Funny how the exercising of Freedom of Speech tends to upset the very ones that pretend to cherish it.

My children that was a show for President Hu Jintao because he visited Gate/Starbucks first and put Bush last on the list of important things to do. As for freedoms Americans only have to look at what happens when we speak out about the lies, stealing and corruption of the Bush Administration. We're losing our freedoms the longer Bush is in office. Remember when China let Bill Clinton speak to the college students in China about freedom. Its called respect which Bush doesn't have.

And what is amazing from this episode is that the Gerbil apologized to Hu yet none of the international leaders never apologized for their citizens who protested against the Gerbil when the Gerbil visits their international countries! This is an act for the Gerbil to try to demonstrate his "leadership" to Hu. But, Hu has already been hipped to the Gerbil. Hu gave his behind to kiss to the Gerbil when he made the Gerbil last on his list to visit. Hu chose a wealthy businessmen like Bill Gates and Howard Schultz over a sitting Gerbil President! And notice that the Gerbil didn't get everything he wanted from Hu's visit!

Apparently she got a pass from the White House press office.
Looks like someone's not doing their job. Someone's head is gonna roll.
Watching Countdown where Craig Crawford thinks that this incident was intentional.

A press pass from this White House seems to have strings. Agree with Bush or shut up.

Somehow my brain just can't compute China and Human Rights at the same time.

Remember the cold war, when the rhetoric established some future "convergence." Well that meant something different to me when I studied color television repair. You make sure the picture is clear by a process of setting convergence of the three color electronic beams.

Well there is a different picture here when it comes to China, and the strange relationship we encounter as for recent history. The quest for cheap labor has resulted in the dumping of goods far beyond the limits. Does China export to third countries prior to exporting to the US?

If the rule of law means anything it tells us not to overdo discretionary enforcement. This is what is happening when it comes to both immigration, and trade policies. Apparently this is the hidden hand at work? But the important point of “convergence,” is the direction America is going. Is it away from tyranny and injustice for both countries in this bilateral process? Go figure.

Well what was the objection of Wenyi Wang? Once again it was about the Falun Gong? Yes it was, all about the first amendment. Now when you compare what has happened to these people who are harmless, mostly doing Tai Chi exercises, you see the indifference of our public leadership. Could it be the USA is so dependent upon Chinese cheap labor? Again this is a position of a corporate oligarchy, since most Americans would rather pay a little more and buy American. Some of it consists of those in "reeducation camps," as Falun Gong members. 10 cents an hour is their luxury wage you know, the one they deduct from these people.

I am sorry Pat, what is happening out there is so little reported, that we only have traces of those difficulties. Mobile execution vans to harvest human organs are in one place duly noted by the State Department web site and in another spelled out as conspiracy nutcase speculation. At least the Chinese plan to stop executing people and harvesting their organs next July. Moral indifference is so profitable.

The best anyone could expect here as a proud American, is to let this lady go free, and keep her out of future events. We should not lose sight of her message. After all for lack of vision, the people perish.
