Moby Dick...

is only 750 pages, the King James version of the Holy Bible is 1293 pages, and War and Peace a mere 1424 pages.
In my line of work you shoot for the stars and hope for the moon. Regarding emails, phone records, memos, documents, briefings, etc. in this case - let's just say I snared the Milky Way and have been reading, reading, reading and reading, and then re-reading everything to read between the lines.

It is a good book along with Gulliver’s Travels). I guess you the person in pursue of the white whale. Now, who is the white whale or better yet, who are the white whales????

King James version? Is that any way for a nice Irish Catholic boy to talk?
Please, Douay-Rheims or at least a St. Joseph or Confraternity edition published before 1962. My Douay-Rheims, published in 1881, is dedicated to "that loyal, religious and enlightened body of men, the Catholics of England, Ireland and Scotland, in admiration for the steady zeal with which they have kept the deposit of faith bequeathed them by their forefathers and handed it down without interruption or adulteration to their posterity."
Remember Fitzy, they hate us because of our faith, but it's our faith that makes us strong.

From reading your post and reading between the lines of your letter posted at rawstory, it seems that the 24 hour file cleaning period that Alberto gave the WH wasn't enough time for them to find all the files that referred to all the files that were subsequently deleted.

(Gee, I wonder who had the authority to give the order to circumvent the "normal archiving process"? Only someone in the E.O. could do that, right?)

I certainly hope one of the flippers kept copies of everything.

But even more, I hope the intended audience for this leaked letter no longer has any doubt about the what you can prove if you are forced to do so. Some of those options carry very stiff penalties, don't they?

Oh we're way past Watergate, Fitzgerald and Mcnulty know it...

Look at this.

Is there spies in New York Times, or should I say.....Arthur Sulzburger Jr. actually?

This time instead of just nailing them on the coverup, americans can close down the whole syndicate.....Shut down the israeli mafia, and we won't have anymore watergates.

He knows it, you know it, and I know it.

And we're way ahead of the criminals now!!!

American people score: 10
Neocon spies score: -19

Cheney will just suddenly 'flee the country' and the international security forces will have to arrest him for questioning....We don't live in Israel or Ukraine do we Cheney?

That's an excellent question, actually....

Do we live in the Ukraine or Israel....?

I'm not aware of any such rule....I think in truth, we live in the United States of America.

So then I'd guess, that would make John Bolton a traitor.....WOULDN'T IT?

And what about old Dick Cheney....how far involved is he with Bolton? Or for that matter, Thatcher and her Russian spies?

Hey....there's a high penalty for those sort of crimes. Looks like its going to be a busy day for Fitzgerald and all their staff!!

Wouldn't expect to see too many 'blod updates' today, if I were you....

Ton Anon 7:06PM,

As a Catholic, I wouldn't be caught dead reading the King James Bible.

From my experience, I dealt with those who swears by the King James Bible. They are not very Catholic friendly that is for sure.

Like my mom always say, People always fear Catholics for whatever reason.

The stockbroker that I have recently dated, didn't have nice things to say about Catholicism. He was Methodist.

I could never understood what Methodist really stand for.

I grew up in a very Catholic neighborhood in the Maryland DC Suburbs so I am not too familiar with Protestant teaching only that they hate us Catholics.

Have you seen Gangs of New York? I appropriated the line from the film. Although there are some inaccuracies (like the Irish reciting the prayer to St. Michael 40 years before it was written by Pope Leo XIII), it shows how Irish Catholics were "welcomed" to USA by the KnowNothings and Nativists in 19th c.

King James version is an Orangeman's Bible. No way on God's green earth is the real PJF owning an Orangeman's bible.

To BlueWild
I had the same thought about Fitzy proclaiming exorcite te! Have you read Hostage to the Devil by Malachi Martin? Excellent book that describes case studies of actual exorcisms. The process Fitzy is undertaking is very similar to an exorcism:
First the Pretense, where the devil tries to make the exorcist think he's not present. Then the Presence, where everyone in the room feels the presence of actual evil being. Then the Breaking Point in which the exorcist forces the demon to identify itself and give up it's name. Then the final confrontation between the priest and the devil. Then finally expulsion.

