Sean did good. I like SPB's breakdown to what happen so I wouldn't have to read a thousand pages. The rabbit that came out today was Photofete which changed Skilling's demeanor, The jurors got to see the real Jeffrey Skilling after days of watching the madeup Skilling. The article also pointed out the reporters were clueless as they were shocked as well as the defense attorney about photofete. I heard that Lay might not testify. He should hav taken a plea agreement!
Berkowitz did a wonderful job using the Perry Mason strategy. Jackie is right about Lying Lay. I think Lay and attorney Petrocelli wanted to see how Skilling would do on the stand when he was crossexaminated by Berkowitz. Because Berkowitz surprised Lay, Skilling, and their attorneys with Photofete, Lay decided not to take the stand. But, I think that when Berkowitz crossexamines the mastermind, Fastow, Skilling and Lay will not have a prayer. It will be curtains for them. Lay should have took the plea bargain. His goose is cooked.
US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld dismissed calls for his resignation by a group of retired generals, telling conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh that "this too will pass."
Rumsfeld made no direct reference during the live interview with Limbaugh to the six retired generals who called for his resignation, but he suggested that his defense has only begun.
"You know, this, too, will pass," he said when Limbaugh asked him how it felt to go from sex symbol to having "practically the entire media jump on the case of these six generals demanding your ouster?"
Photofete was small company in which Skilling invested in 2000 and 2001. Photofete was a startup by Enron photographer Jennifer Binder. Now, Skilling said it was small deal, and even though the company had a small contract with Enron around 50,000. But, he didn't bother to disclose in writing his personal investment to Enron's board of directors. Hope this helps!

- I grew up in Flatbush, kept my nose clean, went to law school. Now that I am in Chicago and D.C. I have found that the rampant graft and corruption to be a travesty - a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty of two mockeries of a sham.

Unskilled Skilling and Lying Lay are finished and are about to join Governor Ryan!
That is for sure, Biloxi. The cross-examination was a popcorn breaker on today's radio.
