Colbert was right, the mainstream media has overwhelmingly just been repeating whatever the Bush administration says. Whatever happened to finding your own sources and research instead of just repeating what another media outlet has said and calling it fact and news. But I still bet, the Bush administration sticks to their story on the Plame leak, they seem to think most of America accepts what the main stream media reports, they are in for a big shock when they have to face reality. Americans need to speak out now and demand the truth.
I told my daughter that now the main stream Americans who don't use the web or have cable will know that Bush leak the name of an active agent. Isn't that treason.
I'd say Mossad had a little intelligence lapse, here. They did not know what every CIA agemt knows, despite the Israeli Abramoff wireless communications antennae company? Or did that happened later than Wilson's visit to Niger?

Now that MSNBC has confirmed that Plame was working in Iran, this certainly will shock the American people. Even though Raw Story had that info some time ago, most American people rely on the news rather than surf the internet for answer. This certainly not good for the Gerbil and company. The news media really has to do some soul searching to regain the public's interest because it is the other news sources on the internet like Raw Story, Thinkprogress. org, Truthout.org, etc., blogs, and faux news comedies like Colbert and Stewart that have taken journalism to the next level in the future.
The MSM has become so much like soap operas. ("Desperate Housewives" and "Dallas" comes to mind)
They seem to want to tell a story but never get to the real truth.
Pretty said a comic had to take on Bush with the truth.

I was reading some of the posts on Huffington's blog by two guys who were staunch Republicans (Robert George and Nathan Gardels) trying to explain why Stephen Colbert was NOT funny and how the doppelganger bit with Bush was REALLY funny.
I had an epiphany over this and believe I am now enlightened.
The tough guy, no nonsense neoconvicts are really pussies. They are thin skinned and very sensitive to their blind allegiance to Bush and his cabal. They have penetrated so far into the rhetoric that they are incapable of seeing the truth anymore or even knowing that there IS a truth. They are so used to riding the crest of Bush/Rove/Cheney BS for the last five years that they cannot fathom that there is anything wrong with this country or that anyone is in the slightest way opposed to their ideology. Even with the poll numbers sinking weekly they believe in some illusory mandate which allows them to act with impunity and get all bloated with puffery at the slightest pushback from Foreign leaders, Retired Generals, Democrats, fellow Republicans, the public and, insult to injury, a Comedy Central comedian.
My enlightenment tells me that these people are Stepford Wives whose brains have been reprogrammed into crusaders of righteous indignation that are quickly finding themselves under siege from every quarter.
I feel like James Coburn did in that great movie The President's Analyst when he finds out the world is really run by automatons from the Phone Company whose sole purpose is to implant mini cellular phones in our heads at birth.
With my now lucid vision I see these people as the very same types who filled the Soviet Politburos, who could spout all manner of Commie gospel the whole time knowing it was bogus treacle to sanitize their true aggrandizing endeavors while at the same time playing three card monte with the constituents.
I also just watched Jim Cooper, Democrat from Tennessee, explain in Congress what the true budget deficit is using accrual accounting once you factor in Social Security and Medicare. The true budget deficit is almost Three Trillion dollars. Bush's administration has borrowed more money than all of the previous 42 Presidents combined. And yet these people do not flinch and continue their dangerous and reckless management of our country, its people and our collective future.
The United States is going to collapse before this man is out of office. The energy crisis, the war, immigration, terrorism, cronyism, corruption, graft, double standards, pandering to the religious right, the massive budgets, the outsourcing of jobs and glabalization, the erosion of the middle class, the sellout of the country to foreign governments, the head-in-the-sand attitude towards global warming, are all tilting the country into an irreversible state of chaotic decline.
Bush not only spent his political capital but all of ours and that of our country's heritage as well.
