.

4) Jason Leopold's brief scoop will be exonerated when the time is up.

He was pretty much correct on everything aside from the timeframe....24 hours to "get affairs in order" means in legal jargon....

24 hours to decide whether you will fully co-operate or not.

As for when he will hold the official press conference, that is not up to the A.G. at all although there is pressure on Special Counsels from many areas.

We can only think about when it might be....but Fitzgerald will let us know right here at the site, as he always does....and the news will be broken as always.

Threats from other bloggers aimed at the "trolls" is what will get a persons "panties in a bunch about who runs this blog". It is of great interest to me to know if PJF condones the threats and attempted intimidation that is perpetrated from this blog on a daily basis.

I guess we need to add another course, just for bloggers:

Reading Comprehension 101

There are lots of studies that show that reading comprehension on a computer screen is not as good as if someone read something from a book or on paper. Perhaps folks need to slow down a little when they are reading, and think.

For now, here are some clues:

1. Comments that are offensive get routinely deleted off this blog.
2. Comments on the section of the blog where lots of people got upset yesterday were completely shut down.
3. There was a countdown section put up yesterday, so the upset people could all take a 'time out.' No comments could get posted on that section either.

Anonymous 6:13 a.m.: Do you think those just might be clues that the Blog Masters are telling folks to behave themselves, without being overt about it? My guess is they assume we are all adults and should not need to be told that directly. Adults should pick up on clues, but children need to be told directly, perhaps.

There is an important holiday coming up and vets just got royally screwed by some person who was careless about their personal information. While you all are waiting for the Rove stuff, take another time out and do something nice for a vet or in rememberance of a vet. That would be a noble thing to do, and it will help the time pass more quickly.

Good morning everybody I noticed that the same question is again brought up. Grandmanuk I think it's someones way of trying to make people leave the blog. Everynow in then a person comes on the blog to confuse others. The same people are most likely saying Rove wont be indicted or Libby never was indicted. I noticed that the media is not saying anything about the CIA leak as if it were a bad dream or it will go away. Fitz did tell us what would happen when the top Administration crooks were about to fall. I just move on as if these non believers or people trying to say this isn't real, go away far away but these criminals will fall.

I check in with this blog several times daily. Don't post much - most of the regulars posting here are way ahead of me in their understanding of the issues. I check out this blog to learn, and to laugh. Who knew SPs could be so funny and creative?

I don't worry about who is publishing this blog - it is outstanding, and it seems to be the real deal. Good enough for me.
Night Owl and Jackie's comments posted 5/23 a.m., about ignoring those people who come here to throw things off track and perhaps discourage others from coming here, are dead on.

So here is a plea from a lurker: Please, please ignore the -, disruptive people who post here. They disrupt the flow, most likely that's the goal. They will swarm this blog as things heat up, just watch. Loved the way Countrysunshine invited "Tom Delay" to leave (on another thread) without addressing that person directly. Hilarious, classy, seemed to work. Southern manners at their finest ;)

And, to close this out, I want to express my appreciation for PJF and the Team of people working with him for what they are doing to stop the dirty deeds of the evildoers in our government. Serious, dangerous, really hard, hard work. You need to have lots of ways to laugh and blow off steam to stay sane.
Thank you.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening Folks!

Happy Tuesday!

Well, I can see there is a lot of commotion happening on the blog. Before I start with any news, I wanted to throw in my two cents in regarding to Night Owl's comments.

Folks,

Please understand that there will be some bloggers that come on this blog that may think that this blog may be a fake.. Please don't be offended by his or her comments.. It is hard for bloggers to believe that a Special Prosecutor would have a blog site.

Secondly, we don't want call someone a troll if we agree or disagree with his or her comments.. Let's be adults.. This is Patrick's blog.. Let's show this blog and people that visit this blog including Patrick the respect its deserve not treat the blog like a shouting match. We all can do better than that! We can still have fun on this blog yet express our deepest concerns about ceratin issues..

Thirdly,

You have to expect certain bloggers that will come aboard and spread negative information about the blog, Patrick, and his case... My advise is just ignore it... You all know that Patrick is doing right in this case and you know that he will bring the peoole to justice. And you don't need to offend this blog.. You all had been on this blog too long to have faith in this case!!!
Finally, let's all lock arms and get pass this negativity.. We are living in a negative world with people who don't have hope in this world thanks to the mess in this country.. At least, you have a place or blog that you can come to have faith that someone in this world does care and want to make a difference in justice.. So, let's keep the positiveness of this blog going.. And just ignore the naysayers are trying to disrupt this blog and don't allow the naysayers to win on this one.. Let Fitz do his job and we will have a Merry Fitzmas very soon....Thanks! You all are awesome!!!

By ignoring them, they will indeed go away. "

No we won't.

I came here since I have a tremendous respect for Patrick Fitzgerald and all of the things I have read about him. He is truly a great person and one that is really needed. I wish he could be cloned so that the process of getting rid of this current government would be put out of its misery and ours.

But, I am disenchanted with this site and the posters. You are rude, hostile, disengenuous, and I have read some very wacko ideas coming from you Roger. This is not the lucid type of dialogue I expected but more lunatic fringe crap that already clutters the internet.

Do not think for a second any of you are on the same level as Fitzgerald. You all come across sadly as wannabes desperate to be part of the big picture. You cut and paste stuff from other websites that anybody could read in the original. The expectation of someone who knows nothing of this site would be certainly influenced by having it associated with Patrick Fitzgerald and yet coming here it is the exact opposite of anything anyone could expect or even want.

And it is true, no one quotes from this site because there is nothing worthwhile to quote.

I have heard numerous times from posters here that if we trolls don't like it here why don't we just leave. Well, I have heard similar things from right wingers who say - America, love it or leave it. Is this the kind of mindset you wish to emulate? Is this how you will win back America?

And the constant ridiculing of your opponents is just plain stupid. First of all nothing has happened to any of them as of yet that is earthshaking. So the name calling comes across as something children would do because they are frustrated at not having the power.

I guess, no I know, you will just call me a stupid-headed troll that should just go away. That I am part of AIPAC/Neocon Jewish conspiracy that wants to take over the world (or has already).

Basically, that is all I have to say: pack it up, seriously no one cares.

The entire US Marshals have swarmed this place recently, just because of an individual called Al Rogers.

They do so all the time, and these games are old, do not have Jackie a former judge and court clerk yell at you.

Perhaps this time you will get the picture, and realize they do not care about this blog, as they are well versed in who runs it.

Remember one thing though, they always watch this place....and it is of course within their means to find out who someone really is.

Please don't bother them, Fitzgerald does stop by here. They have no interest in anymore tapestry calls.

Especially on issues they are well versed in.

Oh and yes, its all fake according to you. So leave and don't keep starting trouble or wasting time.
