Bush Is Addicted To Conflict....

and the military industrial complex.

Since our President gave me as an American the warning that I am "addicted to oil" and need to find new alternatives, let me counter with some advice for him - Mr. President your request for a $439.3B Defense Budget shows that you need to give peace a chance and learn how to play better with others.

Fitz,

Bush is really addicted to power. But, he is certainly demostrating his character through his dictatorship. And he says, Americans are addicted to oil??? Well, I guess if we, Americans are addicted to oil as he says, the only alternative for heating is the park bench and for transportation is a skateboard. And it would be a pretty differcult challenge to use a skateboard to travel from Nevada to Florida for a vacation.

If Americans are addicted to oil as the President suggested, then the President and the GOP are addicted to lying, stealing, corruption, criminal acts, torture, fake document, hiring incompentent people, and hiring ex-criminals. And all of this coming from an oil man. What happen to our friends: the Saudias????

Another thought. I wonder what President Bush's father thought about his son's statement on oil dependency statement as he makes billions with his friends the Saudias. OPEC will just say bring in on as Willie Nelson smiles with a corn stock in his hands. Willie will sell us corn oil at a lower rate than OPEC thereby there goes the environment.

Well, Jackie

There certainly won't be any hand holding with the Saudias and the Bushes thanks to King George's speech. I certainly bet that the shareholders and board members for ExxonMobil, Carlyle Group, Unical, and Halliburton have choked on their pretzels from
Bush's speech. I guess Bush's oil friends may give Willie Nelson a call to propose an investment in corn stock! Bush's father certainly is saying to himself: "Why do have a son that is an idiot and why did I name him after me?"

The "contempt" has been going on long before 2000 and never think the "intellectual leader" of this old gang is out of the picture...the military are just cannon fodder to these people.

"In Haig's presence, Kissinger referred pointedly to military men as "dumb, stupid animals to be used" as pawns for foreign policy. Kissinger often took up a post outside the doorway to Haig's office and dressed him down in front of the secretaries for alleged acts of incompetence with which Haig was not even remotely involved. Once when the Air Force was authorized to resume bombing of North Vietnam, the planes did not fly on certain days because of bad weather. Kissinger assailed Haig. He complained bitterly that the generals had been screamin for the limits to be taken off but that now their pilots were afraid to go up in a little fog. The country needed generals who could win battles, Kissinger said, not good briefers like Haig.

On another occasion, when Haig was leaving for a trip to Cambodia to meet with Premier Lon Nol, Kissinger escorted him to a staff car, where reporters and a retinue of aides waited. As Haig bent to get into the automobile, Kissinger stopped him and began polishing the single star on his shoulder. "Al, if you're a good boy, I'll get you another one," he said.

Amen, PJ, amen! Give peas a chance.

And speaking of addictions, doesn't this defense budget make Bush a pusher? He's pushing HIS addiction onto all of us, whether we want to be addicted to war or not.

I was trying to go cold turkey, too.

We should be thankful that President Carter and I implemented an enormous solar and alternative energy program back in the late 70's or we would still be reliant on Middle Eastern oil.

This guy cant keep his story straight, or its just an ever evolving bs story.
So, now the spin is we are addicted to oil and need to find an alternative. Oh well Alaska, sounds like our Napolean is knockin on your frontier...err...door....

Im beginning to think the weapons of mass destruction are right under our nose, in DC.

Just keep that looser out of Brooklyn....

Much respect to you Patrick.
Keep up the fight and hopefully this country can be returned to the people again...

"Your lights are on, but you're not home
Your will is not your own
Your heart sweats, your body shakes
Another bomb is what it takes

You can't sleep, you can't eat
There's no doubt, you're in deep
Your budget's tight, you can't breathe
Another war is all you need

Whoa, you like to think that you're immune to the stuff, oh yeah
It's closer to the truth to say you can't get enough
You're gonna have to face it, you're addicted to oil"

Couldn't resist.
I guess this means Bush is suffering from DTs--miniature monkeys in straw hats coming through the key holes. Headed for another lost weekend.

Since when does George Bush think he needs to play nice with anyone?
He thinks he is King of the World!
He's clearly a legend in his own mind!
