No Fitz she's not a good attorney-cause I'm not an attorney yet I can refute all of her so called "legal arguments" right off the top of me head.

Pet peeve on how she cites her own previous junk for supporting her article

Even a criminal needs an Attorney. It's that Attorney's job to defend that criminal and that's what Clarice is doing. Now the law doesn't take sides and we have due process. The scale is not as high in civil as it is in criminal to prove your case. Notice the OJ criminal case not guilty but civil guilty. The Wilson's lost is due to Cheney/Armitage/Libby others. Clarice can spin/blame/lie to the public but it's the court of law that will decide the case. Clarice has to make a living so if lying for the White House gets her a check it works. I hope they paid her a lot as those who read your conclusion will not want her to represent them in any cour matter.

"Richard Armitage may have been the first to expose Valerie Plame’s identity as a CIA agent, and it is apparent that he should no more be trusted with national secrets than my dog should be performing laser eye surgery. But to argue that somehow this leak — which played no part in the concerted Administration effort to bully, intimidate and punish Joe Wilson — should somehow excuse Scooter Libby and Karl’s Rove’s subsequent actions is a true marvel of wingnut logic. Incredibly it is somehow okay to rob the liquor store, shoot the owner, rape the cashier and spatter the walls with blood because someone else was caught shoplifting there the week before."

Much better, I missed this back then.

It is amazing that attorney like Clarice can be brought and paid for. Out there to spread the negativity and smear camapign for the Wilsons. I find her quite distasteful to display the Wilsons' house on the market. She is ceetainly not a real estate agent. And whether the Wilsons are seeling their home to move to New Mexico is really irrelevant. And I don't blame the Wilsons for moving since the Gerbil Adminstration has put their lives in danger from their plot to reveal Ms. Wilson's employment. Clarice can give all of the crapola, make the gnome Libby look good, and discredit the Wilsons for all I care. The bottom line is that her friend, the gnome, has no case. He will lose come January. And I notice that Clarice never mention the Paula Jones/Clinton case in which Cotchett is using his argument for the Wilson case. But as a mentor taught me: most people who think that they think don't really think!

And yeah where are those quotes about the Paula Jones episode-I guess "his crime" seems to trivial to mention in retrospect, aye Clarice?

She'll find no friend here

Clarice needs to check to see if her buddy the gnome Libby is selling his home! With his criminal case and now a civil lawsuit, don't tell me that the Libby family are eating good. Better check if he is selling his home in Virginia for a smaller home. Who knows? the Wilsons may buy Libby's house. Does Rove have property for sale? Remember all of them have to lawyer up! LOL!

The Wilsons, Fitz, Randall Samborn, are not different from every day folks who stand up and seperate themselves against the mass to do what is right. Don't think that Samborn is not getting scrunity by the press because he is. Real leaders get criticize for the good and the bad. That is what the Wilsons, Fitz, Samborn, and every day heroes have to deal with. So, the Wilsons are well prepared for criticism since they decided to sue Rove, Cheney, Libby, and others. That is expected. Their main concern is not the people who criticize them but the people who support them. That is what counts.

Final posting:

GOP Congress slithers out and leave new Congress with unfinished spending bills and to clean up the mess.

Republicans vacating the Capitol are dumping a big spring cleaning job on Democrats moving in. GOP leaders have opted to leave behind almost a half-trillion-dollar clutter of unfinished spending bills.

[..]The bulging workload that a Republican-led Congress was supposed to complete this year but is instead punting to 2007 promises to consume time and energy that Democrats had hoped to devote to their own agenda upon taking control of Congress in January for the first time in a dozen years.

The decision to drop so much unfinished work in Democrats' laps demonstrates both division within Republicans ranks and the difficulty in resolving so many knotty questions in so short a time. [..]Now, with the agenda shrinking, a session that will be the last for 45 retiring or defeated House members and senators should be wrapped up by Dec. 8.

[..]Driving the decision to quit and go home rather than finish the remaining budget work is a determined effort by a group of conservative Republicans to prevent putting a GOP stamp on spending bills covering 13 Cabinet Departments - and loaded with thousands of homestate projects derided as "pork" by critics.

Good night, folks! Busy day for me on Monday. Biloxi out!

Their contention is that Firing Rummy before the election would've held the Senate for the GOP.. Not to mention that the GOP know that they don't stand a chance in 2008 if they don't get rid of Dumbya and Chainee one way Soon..

We saw yesterday what looked like a recall of Ambien and Gerbil by the Saudis..

Like I said: Gerbil and Ambien are not too popular anywhere...

Another whistleblower story about our national security... From Rawstory:

"From 1995 to 2001, Bogdan Dzakovic served as a team leader on the Federal Aviation Administration's Red Team. Set up by Congress to help the FAA think like terrorists, the elite squad tested airport security systems.

In the years leading up to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, Dzakovic says, the team was able to breach security about 90% of the time, sneaking bombs and submachine guns past airport screeners. Expensive new bomb detection machines consistently failed, he says.

