2,000 U.S. Military Personnel...

have been killed in Iraq as of today.

Help me out here? What are the true reasons that President Bush has given to justify these 2,000 dead Americans?

1. 9/11 - FALSE
2.
WMD - FALSE
3.
Iraq was a haven for terrorists - FALSE
4.
Spreading Democracy - FALSE

A little secret between you and me, my investigation is not ONLY about who leaked CIA Operative Valerie Plame's name to the press...it goes deeper, much deeper.

Real reason: Halliburton.

They needed more contracts.

different strokes for different folks:

bush: working out his daddy issues.
cheney: jobs for the boys.
the neocons: world domination.
everybody: black gold, texas tea.

put 'em all together, they spell blitzkreig.

johnny pez, you are onto something with your "black gold, Texas Tea" comment.

After all, we have Jethro in the White House....

of course I am puzzled at how he could have been smart enough to nominate someone brilliant like our Harriet!

How about this one: "Pretzels of Mass Destruction"

We're currently running this by the focus group, but we figure that since Saddam tried to kill Bush41, and that the only real danger to the President's life has been pretzels, that an Iraqi agent must have slipped Dubya a weaponized pretzel. (You don't really think that those milk factories just made milk, do you?)

Oh, and we have an unmailed Christmas card from Saddam that specifically 'hopes' that the Vice President has "another heart attack." That's a clear and present threat if I've ever seen one.

Real reason? Saddam went after Bush's daddy and made it personal. C'mon, the rest is just all that 'bookstuff' no one cares about. The fact that those 2000 solders had families is an afterthought.

None of your answer are correct. The reason we invaded Iraq was the oil pipeline needed by Haliburton. Yes I know this administration has been corrupt and planned this invasion while Bush was Govenor of Texas. I guess the only suprise to me was how people still believe the lies and believe what ever Bush tells them. I wish people would care more about our young military men/women dying for a pipe line.

Mr. Fitzgerald - I don't know if you ever check these older post comments again or not. But here goes . . .

I heard the real reason for the Iraq invasion was basically twofold ~~

One - initial step to control majority of world oil supply as per PNAC statements.

Two - Saddam was about to switch from dollars to Euros. (As Iran is also preparing to do same and so are in near urgent need for us to bring them "democracy.")

Hubris is what needs to be criminalized. Seriously.