Since I started here on her feast day, I think I'll sign off as

My guess is that in the 10,000 documents Fitz gathered he probably found a memo to Dubya titled How to Facilitate Armageddon and the Second Coming of Jesus Through American Foreign Policy - standard reading for wing nuts as interpreted by their small minds from the KJ version. I wouldn't be surprised if he had to research Mein Kampf as well to glean insight into these folks.

This is chosen book....

I haven't said it lately but I will say it again...Alito needed to be on the court.

This is because he really doesn't like the neocons....alot, and he also understands all of their scams.

Alito's son had an 'incident' in the white house....since I've been on the case the whole time, I'll just say the incident was rather revealing.

Fitzgerald knows who these blokes are from Abramoff, to Cheney, to Bolton and back.....Rather than have any interest in the bible, these people believe in a satanic book known as the Talmud....and they have not just Bush, but lots of other so called 'people of the public trust' believing it too......

And you just thought congress had a bad day? Hahahaha yeah....it's never that simple.

Why is it what type of religion so important to people. I don't care who or what someone worships as long as they are not trying to influence me on my beliefs. I think it is ones own right to choose, and who an I to tell anyone my beliefs are better than anyone elses. I feel the same way about homosexuality as long as they are not trying to convert me or abuse children. It seems to me the catholic church should do some police work within, news headlines and settlements from the church, do not make one want to send their child to the church.

I feel religion is a personal choice and a private matter, I find all holy rollers wanting money disgusting, & greedy. They remind me of Bush & what we used to say about my grandmother "I'm right, I'm right, even if I'm wrong I'm right". Single minded people have ruined this country.

I don't care what religion my president is as long as he is qualified & educated enough to run this country. The power to negotiate with others would be a plus too. Just my opinion.

I have been keeping tabs on the Enron trial on a daily basis. I found this article in the WSJ Law Blog that is quite interesting. The Enron trial is very much connected to the Bush Administration as well as DeLay/Abramoff/CIA Leak/Corporate Oil Companies etc. CORPORATE FRAUD NO LONGER A POLITICAL ISSUE ACCORDING TO FORMER PROSECUTORS:

On the Corporate Crime Reporter website, Russell Mokhiber measures the impact of President Bush’s Corporate Fraud Task Force, formed in 2003 amid the fallout of the Enron and WorldCom meltdowns. Mokhiber writes that the task force’s success is evidenced by the fact that it was taken off the table as a political issue in the 2004 presidential campaign.
Timothy Coleman, a former federal prosecutor now with Dewey Ballantine in Washington, D.C., tells Mokhiber that “Kerry and Edwards mentioned Enron and corporate crime once or twice” during the 2004 campaign. “In my view,” Coleman tells the CCR, “the best proof that the government’s efforts have been successful is that corporate fraud was neutralized as a political issue.”
In an earlier interview with the CCR — which also appears in the post — former prosecutor William Mateja, now at Fish & Richardson in Dallas, said that despite public perception that “Republicans are beholden to big business,” the task force helped convince him that “this administration was committed to doing the right thing

Looks like all hell is breaking loose today. Way to go Fitzy!

To 6 miles:
Well, hope springs eternal. My concern isn't that they'd be able to corrupt Fitzy. They couldn't. My fear is that the beast owns the political landscape of Washington, D. of C. You know, a lot of those congressional neocons who have been caught up in the scandals were swept into office in 1994 after the downfall of Jim Wright and Dem leadership in their own scandals. The pendulum swings back and forth. It would be cool if Fitzy could slay the dragon once and for all, and if anyone could, I believe it would be he, but that might be putting too much his shoulders--broad as they are. Power corrupts--it's the way of the world, saints preserve us. Maybe our job is just to keep pushing back as much as we can.

I just read that the Bush is asking Congress for 120 billion for Iraq and Afganistan and only 18 billion for Hurricane Katrina. Now, I know that 120 billion is lot of money to buy Twix bars but only 18 billion for Katrina? He just cut Medicaid and education. If Congress frisbees out this money to Bush, we are deep trouble financially. Seems as though, Bush is building another countries' economy while the United States's economy may go bankrupt. Let's see, in Faurenheit 9/11, Saudi Arabia owns 7% of the U.S. and China has a percentage. If Bush keeps borrowing money from Congress and other countries, United States may become a subsidary of China or Saudia Arabia.