The team repeatedly warned the FAA of the potential for security breaches and hijackings but was told to cover up its findings, Dzakovic says.

Eventually, the FAA began notifying airports in advance when the Red Team would be doing its undercover testing, Dzakovic says.
He and other Red Team members approached the Department of Transportation's Office of the Inspector General, the General Accounting Office and members of Congress about the FAA's alleged misconduct regarding the Red Team's aviation security tests. No one did anything, he says.

Then came 9/11.

"Immediately (after 9/11), numerous government officials from FAA as well as other government agencies made defensive statements such as, 'How could we have known this was going to happen?'

I am so happy to read this about the Senator-elect for Missouri whom I supported in November:

Missouri's Senator-Elect Claire McCaskill (D-MO) appeared on CBS Face The Nation Sunday morning.

"Among the many topics covered, McCaskill discussed her position on the Iraq war in the context of her recent appointment to the Senate Armed Services Committee. McCaskill strongly questions the role of money in the war, both in terms of the money the US government is putting into the war, as well as the money contractors and others are making in the rebuilding of Iraq.

Partial transcript:

"But I know as a new member of the Senate, and as a new member of the Armed Services Committee, I want to ask some questions, because this supplemental appropriation of $150 billion the President is going to ask for, clearly we need to have some accountability. People have gotten rich off this war, and I want to make sure we put a stop to that."

WASHINGTON: As the world worried about Saddam Hussein's quest for nuclear and biological weapons, the Iraqi dictator took time out to discuss with his top advisers the merits of a decidedly more primitive arsenal: slingshots, Molotov cocktails and crossbows.

Previously undisclosed video footage, apparently shot in the months before the American-led invasion in 2003, shows the Iraqi dictator beaming as military officers display and demonstrate low-tech arms spread on a table in a ceremonial room. Whether the episode shows genuine preparation for a coming insurgency or was merely a bizarre propaganda exercise is uncertain.

Now Bush is going to Brother Bill for help and turning his back on the GOP. The new GOP theme song is everybody for yourself. Bill is now saying to all who cursed him

Hmmm..

From 60 minutes:

McGaugh studies memory in rats, and he invited Stahl to watch the making of a rat memory – in this case how a rat who's never been in this tank of water before learns how to find a clear plastic platform just below the surface.

"He’ll swim around randomly," McGaugh explains. The rat cannot see the platform, since his eyes are on the top of his head.

The rat will swim around the edge for a long time, until eventually he ventures out and by chance bumps into the platform. The next day, he'll find the platform a little bit faster.

But another rat, who had learned where the platform was the day prior, and then received a shot of adrenaline immediately afterwards, today swam instantly to the platform.

Adrenaline actually made this rat's brain remember better, and McGaugh believes the same thing happens in people.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/11/22/60minutes/main2205629_page2.shtml

Maybe McGaugh can be Fitz's upcoming witness in Libby's trial. And maybe Libby should be injected with Adrenaline in the brain to help him recall why he lied to the goverrment. Do you think can be used in McGaugh's future experiment? LOL!

Yes, bluewild. I am kinda shocked at your news of Dan Rather and Rummy sharing a ranch. I would have never expected that one. Here I thought Dan would have been able to redeem himself and go on to reveal the pressure put on the MSM to stay mum.

Maybe those stories are true about Dan being the cover up guy on the grassy knoll reporting from Dallas all those years ago. If we cannot start with the truth a century ago, perhaps we could start with the death right before the murder of JFK and work forward for truth. It has been all lies and cover-ups to the public since. However, we need the reasons for the 1947 National Security Act that evil-doers like to hide behind. It is time the American people and the world learn the truth.

The Iraqi Prime Minister was looking increasingly precarious last night as domestic factions worked to undermine him and Washington leaders came close to writing him off.

Nouri al-Maliki went on television to urge rival politicians to stop feuding and to plead with Iraqis to halt their country’s slide towards civil war.

There were fears, however, that armed Sunni and Shia groups would go on the rampage today when a three-day ban on Baghdad traffic is lifted.

He is being threatened by both sides. I bet the man's life is in grave danger.

This is why the truth must be told and those held accountable for their actions so history doesn't repeat itself yet once again.

"Everything about the Neoconservative philosophy, agenda, and policies have proven to be little more than exquisite mythological machinations. Their only claim to fame is the notion that Reagan defeated the Soviet Union. That myth, of course, disregards that pesky thing called reality. Long before Ronald Reagan became President, the USSR was collapsing beneath the weight of its own incompetence and corruption. The final nail in the Soviet Bear's coffin was not Reagan's insane military spending, but rather the Polish workers' Solidarity movement. It was then that the Soviets realized they could no longer control the empire, so they stopped trying. It didn't have much to do with Reagan and his silly addiction to hyper-manufacturing weapons of mass destruction."
