May I Suggest Pop Secret..?

Root Beer, Jordan Almonds and Goobers or Raisinets. You may want to pull up a chair - it should be pretty entertaining from here on out.
"Fitzgerald is said to have introduced more evidence Wednesday alleging Rove lied to FBI investigators and the grand jury when he was questioned about how he found out that Valerie Plame Wilson worked for the CIA and whether he shared that information with the media, attorneys close to the case said.
Fitzgerald told the grand jury that Rove lied to investigators and the prosecutor eight out of the nine times he was questioned about the leak and also tried to cover-up his role in disseminating Plame Wilson's CIA status to at least two reporters.
Additionally, an FBI investigator reread to jurors testimony from other witnesses in the case that purportedly implicates Rove in playing a role in the leak and the campaign to discredit Plame Wilson's husband, former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, whose criticism of the Bush administration's pre-war Iraq intelligence lead to his wife being unmasked as a covert CIA operative." Karl Rove, your time has come.

And Stephen Badly...

And all the rest of the AIPAC stooges!

Their skin is white, and they sure look pale. But they are beyond contempt, and bluer than a whale!

I don't know how to rhyme as fast as a fixed proxy,

So I'll let them take it away, and pass this onto prosecutor Biloxi!

By the way Fitz, great job we are nearing the end here. If your agents ever want to talk, give me some time to finish up this CD it will have the key elections data in it.

It's sounds like the "what do we do now , boo?" syndrome from the Gerbil Administration. Yes, folks, sitting back, enjoy your popcorn, and watch the new soap opera called "The Sin and Sinful" featuring the Gerbil and company in the leak case because as the late Chick Hearn, commentator of the Los Angeles Lakers, would say in relation to Fitz's leak case: "the refrigerator is closed, the jello is jiggling, and the eggs are cooling." Best of luck to butterball Rove in court!

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening folks!

Happy Thursday!

I'm late on the news. Very busy for me jugging tasks today.

1. Update on the spending of Iraq. From Thinkprogress:

"Annual war spending in Iraq is set to double since the U.S. invasion, having risen from $48 billion in 2003 to $59 billion in 2004 to $81 billion in 2005 to an anticipated $94 billion in 2006. The administration is now spending nearly $10 billion a month in Iraq and Afghanistan, up from $8.2 billion a year ago."

2. The "Decider" fornally named the Gerbil has dodged the Senate to appoint his favorites in two job duties:

Defying Senators, Bush Renames 2 Social Security Public Trustees
By Robert Pear
The New York Times
Thursday 20 April 2006

"Washington - President Bush reappointed the two public representatives on the board of trustees for Social Security and Medicare on Wednesday, defying Senate leaders of both parties.
The appointments clear the way for the Bush administration to issue its annual reports on the financial condition of the programs, which together account for more than one-third of all federal spending.
The White House announced that Mr. Bush had granted "recess appointments" to the public trustees, John L. Palmer, former dean of the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, and Thomas R. Saving, an economist at Texas A&M.
Under the Constitution, a president can "fill up all vacancies that may happen during the recess of the Senate." Mr. Palmer, a Democrat, and Mr. Saving, a Republican, were first appointed by President Bill Clinton in 2000. They can now serve until the end of the next session of the Senate, in late 2007.'

He can do all that because he is King Gerbil the emperor with no brains!

Anon, I read your article about Novak. Novak is playing to sides of the coins here. He knows that Fitz knows the leaker. But, on the other hand, Novak is not going to bite that the hands that is in his backpocket either. He is not going to squeal on the Gerbil and company! He is throwing the media and the public is tail spin by saying as journalist that has been around in that career for a 100 years that his source did nothing wrong. Again, protecting his buddies at the WH!

Anon, forgot to add to my last comments that Novak is a columnist for Faux News. If Faux News is in the back pocket of the Gerbil Administration, so is Novak!

All,

I thought I would pass this along from Truthout.org:

The Worst President in History?
By Sean Wilentz
Rolling Stone
Friday 21 April 2006

I like this quote at the end of the article. It does make you think:

Another president once explained that the judgments of history cannot be defied or dismissed, even by a president. "Fellow citizens, we cannot escape history," said Abraham Lincoln. "We of this Congress and this administration, will be remembered in spite of ourselves. No personal significance, or insignificance, can spare one or another of us. The fiery trial through which we pass, will light us down, in honor or dishonor, to the latest generation."

http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/042006J.shtml

As I know that I had mentioned that I had read a book called "Lincoln on Leadership."

I am going to ask two questions to the fellow bloggers to think about:

1. DO YOU THINK THAT PRESIDENT BUSH WILL GO DOWN IN THE HISTORY BOOKS AS THE WORST PRESIDENT EVER?

2. AND IF SO OR IF NOT, WHY?

12:35 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

The troll speaks again. Robert Novak is right where he belongs,
Faux News. Everytime the CIA gets any press he has to put his worthless two cents in.
And his quote, "President Bush is not what I would call a skilled politician. He seems aloof and arrogant." Gee, ya think Bob?
Bush is one of the most arrogant and incompetent Presidents in History.

Well, it is not for nothing that Bush looks like Alfred E Neuman. Being self righteous he worries about nothing as God is his co-pilot or VP at least.

Folks,

From Americablog:

Blair supports Bush Iran warmongering

"Differences opened up yesterday between Mr Blair and the Foreign Secretary over growing alarm in the US at the refusal of Mr Bush to rule out military action. Mr Straw said on BBC Radio 4 that it was "inconceivable" that Britain would support a military strike against Tehran. Four hours later, Mr Blair refused to go that far when challenged to do so at Prime Minister's questions by the former minister, Michael Meacher.

Mr Blair accused Iran of fostering international terrorism, and said young people were signing up to be suicide bombers directed at US and UK targets. " I do not think this is the time to send a message of weakness," he said."

The poodle Blair is back again with the Gerbil. This is dejavu with them. Same speech but different country to target to attack for oil and profits!
